Sage chuckled in response to her comment, making a sort of mock offended gasp before settling down again. "Well I think it's good," he mused lightly. It was a bit stronger...but he rather liked the kick it had. It wasn't enough to get him drunk, not after one drink for sure, especially since his previous one had been pretty light. But for now, he was happy to just press his side against Mari happily, just glad to have been able to both get out and spoil her a bit.

Mari snorted out a chuckle before shaking her head. "Of course you do," she giggled softly to him before sort of cocking her head. She watched him for a moment, a little grin crossing her face before she moved to peck his cheek happily. "How are you so..." she started before letting out. A small chuckle when she realised she really didn't know what she was planning on saying. "I'm so lucky," she chirped.

Sage laughed along with her comments, sort of just sipping at the drink happily. Her next comments caught him a bit off guard though, and he cocked his head at her, blinking slowly as he tried to figure out hoe to respond to that one. A smile played on his face though and he chuckled softly, leaning over to peck her cheek. "I got pretty lucky too," he hummed lightly after a moment.

A delighted hum escaped her when he moved to peck her cheek and nodded in agreement. "You are incredibly lucky to have me," she teased. She wrinkled her nose in thought before chuckling. "I mean, where would he be without me? Probably still living in the doctors ward behind a curtain like the sad troll you are," she huffed, waving a hand at him with an amused chuckle before going to sip and her drink. She drew in a soft breath. "You certainly wouldn't be enjoying yourself with the love of your life," she muttered teasingly.

Sage couldn't help but let out a laugh in response to her comments, shaking his head with amusement. "Hey, I like hiding in the corner like a sad troll sometimes," he noted with amusement, leaning into her happily. "Though I do suppose having found the love of my life and marrying jer, and fathering our little batch of chaos demons is something I'm quite lucky to have been a part of," he noted softly, though his voice stillc arrying a twinge of amusement.

Mari sucked in air through her teeth, tutted teasingly. "I dunno Sage. If we left you there you'd probably be growing mushrooms out of one of your old shirts," she muttered, wrinkling her nose playfully. She grinned at his next comment, and gave a small laugh. "Incredibly lucky. Aren't you just so glad I said yes??" She chuckled with a laugh. "Even our chaos demons aren't that bad," she huffed, waving a hand at him playfully. "And our house is alright," she mused. "And we're still married so that's good," she giggled.

Sage chuckled softly and shrugged in response to her comment about the mushrooms. "Hey, mushrooms can be friends too," he noted with a laugh. "Don't disrespect the mushroom friends," he sort of squeaked, really just enjoying their little bit of friendly banter. "I am very lucky you said yes," he mused lightly, nodding along with her comment. We are, in fact, still married with wonderful chaos demons under our command," he noted lightly. The whole conversation was really just rediculous, but that was ok. It was enjoyable.

Mari looked at hun like he was crazy for a moment, and sort of flicked his shoulder lightly. "Right. Mushroom friends. By the sounds of things. You rather enjoy these mushrooms don't you?" She teased gently she sort of patted the table when the bar tenderer came over, and ordered another drink happily. "I dunno, these friends seem like an awfully bad influence. She grinned at his next comment, and gently bumped his side. "The chaos demons are getting less chaotic, mind," she mused lightly. "And who knows, maybe our marriage is going to fall apart. You know, you'll go stay with your mushroom friends, and I'll have to lock the chaos demons away so that can't taunt anyone else..." she joked gently.

Sage couldn't help but laugh in response to her comments, shaking his head slightly, just amused by the whole thing. "Absolutely, I'll pick my mushroom friends over you anyday," he noted, both of them knowing he'd never really pick anyone over her. "No, I'd bring the chaos demons with me and together we could terrorize the city," he noted. That one actually did sound rather fun though....he could admit that at least.

Mari raised a lip at him before shaking her head. "Really? I would have picked the mushroom friends," she mused softly to him. She then moved to peck his lips with a teasing grin. "Yes, only the children need tone fed, and if you can't feed them how on earth are you meant to control them," she teased him. She then cocked her head. "We should probably just stay together. It would be a whole lot easier. Plus, how am I meant to keep my bed warm if you're off terrorising the city?" She asked with a laugh.
