Sage had chuckled lightly at her comment and given her a grin. "Oh, but there absolutely was," he noted with amusement. He'd shopped around and then wandered over to her, sliding up beside her as she finished paying and peering over her shoulder. "Whatcha get," he asked curiously, though he was also sort of playing around too. He was curious about it all, still though. "Anywhere else you want to stop," he asked lightly, pulling back enough for her to turn around and slide her arm around his again.

Mari grinned happily to him when she felt him come up behind her. "Just some things for the house and some treats for us... and a shirt for you," she mused lightly. It was thinner what he normally wore and white so it reflected the sun... it was more of a protective thing than anything, but it would be smart if they went out for dinner. "Hmm... there's a stage, but we can go and see that on the way back. There's not much going on," she shrugged with a bit of a chuckle. He was in a playful mood, though, so it might be fun to have a snoop around. "...We can go drop this stuff off qand have a look, though," she chuckled softly.

Sage hummed lightly in response to her comment before shrugging when she mentioned the stage. "We have around an hour or so before we get to the island," he noted with a quick glance at the clock. "I doubt much will be happening on the stage," he admitted with a shrug. "I don't mind checking it out quick though," he added. He really didn't mind what they did...they'd be at their little private island soon enough, and he was just excited for that. He'd rented the honeymoon one, since he figured that would be better than a regular one. Plus, they were still young enough to make it work. He figured it would be nicer anyway. Mari had yet to know that, but she'd find out soon enough, he was sure. It was made for that sort of occassion.

Mari hummed in thought before shrugging and starting to wander back to their room with a small chuckle. "There's nothing planned for now," she told him with a shrug. They could always check it out later, on the way back if they felt like it. "We can do whatever you'd like," she chirped to him before going to drop their things off. "We could just relax until we get there. Literally whatever you'd like," she hummed to him as she sat down on the edge of the bed. It wasn't long until they arrived now anyways... so they could really do whatever until then.

Sage grunted and nodded in repsonse to her comment, then set the bags of stuff down with their luggage, which they'd kept as together as possible. "Staying here is fine," he hummed with a sort of shrug, moving to flop down on his back, next to Mari, keeping his good side on the little window as always, just out of habit. He didn't think the claustrophobia would flare up here, but he really didn't want to take the chance. Not only did it absolutely suck, but he didn't want to ruin any part of this trip.

Mari hummed softly and gave a little nod to him. They'd be arriving soon enough, though. After that it wouldn't take long for them to arrive, she had to admit, it was going to be really nice having somewhere more quiet to stay somewhere where it was just the two of them on half the island. It was sort of scary to think about... but also really, really exciting. She was happy she got to spend that time with Sage, too.

Sage was admittedly rather glad they had a bit of time to just relax there on the boat before they got off and got chaos and everything else. Of course, they'd do whatever they wanted to at the little cabin and Island and everything, but still. It was nice. Plus the bed was rather fun to be on. He really was excited about it all. (no worries!) Mari settled down for a while, until she heard the boat horn go off, which told them to start getting ready to unload. She looked over at Sage with a grin, and sort of moved to press a quick kiss to his lips. They got everything ready, and soon enough they found themselves walking off the dock, their cart coming out before Sage was eventually reunited with Chaos. She smiled happily to the two of them, both looking happy to be together, but she was just so giddy to get going... she didn't know how they were getting there, or what it looked like really... but she was definately excited.

Sage was more than happy to just relax for a while. Admittedly, he sort of drifted in and out of that half asleep stage for a while until he heard the boat horn go off, telling them to pack up and get ready. He was wide awake by then though, and helped Mari pack up the little stuff they'd gotten out before they got out where the cart and chaos were waiting. He felt a goofy grin on his face when the stallion snorted and gave him a look like 'took you long enough'. He patted the horses and hooked him up happily, more than ready to get going. He packed the cart up soon enough, and they moved down the little path for maybe ten miles or so until they arrived at the cabin, which looked quite nice. Even the barn looked expensive.

Mari sort of grinned when Sage got the horse hooked up... there was no doubt in her mind that the animal was looked after, but in all honesty he must have been exhausted... they only really walked to be honest, but Mari was pretty much vibrating in her seat. She grinned over to him when the place came into view, and unloaded all their things while Sage got Chaos settled... She didn't really want to go in without him. It looked pretty though, and by now she was literally bouncing up and down on her toes.
