Fay chuckled "I'm sure it's just plain brush and pretty clear nobody really comes down this path much anymore so i don't think we are going to run into someone else" She replied, Fay clucked letting Double trot so it wasn't too boring for him "You can walk if you want just want to keep Double entertained" She smiled looking back at Andre for a moment

Brea watched them trot but continued to walk, She had her head a bit lower as she was a tad bit lazy with her walk but her ears perked as she looked around a bit only seeing bush and some tall tree's making patterns on the trail below. Taking a deep breath there was a faint smell of other horses on the trail so she lifted her tail letting others know she was here by leaving some droppings behind

Double picked up his trot without a second thought, happy to be going a bit faster since he had a lot of energy to burn at the moment and walking wouldn't cut it, he tossed his head in excitement smelling other horses around, his eyes peeled for a sign of movement

Andre nodded but asked for a trot, walking was fine but judging by how fast the other's were he didn't want to get left behind

Brea snorted a few times as she didn't listen the first time he asked but the second she started trotting after Fay & Double, Turning her attention back to Andre she wondered if he was able to stay on considering there was no saddle and she was wet also trotting

.

Fay was able to move with Double's trot happily looking ahead enjoying their trail ride but she wasn't sure about Andre considering he was dunked into a lake by his horse and now has to ride home soaked but she was proud of Double staying nice and calm, She could see the ranch up ahead and remembered that she ordered new tack for Double and couldn't wait for that to arrive.

Andre found his grip as Brea transitioned to a trot, it wasn't the best but he wouldn't fall off so he was relaxed. It wasn't long before he also saw the ranch ahead and smiled "I can't wait to get into dry clothes"

Double slowed his pace as they got closer to home, his steps getting more and more uneven until he just slipped into a walk. He turned his head back to look at the other's and wiggled his ears

Brea's front leg got stiff again as she trot along so she did the same as Double and slowed to a walk, Getting excited as she saw the ranch she tossed her head before nickering pointing that out to Double even though he already knew. She looked at his rider confused as she chuckled

Fay gave Double a scratch on the neck for being a good boy some treats in line for him when they get back and chuckled when she heard Andre's mare nickering when she spotted the ranch, She smiled and stretched a bit her bottom going a little numb from sitting most of the trail ride.They were about to exit the trail

Double laughed at Brea "really that excited just to be back? Are you looking forward to getting cleaned up, it looks that way for your rider" he noted looking at Andre and the way he had started to shiver slightly

Andre himself was ignoring the fact that he was cold and just wanted to change so he followed Fay without hesitation, he was also pretty glad to be back

Brea snorted at what he said but did find it funny, "My foots a bit sore just wanted to get in the warmth" She said as they came out of the narrow path and were getting closer to the ranch. She watched as Double was stopped by Fay and as the girl dismounted

Fay pulled the neck rope back a bit asking Double to stop before she managed to dismount losing her balance a bit but quickly stood up straight and chuckled giving Double a pat and looking back at Andre checking he was okay before leading Double to the barn and saw Sasha run in to get warm freezing cold as she had to swim through the lake earlier no horse to keep her up and dry

"ah I see, well then lets get going so you can rest, I could go for some oats myself" he grinned already knowing about his treats, he was all too happy to listen to every comand, stopping as soon as he was asked and waiting patiently for his reward

Andre took his time brushing Brea's coat out and wiping her down to get rid of the water as best he could before tossing one of the few remaining blankets over her back and putting her in a stall, running off to get some fresh hay so she could eat something too

Brea enjoyed the grooming and was comfortable now that her coat was nice and dry, Relaxing in her stall the blanket helped her body warm up faster as she calmly watched the people and other horses around the barn before nosing the empty hay net and waiting for Andre to come back.

Fay once she had the halter on Double tied his lead to a post just outside the stable and started grooming him once she gave him a few treats saying over again just how much she loved him, "My gorgeous boy" She smiled as she went through his tail with a brush being careful not to pull any hairs before she went through his mane then finished off his coat. Back in his stall instead of a blanket she turned up the heating a bit, "i'll be back let me get you some food" She gave him a kiss on the muzzle before heading to the feed room.

Double was very full of himself at the moment, the grooming, the treats and the praise made for one very happy and very proud gelding, he held up his head and flicked his tail as he was lead to his stall, walking like a noble steed, the only giveaway to his exitement being his helicopter ears wiggling all over the place as he waited for his feed

Andre came back with a fresh net full of hay and a couple sweets for Brea, holding out the treats for her to munch on as he hung up the net and gave her a few pats before checking her legs again now that she wasn't muddy or dusty
