Sage chuckled in response to her comment and groaned playfully, sort of letting himself lean on her lightly as he figured out where he was at in terms of the tables and chairs around them. "Where to first," he mused as they wandered out of the little restaurant and onto the sidewalks that spanned the square they were in. He sort of craned his head to look around, but he could still only see so much, and Mari was definitely more of a shopper than he was. He did want to get gifts for the family though, and he certainly didn't mind wandering around with her for a while. They had plenty of time, and they could sleep in if they so wanted. So they could stay out late, it didn't matter.

Mari padded around happily before sort of moving to look up at him, really just... happy to have some things to do. Somewhere to be. She moved to press a few light kisses to his cheek as they walked, really just thrilled about everything. That they'd actually gotten to go on a holiday somewhere so nice, and that Sage had been so willing to actually pay for any of it. She had some money saved up to help with the cost of food and things over here, but this was all really Sage. She looked around for a moment. Lots of the shops have closed, but she was still happy to have a look around wherever was still open.

Sage was happy to just wander alongside Mari for a while as they peered around at everything. They'd have to come back when more shops were open probably, but there were plenty still available now. He grinned over at Mari when he felt her tug him in so she could press the kisses to his cheek, humming happily before pointing at a small shop full of small gift like things. "Why don't we take a look in there? Find things for the family," he suggested lightly.

Mari looked over at the little gift shop before grinning up at him and nodding happily. "Yep!" She chirped happily before letting him go and padding off to the place. It really was nice... it was a cute little shop, very touristy but she figured they'd find some nice things for the kids here especially. She picked up a little necklace for Silas, which had a little wooden cross on it. It was just a black rope sort of thing, but he kid wanted nothing more than to be like his dad so she figured he'd like that. She then got Liz a purple and blue plaited bracelet... it wasn't much but it was pretty, and the girl was young so she really would like anything at this point.

Sage nodded happily when the woman seemed to agree with him and tugged him along and into the shop. It wasn't big, but they had a decent amount of things. He couldn't help but chuckle and grab a cheesy doctor sign to put on his old man's desk when he wasn't looking....he might get murdered but oh well. It would be well worth it. He peered over Maris shoulder after a bit, nothing what she'd grabbed for the kids and nodded happily. "See anything for mom," he mused after a moment. Calling the woman mom had become normal by now, which was admittedly rather nice.

Mari glanced up at him after a moment with a grin. "I was thinking some pottery or something cute like that. Maybe some fancy china she might like," she thought to herself as she moved to look at a little cutlery isle. "Or some fancy forks," she chuckled as she picked up a rather cute little set of silver ware. She wanted to get something for Xander... but she wasn't sure what a teenage boy would like now.

Sage hummed lightly in response to her suggestions and nodded. Really, the woman would be happy with anything they brought her, they both knew that....but he did want to find something she'd really enjoy. "She'd like that," he agreed with a sort of shrug, nodding in agreement. "What about your brothers," he mused, sort of looking around. Both of them weren't incredibly picky....they'd like the thought behind the gift more than the item itself most likely, but that was ok. Not that he had my ideas at the moment, but whatever.

Mari grinned in agreement, and eventually picked up a pretty little blue set... she thought her mother would really like that. She looked over at Sage with a raised brow. "Oh, I'm actually not super sure..." she mused lightly. "Maybe we come back out tomorrow and just go shopping," she hummed lightly to him, "I'll grab this now, though," she chirped happily to him. They could come back when there was more open for them. It might just make things a bit easier.

Sage sort of watched Mari ponder the sets they were looking at and grunted in agreement when she picked up the blue set. He shrugged with a nod in response to her comment, chuckling slightly. "They're a bit harder to buy for," he admitted with a note on amusement to his voice. "That's fine for now," he mused lightly before following Mari over to pay for the things they'd collected so far and then wander out of the shop, bags in one hand and his other arm looped around Mari's. It had been a wonderful night, he thought...and Mari seemed thrilled with it all, which he was certainly glad about....but he was admittedly rather tired now, as it had gotten late. So he was more than happy to be heading back to their bed.

Mari nodded with a small hum of agreement before sort of going to press a few light kisses to his lips. "Fine," she murmured happily, sort of padding along next to him. She really just wanted to get back now. This place was absolutely wonderful... and a bit of rest on a nice bed was exciting. She flopped down after a bit, getting changed beforehand, then patted the bed next to her with small chuckle.
