Mav was out cold now,everything hurt as he lay on the wooden floor of the cold empty room his uncle left him in..well crap he thought

Makena sighed and locked her gaze on the ceiling. What was she supposed to do? Her mom wasn't there, so she didn't have much to do except wait.

Maverick forced himself to his feet and groaned as the pain hit him,his legs ached,his arms were sore and his back was stinging like usual. He walked down stairs but looked at nobody,his father ignored him and his uncle never got close to Mav unless it was to inflict pain,he was scared in his own house and of his own family,it was driving him insane

Makena blinked back some tears as she looked around, several doctors were talking, and taking notes. "So, I'm fine?" She asked one of the doctors, tapping the doctor on the back. " Well.. Your blood pressure has gone down, but I'm afraid there's something else going wrong. We need to keep you in for longer, and so a few blood extractions to test for Lung Cancer.. "

(o-o oop ima hope she doesnt have lung cancer,that would pretty much mute her character since she cant go to school or..anything else)

Mav paced quietly into his room and sat on the thin worn out mattress he had had since he was a child,the bed frame was rickety and nothing about this was comfortable but Mav was used to it since it was his whole life essentially

(I'm just gonna scare her a bit lol, then her tests come back negative, but she might have a blood pressure sickness of some sort. So she can't get anxious, and let her heart beat too fast or something.)

Makena sighed as she stared at the wall. What else did she have to do? Her phone was still in her locker, which she had accidentally left open.

Maverick fell asleep quickly and had dreams,painful ones of his mom,her death,how his father became an alcoholic and had to call in his uncle who resented him for "stealing away his life"

Makena sprung up, coming out of a terrible nightmare. Her dad was yelling at her, and her mother was sitting on the couch, with her hands on her head. All of the sudden, the lights cracked, and they turned off. Then, a figure stood in front of her, and yelled louder.

It was all confusing when she woke, but most of it was forgotten within that moment. Makena yawned as a nurse walked in, with a clip board and a pen. "Have a nice rest?" She said, before taking her wrist and pulling out the needle in her vein. Makena winced, squeezing her eyes shut. "Good news, your tests came back negative." The nurse began, pausing a bit as she read the little clip board, "Bad news, you have a sickness called ' High Blood Preasure Sickness '. Your blood preasure cane reach 180/120 or higher and signs of organ damage will be there. Other symptoms include anxiety, nosebleeds, severe headaches, and shortness of breath." The nurse finished, with a emotionless face on.

Makena stared at the nurse, not knowing what to say. Was that why she was so anxious? Would she always have this? What's her life gonna be like now? So many questions flew around her head as the nurse walked out.
