Sage sort of chuckled as Mari flopped over and sort of slowly got ready. He just got up and tossed some clean clothes on that weren't pajamas and pulled his hair back into a messy bun, then chuckled when Mari wrapped her arms around his and practically towed him out of the room. He followed happily though, fully rested by then and honestly quite curious to see the rest of the place. Hopefully, the dining room wouldn't be as crowded as the other day....he figured most people would have ready eaten and left by then, since they were a bit late. Even so, he peered around curiously as they went, turning his head every which way to try and see as much as he could with only one working eye.

Mari grinned up at him and sort of kept her arm looped through his, making sure to stay on his blind side... he'd definately gotten better with the whole thing, but he still had a tendancy to bump into things or get a bit antsy when he was in more crowded places... more so now that he could only actually see out of one eye. But they got some food and sat down at one of the tables, Mari getting giddier the more that went on around her. It wasn't exactly busy, but there were a few people around.. and it wasn't a bad thing.

Sage was rather thankful when Mari moved to his blind side, and while he was looking around curiously he did keep his side pressed against hers. It would just look like they were a happy couple, but really she was leading him around tables and corners and stuff. And also keeping him calm. Luckily, the dining room wasn't very crowded, so he was alright to slide in against the wall, and keep Mari on his blind side, in between him and the other people. He trusted her enough to do that. And the food was delicious, so he dig in happily. He heard another couple ask to sit at the booth there, next to Mari, and he was alright with it, though he couldn't see them, so he sort of just let Mari say yes and do the talking. He'd speak of need be, but for now he just kept quiet. (It might be nice for them to meet some friends their age lol....maybe they find out this other couple lives somewhat near them and has kids the same age? Idk might be nice for them all)

Mari smiled happily to him as they settled down, a bit of a grin crossing her face when some people asked to sit down. She was next to Sage, almost sheilding him in a way... she knew it'd most likely be fine, but she was just careful with him, she supposed. It wasn't super crowded or anything, but it was just habit by now. And, there were sort of kind of strangers stitting right with them. She nodded a yes to him, flashing a white smile, then moving to finish off her breakfast. She would have gotten chatting but... well, she was a bit too giddy to get moving again. (Awh, yeah, that would be sweet! It would be fun to see Sage bumping into one of them on the boat and sort of bringing a friend to Mari lol) (wrong account lol) Edited at January 15, 2024 05:13 PM by Belle

(yeah, maybe they run into them again later) Sage could tell Mari wanted to get moving again...normally she would have started chatting right away. Plus, she was practically vibrating with energy as she shifted around in her seat. He finished his food quickly, then sort of cocked his head to attempt to see if she was done eating, though he soon gave up with a sort of sigh. Though, not a very loud one. "You done," he asked quietly, tilting his head towards her really without thinking....it was a blind person habit, he supposed. He recalled a few other people in the doctor's ward doing the same sort of thing. Of course, they were all old....but still. He was fully aware of the other people near them though....if they were paying attention they'd have caught onto it by then, which he wasn't a huge fan of, but Mari was there, and they were probably leaving soon anyway.

Mari looked over at him, after a moment, and gave a big grin. "Yeah, let's go," she chirped happily. She gave a grin to the other couple before slipping out their seats, sort of looping and arm around Sages arm again before padding away happily. She wanted to show him the cute little attractions... they only had about two hours left until they arrive now anyway.

Sage nodded happily when she mentioned leaving, and kept close to her as she scooted out, so he could tell where the open space was to actually, you know....get out without falling over the booth. It was admittedly a slightly amusing thought. That was, if it wouldn't be so embarrassing. She took his arm right away again though, which was definitely helpful, so he padded along next to her happily, more than curious to see everything she wanted to show him. She definitely seemed excited, so it had to be good. "Where to next," he asked curiously, peering about as best he could as they went.

Mari glanced over at him once they'd left the dining room, and gave a small shrug. "I think we look around the deck fist... it's pretty. And the sun had just finished riding to it'll be pretty," she chirped happily and she tugged him along... she really was just excitable about all of this. They'd never been anywhere so different before... and even though it was early, it was already really warm out by now.

Sage chuckled and nodded excitedly in response to her comment. "It could make a good painting or two I suppose," he mused in a sort of joking manner ...it would obviously be quite pretty, and no doubt the painting would sell. It was the sort of thing lots of people liked....the sun rising over the ocean with the bit of boat on the canvas? Why not. It was prettier than he imagined though, once they got up there, and he couldn't help but wander over to the railing on the edge of the boat to peer out over the waves and dark, swirling water, sort of leaning over the railing as he did so. "The heat is the best part of all this," he mused after a bit of quiet, sort of squinting at the sun over the water, a light chuckle breaking his words.

Mari gave a bit of a grin and nodded. "You know what would be a really nice painting? The porthole in our room into the sea. Little fishes and things," she chirped happily to him. The deck really was pretty now, the sun just rose and a pretty view... there were a few islands here and there too, just coming into view. It really was pretty. She looked over at Sage as he leaned over the rails and gave a small hum, a little but very happy smile across her face as her attention changed from to the scenery to just... him. He was so handsome, and she was so lucky to have him with her. "The warmth is great, hm?" She mused happily.
