Ellie flinched a little when she felt a hand on her shoulder, her hand clenching into fists as she opened her eyes slowly. "Mhm." She grumbled, rubbing her eyes slightly before making an attempt to stand up. She was a little wobbly from sleep, but quickly regained her balance and made her way towards the two stables swiftly, making sure both horses were fine before stealing their hay nets and buckets to re-fill them.

"um, were you there all night?" Sam asked as he took neros haynet and began filling it. he put it down in Nero's stable and mixed together bran,chaff,nuts,cod liver oild and sugarbeet pulp into a healthy formula for his horse. he sat there watching him eat, then he topped up his water with the hose.he scratched Nero's forehead then turned to Ellie.

Ellie paused for a moment, tilting her head as she tried to remember. "Maybe... I think I wen't back once to get food." She shrugged, starting to make her way up the hay loft to fill their nets, then walking back down with furrowed brows. Her phone was dead. "Hey, do you mind telling the time?" She questioned and she hung a hay net outside each of the the stables, then making up two hard feeds, apple chaff, nuts, beaut and sugar beat for Astra, then calmer and linseed for Frost. She chucked them the buckets before hopping in with the gelding, leaning softly against his side with the smallest smile.

"its 6 AM," he said, pulling his phone out of his back pocket to check what the time was. "and judging by your appearence," he gestured at the hay in her hair and the horse hair on her shirt "you need a wash." he took Nero out and began washing him, spraying him all over with a hosepipe then lathering him in shampoo to get rid of any stable stains he had aquirred over the night.

Ellie had to look down to see what he had meant before her eyes widened. She looked like she had been dragged through a hedge backwards. A light blanket of red started to appear across her cheeks, with her brows furrowed. It was still early, she had time to get herself presentable, at least. She walked out of the stable, pausing to explain where she was going. "Not that anyone would ask, but if they happen to, just tell them I'll be back it a bit." She murmured, starting to make her way towards the small living accommodation.

Sam lauhed as she blushed, embarrassed. "sure, take your time." he said, laughing again as she walked away to the living accomodation to make herself presentable. Sam got up, dusted down his jodphurs and set to work mucking out Nero. then he swept the yard, humming to himself. "quite the character, isnt she Nero." he said to his horse, who was peacefully standing in he sunshine in the yard, snaffling up some golden hay.

Ellie quickly got a shower and got changed into some fresh clothes and towel dried her hair, putting it into a single messy plat. She then got something to eat and grabbed two apples from the small table, and swiftly made her way back, not only looking a little fresher, but more awake as well. Her face held a smile as she paused at the stable that held Astra, chucking one of the apples in his bucket. "There you are!" Ellie's smile turning into a grin before chucking the other apple in with Frost. "And one for you as well." She said her voice quietening a little, as though not to scare the mare.

Sam acknowledged Ellie's return with a nod, and turned towards his Horse. right. lets get you tacked up then.he put on his jumpin saddle, bridle, and burgundy accessories. he hpped on lightly, and trotted past ellie and her horses with a wave. they had a fun little gallop on the way to the arena, which was in a nearby field.they got in and did some bending excersises, as well as bounce jumps. they ended it and cantered back, arriving at a trot into the yard, happy and exilerated. Sa had a huge smile on his face.

Ellie was seriously thinking about a day off from the horses, and maybe just go out with a few friends... But she had a paid lesson later, and couldn't just skip it. She could give Astra a day in the paddocks, he was sure to enjoy that, and she could work with Frost a little longer. Once she made up her mind, she floated back towards Astra and slipped a halter over his head and lead him out towards the little fields. She raised a brow a Sam, who looked as though he had a fair amount of fun before opening the gate and letting the gelding go. Astra paused for a moment before suddenly turning around and and galloping to the end of the paddock. Ellie smiled softly and went to sit on the fence, watching him peacefully for a while.

"why so serious?" Sam said happily, laughing as he tied Nero up and unsaddled him. He had had a wonderful ride and was in a very good mood. he turned Nero out in his paddock next to Astras. He grabbed his tack and sat on a sunny bench, rubbing it with a cleaning cloth untill it gleamed in the sunshine. "are you no fun at all?" he said to the girl.
