Sage was more than happy to go back and clean up after them. He tried to shoo the girl away to sit down while he put stuff away, but the girl insisted on helping so he let her do a bit upon her insistance. If it made her feel better, then he wouldn't complain. Besides, it was good to know she was still healthy enough to do some things, even if moving about a lot was more difficult than usual. He hummed lightly and nodded, cocking his head as he thought about it. "Maybe," he mused. "That would be nice," he hummed. Once they were all done in the kitchen, they wandered down to the ward, where the doctor practically met them at the door, gesturing for them to sit down and get comfortable as he got his stethoscope and some other things out and then wandered back over to Mari.

Mari grinned at the boy, a bit of a bounce in her step... well, a little bit of one, considering she couldn't bounce. She looked to the boy then to the doctor when he pretty much ushered them in, and she sat down happily next to the boy. She'd come to quite like her visits to the old man... it meant she had someone to talk to while Sage was at work. "Good afternoon," she chirped, leaning against Sage a little bit as they sat down. "What were you wanting? I think everything is going alright... the baby is very wiggly," she mused lightly before shaking her head.

Sage perched next to the girl, sort of watching the doctor wander about and then looked back at Mari when she mentioned the baby being healthy and looked back at the doctor with a cocked head, curious to hear his reaction. The doctor hummed lightly and set down his things and picking up the stethoscope to listen to the baby. "Oh, I don't have any worries," he hummed. "It's just check ups. It's ready to meet the world any time now, so I just want to make sure everything is still going well, and maybe see if I can figure out when it'll be here," he hummed, sitting back a little bit. "Wiggly is good," he hummed. "I really don't have any concerns....I just want you to get here to give birth, so I want you to stay somewhat close to the castle in the next day or two, though I doubt it'll take that long."

Mari nodded lighty to the man, a bit of a smile across her face. That smile was certainly going nowhere. The baby was nearly here... so close, and now they were engaged, and her mind just seemed to be racing. She couldn't get much more excited if she'd tried. You could see that on her face, too... she was practically glowing, and she was sure that if she could she'd be bouncing about. "Yeah, I haven't felt like anything is going particularly wrong... and I feel fairly good, too, which has to be a good thing, surely.I won't be going anywhere," she promised lightly.

The doctor hummed and nodded, sitting back in his chair with a grunt. He waved the two of them on, humming "I'll see you back here soon. You go relax a bit before your big day," to the two of them. Sage helped Mari up, and took her hand again as they wandered out of the ward. "why don't you head back to the room and I can grab some of Luther's old shirts? We can fix them to fit me." She'd said she wanted to spend time together but sit down while doing so, and that way they could stay in their own room and all that. It would be nice. Besides, he could tell Anya she'd said yes....he really was very excited about that.

Mari grinned at the doctor and waved a little bit back to him. She'd gotten herself a little bit anxious about the next few days... she knew she'd be back fairly soon, but it was starting to scare her a tiny bit. She needed something to do, and his suggestion seemed like it'd work. "We can do that," she hummed happily to the boy. She had a few patterns they could follow, anyway... it'd be nice to do something with him, anyway. They soon got back to her room, and she settled herself on the bed with a soft sigh, more than grateful to be off her feet for a while.

Sage dropped Mari off at their room and made sure she was alright and comfortable before practically bouncing down to Anyas room and knocking on the door. "I'm just stopping by to grab some of Luther's old shirts like we agreed to a while back," he informed the girl when she opened the door. "Mari and I are gonna see them up before the baby gets here in the next day or so," he hummed happily. He was most definitely excited about it all, though he was trying to figure out if he should just tell the girl about the proposal right away or let it build up, or bring it about in normal conversation before telling her Mari's answer. He supposed he was over thinking it, but Anya knew he was planning on proposing soon, and shed been almost as excited as he was about the whole thing.

Anya called for the boy to come in, though she seemed pretty busy trying to catch Att to get him to his tutor. When the boy saw Sage, though, he practically sprang at him. Anya sighed and shook her head. "He's getting too quick for me," she mused lightly. She cocked her head at his question before shrugging. She did recall him asking, but the thought of giving away anything that belonged to Luther made her chest twist uncomfortably. "Yeah, of course," she murmured reluctantly before grabbing a couple of shirts that were neatly folded and handing them to the boy. She then gave him a bit of a smile. "That's right, it's nearly happening, isn't it! You must be so giddy," she chirped to him after a moment or two.

Sage grabbed Att when the boy sprang at him and then took Luther's shirts gently before giving the girl a wide grin and nodding. "The doctor says the baby will be here in the next day sometime," he hummed. "We're sort of staying in, close to the ward for a bit. I'll probably come running to you in a tizzy when it happens too," he chuckled. He looked over at Att, who only had one shoe on and his shirt tilted off one shoulder slightly. "You'd better get ready to go, little man," he chirped lightly, giving the boy a squeeze type of hug before setting him down so he could work at getting his second shoe actually on his foot. He looked back at Anya and gave her a small smile. "are you sure you want to give me this stuff," he asked quietly. "It's alright if you don't," he murmured.

Anya smiled lightly to the boy before shaking her head. "Well, that makes sense. You don't want to be way out in the village when the baby decides it wants to be here," she hummed lightly. She watched as the child went to put his shoe on and groaned in complaint. "Why won't you do that for me, bud?" She asked with a bit of a frown before shaking her head a little bit. She knew full well that the child would always listen to Sage over her - mostly because he thought he was cool. She looked at the clothes and then back to Sage. "No, take them," she murmured with a slight shake of the head. "They're not doing anybody much good sat up here," she added lightly. She still had a few left... the one she'd slept with for months after he'd died, and some of his finer outfits. "I can't believe it's nearly been a year since he went," she murmured after a moment or so before going to pack a small satchel full of pencils for the boy.
