Mari chucked softly to the boy before nodding. "I don't mind... he's a good kid," she hummed lightly as she watched the child run around after the cat. She found herself feeling a little bit lighter... more and more excited about her own baby. "No, not tomorrow," she hummed lightly. "Which means I can stay in bed until you've finished down at the yard," she chirped lightly. She was excited to have a look around some of the shops... it was something she'd always wanted to do... well, she'd always wanted a kid, but this was getting a little bit more real now, and she was thrilled.

Sage hummed lightly and nodded, watching the boy. A small smile crept onto his face, glad that he'd brought him back to the castle and kept him from starving out there as an infant. He nodded and then gave her a fake pout when she mentioned staying in bed. "You're making me get up while you stay in bed," he huffed. "How rude." He was really only joking about it because that's normally what happened.... except, he was the one staying in bed. "It'll be good to look around and see what we'll need," he admitted. "I can build a crib easily enough, and save a lot of money for other things," he pointed out. "And the kitchen had plenty of bottles and whatnot too." He shrugged slightly. "And the doctor will probably pitch something in because I'm positive he's going to completely spoil the kid," he chuckled.

Mari chuckled before nudging the boy lightly. "You stayed in bed this morning while I went to work!" She retorted with a bit of a laugh to the boy. "I'm carrying your baby, do I not deserve a bit of a sleep in?" She asked in a mock offended look as she placed a hand on her stomach, although it was just teasing. She probably wouldn't be asleep much longer than him, anyway... she never normally slept in for very long. She gave him a grin when he said he could build a crib... that'd be good so they could save more for some nicer things. "We can buy some paint or something for it, then... make it a bit more inviting than just wood," she mused softly. "That way we can get some little toys and blankets and clothes... we should be sorted then," she hummed happily.

Sage chuckled slightly and rolled his eyes at the girl's teasing. He leaned over to rest his head on her shoulder after a moment and closed his eyes. Not to fall asleep or anything, but just to rest his head for a moment. And cuddle. He just liked to cuddle. That was, admittedly, part of it. He hummed and nodded lightly, a though popping into his head. "There's paints left in the closet with decorations for the castle no one ever uses," he hummed. "I'll look and see what's in there...we may be able to just use that and focus on getting really cozy blankets or something," he pointed out. He wasn't normally excited to shop, but he was getting pretty excited for this. He wondered how he'd ever be able to wait for this child to get here.

Mari smiled when he rested his head on her shoulder, and moved a little bit to place a hand in his hair... "god you're so needy!" Mari joked before pecking the side of his head, knowing full well she enjoyed a cuddle just as much as he did. "That's a good idea," she hummed lightly... that meant they could just focus on the fun stuff. It got quite cold in the castle during winter, so they'd have to get some warmer stuff too... it'd be cheaper to get it now rather than in the winter when it was actually cold. She wasn't sure how big this baby would be, but they could get things to last it the first few months.

Sage gave the girl a wide grin in response to her teasing. "Yeah but I looove you," he giggled in a kind of sing-song voice, just to screw around really. He tilted his face up to peck the girl on the lips quickly too, since a, it went with the joke and b, if he had a chance to kiss her or get a kiss from her, he was going to take it. Then he nodded and shrugged. "The castle wastes a lot of stuff...there's a lot we could snag that they wouldn't miss. I've been doing that ever since Anya first dragged me in from the street," he chuckled lightly. They sat there talking for a while longer, before Sage visited Chaos and Mystery with Att, and then they all headed back together. He dropped Att off at the doctor's ward and checked in with the old man before wandering back to their room hand in hand with Mari. It had been a pretty good day, even if he still just felt groggy and not his normal self. A good night's rest again would help, and hopefully, by tomorrow, he'd feel almost normal again.

Mari smiled softly to the boy as they walked, and watched him flop down on the bed once in her room. "I'm all excited for baby shopping now," she mused lightly before shaking her head. She really was excited about the whole thing. She quickly got changed into something more comfortable before trotting over to the boy and throwing a leg over his side so that she was sort of straddling his waist. "Especially toys," she mused lightly before leaning in to peck his lips before grinning. "This baby is going to be the most spoiled thing ever, especially with the doctor, like you say," she chirped lightly.

Sage chuckled lightly, and sort of just flopped onto the bed to lay there while the girl changed. "me too, and I usually don't enjoy shopping," he chuckled lightly. He grinned up at the girl when she kind of straddled him and titled his chin into the kiss happily. "It most certainly will," he chuckled. "Well make sure it has a good life," he hummed, sort of remembering his own childhood and had a sudden very strong feeling to never let anything bad that happened to him happen to his own child. "We can let the baby take your rank too...so it's a bit higher up class wise. It'll make schooling and a job easier in the future," he hummed thoughtfully after a moment.

Mari grinned to the boy at his comment before nodding in agreement. "As awful as it sounds, I don't want it growing up in the castle," she murmured quietly as though in thought. "The kids up here aren't the nicest," she then added. "I've been saving for a while... to buy a house. It might be time to start looking," she then added quietly. She wasn't sure how Sage would feel about it... she wanted to be with him, and she knew he was safer up here, where he had lots of people around him... but she didn't want to grow old in the castle, or in her family home, because that was... chaotic. She then cocked her head. "If we got married you'd have my rank," she hummed in thought. "You need to hurry up and marry me!" She teased lightly before pressing another light kiss to his lips before sliding down next to him.

Sage nodded in response to the girl's comment. "I know what you mean," he hummed. "Even Atts been picked on, and he's practically a prince." He nodded when the girl mentioned getting a house ....it would be nice, he supposed, to have a place of their own. "With me working at the barn, we'll save up quicker," he hummed. "That gives us a bit more leeway with a house. Especially since a small simple but cozy one would be just what we want," he mused. Then he shrugged in thought before grinning sheepishly. "I don't know much about marriage customs," he admitted with a chuckle. "But maybe I will," he giggled after her kiss, turning to cuddle up happily after the joke. Though, he had been thinking about how to propose anyway ...how to get a ring and such.
