Sage chuckled and nodded. "Definitely don't want to be out there. By worry is that I'll be down at the barn when it happens, or she's there with me or partway down and the baby decides to come or..." He pursed his lips and shook his head. "I think I'm more worried about it than she is," he admitted with a kind of chuckle. He knew she was nervous...and rightfully so. But he was most definitely terrified something bad would happen. He chuckled at Anyas comment to Att and then gave the girl a thankful smile. He sighed and nodded, tilting his head slightly as he though about the boy. "I still miss him just as bad," he murmured. "Seems so crazy how you can get attached to one person so much," he hummed. He watched Anya pack pencils for a moment before deciding their conversation had become too depressing, so he gave the girl a wide grin. "On the bright side, I propose this morning," he hummed. He wasn't going to give any more information until Anya perked up, but she could assume she said yes since he wasn't upset about it.

The girl shook her head a little bit at him before smiling. "You've always been a worrier! Everything will be fine, I'm sure. Someone will come and get you if something happens and you're not in the castle... and Mari can get herself to the doctor if she's early enough," she told him with a small smile. She knew he'd worry about Mari... he'd told her how much he cared for her. If anything went wrong, she didn't think she'd be able to console him... she didn't think anybody would be able to. So she did hope everything went soothingly for him. She nodded lightly at his comment. "Everything just seems so... empty without him. I think a part of me still just expects him to walk through the door and tell us it was a dumb joke," she murmured quietly before shaking her head. She still wished he was there with them... he was her whole life, and now he was just... gone. It was so strange. Her gaze snapped back to him, instantly slightly brighter at his happy comment. "Really?" She asked with a grin. "I take it all went well," she chirped happily to the boy.

Sage groaned slightly at Anyas comment. She was right, he knew....he really shouldn't be worrying so much. But he just couldn't help it...Mari and the baby were practically his entire world, and if something happened he wasn't sure he could ever forgive himself for it. He hummed and nodded at her comment about Luther, though the whole mood became quite happy again when they both perked up. He nodded happily and chuckled. "You were right, I shouldn't have worried about the ring not being good enough," he huffed. He pointed a finger at the girl in an accusing manner, but with a grin still on his face. "One of these days, something will happen, and I'm going to worry about it, and you'll say it's fine and then I can say it wasn't after it happens," he chuckled. Well, technically it had happened, plenty of times, but in rather dire circumstances that he couldn't exactly joke about without upsetting the girl. So, it would have to be something stupid. "I should get back...want me to walk Att down so you get a moments peace," he asked lightly, Turing to open the door.

The girl shook her head at the boy after a moment or so, a small chuckle escaping her. "I'm always right. I always will be, too... I'll pay you the day you get to say you were!" She joked lightly, knowing she'd been plenty wrong about a lot of things in the past... but she could joke a little bit. "She'd love anything you gave her, you know that. She wouldn't be with you if she wanted wealth," she teased lightly before shaking her head a little bit. "You make her happy enough - and from what I've seen she makes you happy. There was really nothing to be worried about," she added with a bit of a grin. She looked between both Sage and Atticus for a moment or two before giving a defeated sigh. "Yes... if you could, that'd be wonderful," she murmured lightly before gently patting the child's side. "Go with Sage for me," she told him with a small smile. "I'll come to get you in a couple of hours," she then added before waving lightly to Sage. "Thank you. And congratulations on the engagement!" She chirped happily.

Sage rolled his eyes and shook his head with a chuckle. "I'll make sure to remember that," he hummed lightly before shrugging and nodding before holding a hand out for Att to latch onto. "Come on then, buddy," he chirped. "Let's get you to class." He gave Anya a grin in response to her congratulations and bobbed his head in a kind of nod. "I'll see you later," he hummed happily. "I'll definitely require your help with stuff in the near future," he chuckled before heading out the door. He dropped Att off without a problem, and then wandered back to his and Maris room to plop down on the bed next to her and greet her with a quick kiss.

Mari smiled softly when she saw the boy coming in, though she was laying on her side, clearly a little bit tired... they'd need to get to bed sooner or later, but she could certainly start to pattern up the shirts. "Did you get everything?" She asked quietly, glancing at the scissors and the needle and thread on the side of the table. She had a look at the shirts he was carrying, and reached out to take one, laying it on her lap gently. She then cocked her head at him and tugged the end of the shirt he was wearing. "Can I have this?" she asked with a grin. She could grab an older one from the drawers, but this one seemed to fit the best. "Just for a minute," she then added lightly.

Sage hummed lightly and nodded, giving the girl a thumbs up in response to the girls question. He sort of put the pile of clothes in a pile by them and then looked over at the girl. "You want the one I'm wearing," he chuckled. "Seems to me you just want to get my shirt off," he teased lightly before nodding and unbuttoning it and handing it to the girl happily. He really didn't care if he was shirtless or not....it seemed like such a frivolous thing to worry about. Especially with Mari. But whatever...he didn't mind, and he knew she needed a pattern to go off of, so why not.

The girl grinned at him and nodded. "I just want your shirt off, yeah," she giggled before leaning over to press a light kiss to his lips. "As long as I know that I ask and receive, I suppose," she mused lightly. She lined the old shirt up with the new one, and started cutting and sewing... about half an hour later, she had what looked to be a brand-new shirt. She held it up before handing it to the boy. "Try that on for me?" She asked with a cocked head. She'd sinched the sides a little bit, and shortened the bottom of it, too... it should fit just fine.

Sage chuckled lightly at the girl's response...he'd seen the looks she'd given him, and he knew full well she liked the sight of his bare chest....but it still brought a hint of color to his cheeks, even if this was all mostly joking around. "And if I hid underneath a blankets because I was cold, what would you do then, hmm," he joked lightly, reaching over to take the shirt and slip it on. It fit pretty well...he supposed Mari knew how large...or rather small...she needed to make it to fit him well. The other shirt was really just a pattern, he assumed. "I think it's fine," he chirped, giving her a thumbs up. It was still a bit bigger than some of his other shirts, but that was fine....he much preferred it to be a bit big than skin tight, thanks to the tavern.

The girl looked thoughtful for a moment before humming gently. "I'd find a way into those blankets," she hummed after a moment or so. She grinned when the boy said he liked it, but tugged it onto his shoulders and buttoned it up before pinning a couple of the sides up to make sure it wouldn't slip off his shoulders. "Good," she hummed happily. "I'll do the others... whenever I have time and aren't exactly exhausted," she chirped lightly before shaking her head a little bit. "I want to sleep," she complained before leaning forwards to rest her head against his shoulder. She wanted to spend time with him, and she felt awful that she was actually struggling to stay awake, but she really was just exhausted.
