Sage felt a wide grin split his face when the girl accepted the proposal, the tension leaving his body as quickly as it had come. He really wasn't sure why he was so worried ....Mari had never been one to be rude or upset that something wasn't enough for her. He supposed he was just still hating on himself a bit, thinking he wasn't enough for her. But the excitement and happiness was quite clear on her face, and her reaction was nothing less than pure joy...and he was glad. "Good," he hummed after she had tugged him up back to her level and had pressed a kiss to his lips. He let out a breathy chuckle once he'd settled back down next to the girl and slipped the ring on her finger. "I wasn't sure when I'd get to do that," he murmured, quite happy that he'd gone ahead and done it. Now, once the baby was born, she'd have more good news to share with her family. He was so happy, he wasn't even worried about what Anthony would say or think ....he was just really, really glad at how everything had gone for the two of them recently. And there was really only more goodness to come.

Mari couldn't help her stupidly large smile across her face as he slipped the ring on her finger, inspecting the leafy details over it happily. She did love it... and he'd clearly put a lot of effort into it. That meant more to her than anything ever could. She couldn't stop her smile... it froze on her face, and it was beginning to hurt... she'd get to spend her life with this amazing man, someone she loved with everything she had... and she always would. She'd always love him. She wished she could show her excitement in any way other then just grinning at him, but that seemed nearly impossible. She couldn't do much in her condition, but she hoped he'd know how thrilled she was, and just how much love she had for him. "Well, I'm glad you did," she practically squeaked, "I thought you'd never ask," she giggled happily, looking much like an exited little girl.

Sage chuckled lightly at the girl's excited features and wrapped an arm around her happily. He reached over to peck her on the cheek, a dumb grin spread across his own face as well. "You have quite a bit of information to give your mother," he chuckled. "a baby and all of this," he mused. He did wonder if Anthony would accept it, though he wasn't really paying much attention to it. "You have no idea how long I've waited to ask," he giggled. "Or how long that little ring took to make," he mused. It had to be perfect, so he'd redone it probably a million times. But he was quite happy with how it had all turned out, and the girl's happiness was all the reward he needed.

Mari grinned and nodded to him. "Oh, my mother will be thrillled!" She chirped lightly before chuckling at his next comment. "I'm just glad you did..." she babbled happily to the boy. She then moved to press another kiss to his lips before pulling back again and going to look at the little ring, a bigger smiled across her face. "I love it, Sage.... its perfect," she hummed gently. It meant more to her than some rock would have... because the amount of love and afford that went into it was so much more. She knew he was scared about asking, but she really was just so thrilled about it all.

Sage hummed happily in response to the girl's comments, his already wide grin spreading wider when she pressed her lips to his. "Good, I'm glad you like it," he hummed. "I kinda felt bad about being able to give you a real one ," he admitted softly. But she seemed more than happy with the one he'd made, so he had stopped worrying too much about it. "Maybe bt the wedding, I can give you a real one," he mused lightly, sort of still wishing he could. "But that's far in the future, with the baby due so soon and all," he chuckled. "I think I'll focus on that for now, hmm," he joked. They'd have plenty of time to prepare and plan a wedding...once their little one slept through the night, anyway.

Mari rolled her eyes at him, a bit of a chuckle escaping her. "No, don't be silly," she mused softly. "I'd love anything you gave me, you know that. The effort you put in means more to me than anything. I really love it," she hummed with a delighted smile across her face. She looked at him with furrowed brows, though her smile was certainly still present. "I never thought I'd be getting married... and I'd never think I'd have a child now, either. Not with someone I actually love and care about... but it's all happening now, and it's because of you... there doesn't need to be a fancy ring, I promise," she told him gently, knowing it'd probably eat him up if she let him think he needed to get something with a rock on it. She just didn't care about that. She then nodded in agreement to him. "Yeah... the baby first. Not long now, I don't think," she hummed happily as she rested her hand on her stomach.

Sage gave the girl a soft smile as she assured him what he'd done was alright. It really was nice of her....but he supposed that if she didn't really care if the ring was fancy or not, then that was a good thing, because he didn't see either of them ever making enough for a pair of fancy rings, or a huge wedding. It would be simple, and small....he knew that. And honestly, he kind of liked it that way. A huge wedding with lots of people would be, well, rather scary. There weren't really words to thank her with, so he sort of just curled into her side happily again and rested his head lightly on her shoulder. "I can't wait to see it," he hummed, reaching over to place a light hand where the little one was resting. "It's driving me crazy trying guess if it's a boy or girl," he admitted with a soft laugh, rather amused at himself.

Mari nodded in agreement to the boy before chuckling. She couldn't wait, either... but she'd said that more than enough. This baby would be so loved, by both of them. "Neither," she giggled lightly before resting her cheek on the side of his head, and a hand softly on top of where his lay. "Yeah... I can't wait. I don't care what it comes out as, but still... it's exciting. What do you think it is?" She asked with a cocked head, a smile lightly across her face. There was a good chance that smile wouldn't leave her for a long while... she was excited for so much now. Planning a wedding, the baby... their entire future was just so... well, exciting.

Sage hummed lightly in thought and then shrugged. "I don't know what it'll be", he hummed. "And I suppose I don't particularly care...I'll love it no matter what it is," he chirped. "We're so close to knowing too," he mused with a wide grin. He really couldn't wait....he was an inpatient person, a little bit, anyway....but this was taking much too long, in his opinion. But he supposed that the fact that it hadn't come early was a good thing. It would mean that the baby was healthy. And, they werent caught unprepared for it. He also couldn't wait to introduce the baby to Anya. He knows the princess and Mari didn't really talk all that much, but Anya was still like a sister to him, and she'd been pretty supportive. He knew she thought it was a bit soon for Mari to be pregnant at first, but not anymore. He'd have to tell her Mari said yes too...she'd knew what he was planning, and had seemed excited enough about it.

Mari smiled lightly at the boy before pecking his head. "Yeah... whatever it is, it will certainly be loved, by everyone... especially, the doctor, he's more excited than anyone," she mused before shaking her head. It was true, though... the doctor had her in for checkups most days now. She was sure most women didn't go in so often, but he just seemed to want things to go perfectly. She nodded and grinned at the boy. "We're very close," she chirped happily. "The doctor said in the next day or so... but the sooner the better. I just want to hold it," she hummed happily before shrugging. She looked at the bump for a moment or so, her grin getting even bigger. "God, it's going to be so small," she mused. "I mean, neither of us are particularly huge anyway, but it really will be tiny," she hummed happily.
