Sage sort of chuckled in response to her comment, humming happily when she kissed him again. He snorted in amusement in repsonse to her next comment though, and gave her a wide grin. "A date huh," he mused. "I dunno, I think I'll be too busy spoiling my wife," he mused. He would of course take her out, but he could tease her a bit before hand. He wanted it to all be a kind of surprise as to where they were going....he'd been planning it for a while. Well...like two hours, but that was kind of a long time for him. It was a rather amusing thought, really.

Mari looked over ar him and moved to peck his chin with a small chuckle. "Wife!?" She pouted at him sigh a small huff. "I didn't know there was two of us," she complained before moving to rest on her elbows on either side of him. "I don't know if I can share you," she complained to him. She really was just messing around. She was still half asleep too, so she didn't know exactly what she saying, but really was just happy to relax for a while.

Sage sorry of j just chuckled in response to her comment and hummed. "Oh yeah, I have a while secret other family I spend all my time with," he mused. He hadn't really gone back together market or anything since the most recent incident, so he pretty much just started at the house or property around it. It was sorry of why it was so amusing, her supposed. He never went anywhere so there was no way he'd even every meet anyone else, let alone get into a secret relationship. He pecked her lips happily though after a moment. "Maybe if I'm lucky she'll give me some love after for a job well done," he added, really joking around.. of course of something did happen he want complaining

Mari just sort of stared over at him with a small chuckle. "So that's where you go all day," she huffed, sort of moving to press a light kiss to his lips, more of a touch than a kiss but pulled away after a bit. She sort of pouted as though in thought, then cocked her head at his next comment, her chest pressed a bit harder against his as she let out a soft breath. "Hmm..." she huffed for a moment before running her pinky finger down the bridge of the nose. "Well, If you're off with her I can't give you all the love I possibly can," she huffed to him in a more sarcastic tone.

Sage sort of just chuckled in response to her comments, humming lightly in response to her kiss and movement to press against him harder. "Well, I'll just have to leave her and come back completely to you," he mused lightly "I gotta get love fr somebody," he whined in a sort of just playfully dramatic manner, eyes glittering happily. It had been a while since they'd been able to just...messa round. The two of them. And he was definitely going to take full advantage of it for as long as he possibly could. They only had so long....so he was going to make it all last.

The woman looked at him curiously for a moment, a brow slightly raised. "Huh... I dunno. You've not been super friendly with me. Threatening to go and spoil some other woman. Maybe you'll just get no love," she then huffed. She had a very pantomime smile across her face, and her tone was very matching to that. She didn't even know what she was saying or why. It had been so long that it didn't even matter. She was just so glad to be with him for a while... to mess around like kids, she supposed.

Sage sort of gasped in mock offense and gave her a rather dramatic look. "I knew you hated me all along," he cried, though he still had a wide grin plastered across his face. Really, it didn't get much better than this. He was here with Mari, he was warm and comfortable, and they could just joke around and not have any responsibility. He loved the kids of course, but it was nice to just do things like sleep in without having to worry about when they'd be up. And he could make jokes about things that he couldn't joke about with the kids there.....which he found rather amusing, to say the least.

Mari's eyes went wide after a moment and gasped dramatically. "You're the one that's trying to go out with other people!" She joked after a moment, and moved to peck his lips. It really was just stupid messing around... but she found that she kind of liked it. It was a different sort of playfulness that she normally wouldn't reciprocate... but the kids weren't here, and they had no where to be, so they could just sort of mess about for a while.

Sage sort of snorted in response to her comment, giving her a pouty look. "Maybe I'm off with other women because I feel unloved in this relationship," he protested, still obviously joking around. The woman loved him, and he knew that. And he knew nothing would ever change that. So they could joke around, they both knew none of this was true. He glanced up at the sun though, to check the time, and was surprised to see it was already nearly four. "If you want to go, we'll have to get ready soon," he mused, pressing a quick kiss to her headm he didn't make a move to get up though, not yet.

Mari gasped at him after a moment before huffing and rolling over next to him. "Unloved your ass," she huffed as she flopped down, an amused snicker escaping her. "Well, maybe you don't understand the kind of love I have for you," she huffed before moving to look up at the sky. She raised a brow before looking over at him. "Fine," she huffed before getting up and offering him her hand, then moved to peck his nose lightly. "I bought a nice new shirt for you... I'm thinking it'd be good for a night out," she murmured softly to him.
