"You good?" Rose called upstairs

"Yep," He called back. "Never been better." Caden muttered,cursing under his breath.

"I know that's a lie." She muttered, returning her gaze to her phone

Caden lied back on the bed and opened tiktok,still feeling like shit.

Rose watched Tiktoks for a while before growing bored

"Murph," Caden called,Murphy standing up,pricking his ears forward and back.Murphy shook before trotting to Caden,jumping on the bed. "Hey bud."

Rose smiled soflty as Caden called his dog, glad he had company altough he was sick

"Glad I can't get you sick,atleast." Caden sighs,stroking the dog.Murphy snuggled his head on Caden's chest,sensing he was off.

Rose grew bored after a while and wnt to grab her volleyball before going outside and practing hitting againt the wall and setting agaist the wall

The moon rose and Caden showered,hopping out,getting dressed and hurling again.He slumped down on the wall as a wave overcame him.No,this was'nt natural.It was because he had drank the poison instead of the Morphling.
