Rin nodded and kissed the injured hand before turning to her aunt "Hello, it's nice to meet you Ma'am" he said with a small wave "thank you for letting me come over" he wasn't the best with communication before and even less so with people he wanted to impress, it was important to Rin that he made a good impression so he was probably going to trip up

her aunt chuckled "now now, no need to be formal, considering someday you may be my nephew-in-" she was cut of as siren covered her mouth "AUNTY!" she yelped her face bright red

Rin acted like he hadn't heard but his cheeks flushed slightly and he started to look anywhere but at the people he was with "so, meeting your aunt before your parents? Bit of an odd move, I know nothing about dating but shouldn't I see them first" he asked changing the subject

siren glanced away at the talk of her parents "i- i'll be upstairs" she mumbled rushing up the stairs to change, her aunt shook her head, "she didnt tell you why im really here did she? her father left when she was just a babe in the crib and her mother, well, shes in the hospital, she has cancer, hence why she hasnt been at the stable the past few days, shes been with her mother while she gets chemo" she frowned "my poor little sister, sirens been distraught since she found out" she murmured softly

He frowned "crap I didn't know" he swore and without another word went after Siren to say sorry, Rin wasn't sure where exactly where she would be so he checked each room until he found her "Siren..." Rin said softly going to sit next to her and put his arm around her shoulders "I'm so sorry"

siren shook her head "its fine! you didnt know its not you fault" she murmured softly her aunt chuckled softly after the boy

Rin just pulled her into a hug not wanting to leave her feeling like this "you want to go back down or stay here for a bit longer?" he asked

she giggled softly "up too you, hades is gon-" she was interupted by the big dog barging into the room knocking into the two and wiggling inbetween then panting and tail wagging as he now got hugs "-na want hugs" she laughed

Rin laughed and ruffled the dog's ears "no problem, I like animals" he was a lot more comfortable around dogs, cats, horses and such compared to people so he stayed relaxed when Hades showed up
