Sage hummed lightly in response to the girls good morning and leaned his head back to lean it against her collar bone. "What are you planning on doing today," he hummed after a while. He wasn't planning on doing much down at the barn... mystery had been doing well and deserved a bit of a break. Besides, with Mari getting so close to giving birth, he didn't want to be away for so long for a while. He didn't want her to go into labor or need him for something while he wasn't there. "I don't have much to do at the barn," he added on to his previous statement. It would be nice to just spend some quality time with Mari before the baby got here, he supposed. They wouldn't have much alone time after, and no matter how much he loved the baby alone time with Mari was still pretty nice.

Mari shrugged to the boy at his comment and rested her chin in his hair. "Not much," she murmured quietly. "The doctor is saying to take things easy," she told him with a slight shake of the head. She hated not having much to do... or not being able to do much. "And my back hurts so I can't do much even if I wanted to," she whispered before closing her eyes again. "I'll come with you to the yard then," she murmured with a small smile before rolling onto her back with a gentle sigh. They certainly didn't have long until this baby got here, not now. Maybe a day or two... and while she was excited, she was also terrified about giving birth... so much could go wrong, and the more she thought about it, the more worried she got.

Sage hummed lightly and nodded, though in a way so as not so move his head enough to shake the girls head as well. "Well, he's right. You can't go bouncing around everywhere this close to giving birth," he chuckled lightly. He yawned and nodded when she said she'd go down to the barns with him and rolled over onto his back next to her happily. "I'm just feeding today," he told her. "I'm giving mystery a day or so of break, and I don't want to be too far from you for too long either," he admitted.

Mari hummed lightly in response to the boy, a small chuckle escaping her. "I couldn't bounce about if a tried. Though, it might make the baby drop quicker," she teased lightly. Of course, it wouldn't do anything, but she could of course joke. "I'll come with you... I need to get out of this room or I'll drive myself mad," she mused quietly. She rested her hands on her stomach before deciding laying on her back was painful and had to roll over to face him again. "And I like seeing little Mystery's face," she babbled happily to the boy before shaking her head.

Sage chuckled lightly and nodded. "Yeah, but I don't think I want it to drop while you're standing up," he chuckled, turning to face the girl when she turned to him. He gave the girl a grin and a nod at her other comments though. "Mystery's face is pretty cute," he giggled lightly. "and I suppose not having a mad significant other would be pretty nice," he hummed. "Though I don't know that you aren't crazy anyway," he teased her lightly.

Mari chuckled lightly and shook her head. "I'm sure we'll be fine... we joke, but I'm actually terrified to give birth, so really, it it did just drop out that'd be ideal," she huffed lightly with a small chuckle. She then gasped at his next comment. "I'm not crazy!" she squeaked with a small chuckle. "If either of us is crazy, I'm afraid it might have to be you... though I might join you in crazyland soon enough." Mari smiled lightly when he turned to face her, and moved to press a soft kiss to his lips after a moment or so. "I'll go anywhere you go, so the fact I'd join you in crazyland probably doesn't surprise anyone," she hummed lightly.

Sage chuckled lightly and then nodded. "That's fair," he hummed. "I would definitely be terrified of popping a mini alien out of my body," he chuckled. "But the doctor will make sure everything goes alright. Maybe it really will just pop right out." Then he grinned over at the girl. "No, you're definitely crazy. You like me enough to have my child. That's definitely crazy," he giggled, his usual dumb smile crossing his face at her kiss. "I think no one will be surprised at that," he hummed lightly.

Mari smiled lightly to the boy, knowing that he was right... the doctor would look after her, and she knew that much. She then gave him a funny look and a small chuckle. "I'd be a bit worried if you popped a mini alien out too," she joked a little bit before shaking her head. She then gasped at him in a kind of mock offence. "I am not crazy!" she insisted with a bit of a laugh. "If me liking you is the reason for my craziness, then maybe everyone else is crazy and I'm perfectly fine," she mused lightly before shaking her head once more. "Come on... we gad go do feeds and then sit about and do nothing all day," she joked lightly.

Sage chuckled lightly and nodded. "So would I, considering how hard it would be for it to come out of me," he chuckled. Then he snorted out a kind of laugh when she protested being crazy. "I think everyone's a little crazy in their own way. Some of us are just odder than others," he chirped before nodding and sitting up with a grunt. He helped Mari to her feet and they wandered down to the barn. He was glad to spend some time with her, even if it was while he was working.

Mari smiled to the boy before humming in thought. "Yeah, I have a feeling that might be a little bit painful," she mused softly. She then shook her head a little bit before pouting. "Not me, I'm perfectly normal," she mused lightly before rolling her eyes, knowing more than well she could be a bit... odd from time to time. They were both a little bit weird, but she loved Sage for it, and he didn't seem to care much all that much about her oddness. "You can be a bit weird if you really want to, though," she joked softly to the boy. She followed him down towards to the barn quietly, kind of following him from stall to stall as he dropped feeds off to each horse.
