Mari waited until the boy was asleep to get comfortable in bed, watching the cat get comfortable next to the boy before curling up herself... she'd made sure to just move his head to the side so that he wouldn't suffocate to death, but then hugged onto a pillow rather than the boy... it he wasn't feeling good he might just need a bit of rest, and her clinging onto him wouldn't make it much better. She soon drifted off with her little pillow, really quite grateful some rest... she was still exhausted, and this baby just seemed to be taking every ounce of energy she had from her.

Sage slept quite deeply all night. He woke up sometime in the morning and looked around groggily, still affected by the medicine a bit. He noticed the girl sleeping soundly, and he smiled slightly before shifting over to wrap himself around her. Amber had already gotten up, and was pattering around in the floor somewhere... probably eating breakfast. He fell back asleep again, just as soundly as before. The medicine had definitely worked, and he was very glad it had. Because this was nice. He wasn't sure if Mari was planning on working or not, but he felt a bit better this morning, so she could if she wanted. He'd find something to do.

Mari slept until early morning... she felt an arm wrap around her waist and a slight smile crossed her face, along with a slight fluttering of warmth in her stomach, though she just kept herself wrapped around her pillow as she drifted off again without much of a struggle. She needed to get up for work... but the queen knew she needed to watch Sage until he was feeling a bit better, so she could afford a bit longer to rest, surely. Her head had started to pound at her anyway, so she couldn't stay awake if she tried... the light peeking through her window hurt her head, so she welcomed the darkness of sleep gratefully. She had a few hours just to rest with Sage for the time being.

Sage was more than happy to lay around with Mari until she had to leave. Rather, he was quite content to cuddle up where it was warm and cozy for as long as possible. He'd stay there all day if he could, but unfortunately, that wasn't quite how life worked. But for now, he was content to let himself slip back into a deep sleep. Sleeping the medicine off would be a good idea anyway. He did hope he'd wake up to see Mari before she left a bit, but sleep was nice for now. So, that's what they did. Amber came back up onto the bed and curled up against his back after a while, burying under the covers with them happily.

Mari managed to stay asleep for a little while longer... until she didn't hate the idea of getting up. Her head still hurt, though, so shifted over so that she buried her face into the side of his neck to hide away. Her shoulders rose and fell a little as she woke up, still not quite ready to get out of bed just yet. After half an hour, though, when she felt Sage shift, she gave a bit of a groan and buried her nose into his chest a little bit more. "Sage," she breathed quietly, though she didn't say anything after... she was just happy he was there with her.

Sage dimly heard the girl say his name, though his response was pretty much just a quiet huff of air, since he'd barely woken up by then. Really, he was still mostly asleep. But that was normal...he just wasn't a morning person. The medicine had seemed to have worn off by then, so his sleepyness just seemed to be the normal thing. He sort of scooted closer to the girl and tangled their legs up a little bit more with a light him before settling back down again, sort of drifting in and out of a light sleep and back again.

Mari smiled softly when he felt his legs wrap around hers, and settle down again. She had no idea what the time was, or if she was meant to be anywhere, but she didn't overly care... it was quiet and comfortable, and she couldn't get any closer to the boy if she tried... which was admittedly pretty comforting to her. To just be curled up with the man she loved, when nothing was overly wrong... yes, her head still ached, but it wasn't anything bad, not really... and it was nice to be relaxed for a little while. She slipped her arms under his shirt once more, as she always had and rested her hands just on his chest... she still knew she should get up, but this was nice.

Sage hummed quietly when he felt the girl slip her hands under his shirt. It had become something he'd learned to adore...even if her hands were sometimes cold. It all just meant that she was relaxed and comfortable, which was always nice. Especially since he knew he'd scared her a bit. Well, a lot. He'd probably scared her a lot. He'd scared himself ...the hallucinating was pretty new, as far as he could remember. Either way, that was over now. Hopefully it wouldn't happen again, too. He just hoped Anya wouldn't see the marks on his skin and ask too many questions. He didn't mind some, of course ..she'd be concerned too ..but still. After a while, though, he was awake enough to hum a sleepy good morning to Mari.

Mari smiled softly when she heard his sleepy greeting. She moved a little bit to press a very sleepy kiss to his collar and murmured a quiet good morning back to him. "How are you feeling," she whispered quietly to the boy, still refusing to open her eyes... it wasn't very bright in their room, but it was too much for her to open her eyes for. She hoped he was feeling a little bit better... he'd gotten a fright the day before, and so had she for that matter, and she didn't want to leave him alone if he still wasn't feeling amazing.

Sage smiled softly when he felt Mari's kiss. "better," he hummed. "There's still a bit of a fog but I can think clearly," he hummed. He'd stayed still, with his eyes closed, because it was still early and he didn't want to get up yet. (Short lol)
