He watched the canidates, seeing if any of them were nervous or calm. The following canidate lost and another went in, coming out after a while and passing. -That makes two- Malcolm thinks -only three more to go.- He watched as the next two went one after the other, the first passing while the second failed. Now one canidate remained. Mal recognized this canidate as the one who had gone last when fighting the guard. He doubted that this time the canidate had an advantage but there was still some hope.

[Camron went in. His heart was slightly fast as he tried to calm. He sat across from the assistant as they began the questions. Camron recognized the first question from his schooling along with several others. They felt easy even if he failed a few. After several minutes they were done. The assistant walked his back to the door, "This candidate passed." Camron walked over for the other Candidates who passed and stood with them.]

Mal watched as the last canidate went in and came out after passing. "Congrats on passing," the king says to the last four canidates, "for your last challenge you will have to accompany the prince to a designated area while a few hidden attackers try to take him down." Malcolm looked worried as he stood next to his father as he explained this last challenge. He knew that the attackers wouldn't be looking to harm him but was still nervous. He looked at the canidates and saw that they seemed slightly worried too, but only a little bit since they were here to protect him. Mal felt a tug at his sleeve and looked over as his mother passed him a note. The note read, 'Feel free to talk to them since one of them will be your guard. Let them do their job at protecting you and wait until someone says when it is over.' Mal nodded at his mother once he was done reading the note and listened as his father explained some more details to the canidates.

[Camron listened but the anxiousness knowing this was the last challenge kicked in. He kept his head down but still listened to instructions. The idea of hidden attackers made him worry but he knew that they meant no real harm. Camron bit his nails a bit standing near the edge of the group. He bit and torn the ends of his nails trying to calm down. It worked after a minute and he stood waiting for it to start.]

Mal nodded at his father, signaling that he was ready, and his father looked at the first canidate. "You will be going first," the king says, "you will be taking my son to the stables, which are outside on the other side of the castle grounds. Malcolm will be able to tell you the directions." The king looked at Mal and he nodded again before gesturing to the canidate for them to go. Mal started off at a walk as the canidate walked beside him. He made small conversation as they walked, asking their name and other details. The canidate was not much of a talker and was kind of rude when he did answer, which was a big no for Malcolm. When they were about half-way to the stables the attackers jumped them and caught the canidate slightly off guard. Soon the attackers tired the canidate and he was eliminated from the challenge. "Thank you for your time," he says to the canidate as they give him a bow and leave the grounds. Mal returned to the group and shook his head at his father.

[Camron held his head down as he grew worried about how quickly the candidate had lost. He grew worried how hard the challenge was. Camron crossed his arms he dreaded the competition ahead as he waited for who was up next.]

The next canidate soon approached Mal and they were told to go to his mothers flower garden, which was equally as far as the stables were. Thankfully for Malcolm this canidate seemed more focused on their surrounding as well as they were polite and kind of talkative. When the attackers jumped them the canidate kept his focus on the attackers closest to Mal and never left his side. The canidate passed and Mal returned to the group with him and gave a nod to his father. -I like this one- he thought -but there are still two others.-

[Camron kept a bit better knowing the next person passed. He felt a bit more confident but standing next to the other final candidate he was still slightly nervous. His mind made up horrible fake scenarios that could happen. He muttered under his breath before looking to the King and Queen, they spoke to each other quietly.
Camron glanced at the other candidate for a moment wondering if they would make it through.]

Mal waited as the second to last canidate approached him and they were told to go to the gates of teh castle, a slightly shorter distance. The king gave Mal a look and he knew that it meant for them to take the longer way, so that the trip was equal in time to the other two trips. This canidate didn't talk at all to Malcolm, despite his best efforts, and instead focused on everything around them. The canidate was not caught off guard when the attackers came, but did seem to do more challenging attacks on them which lead to him being eliminated. Once the canidate left Malcolm returned to his parents and the canidates. "Tried to do some fancy moves instead of the more precise ones," he told his parents, "he was eliminated." His gaze drifted over to the last canidate and gave him a warm smile.

[Camron tensed slightly. He walked over to the prince, stopping a few feet in front of him. Noting what had happened with how, the two who had been eliminated were out fairly quickly. He waited for the king to give the location as he stood with his arms crossed. Camron tried hard to stay focused through the mild fear of what the challenge before him greeted. One had made it through so far, he was left and did not quite know how likely he was to make it though.]
