Amethyst looked confused when he seemed to be in a hurry to leave, but asked not a question and followed him quietly until they were back in the woods, where Avian started any form of conversation himself. "Oh, yeah, I can hunt," she corrected shortly, leaving a gap for the silance of the woodlands to fill before starting again, "I'm actually quite good at it I guess, but being good and something doesn't mean you have to like it. So to answer your question, no I do not hunt. But instead bought some steaks so... I suppose thats better to some extent?" She asked with a small flash of her smile. That wasn't a lie. She could hunt, and she was perfectly capable of doing so. However, it wasn't that she didn't like the chsse of the hunt, but more so the having to put a stop to the animals life. Amethyst knew it was the circle of life or whatever but she couldn't bring herself to do it unless she absolutely had to. But now, when there was a village close by and there was an infinite amount of food available to her, there was no point in hunting anything else, not if she could help herself and someone else out.

"I didn't think I could hear any sort of a ruckus so I suppose you managed to go through a few hours without torching anything..." She teased him sheepishly, like she was being careful not to cross a line, "but Avian, you seem... aggravated. If you don't mind me asking, what exactly happened?" Amethyst knew she was treading carefully already, as she didn't want to frustrate him again.

After being in the bust settlement of a village, the silence of the woods felt as though they were being exposed. Like they had less shelter than they had within the village, like anyone could find them with every little sound they had made. The longer she stayed quiet though, the worse it seemed to get. "So did you see anything you liked? Or were you busy exploring?" Amethyst asked after a long silence, trying to rid herself of the awful feeling that was silence.

Amethyst could see how her thoughts on hunting and food could be hard to comprehend, there were many more reasons other than what she had given him, however she couldn't care to list them all. "I suppose that I don't need much- but if I pay for food, then I help out whoever is selling it. Only a little bit, mind." She shrugged. She felt like she needed to defend herself for any of her answers, although there wasn't even an ounce of confrontation. She hadn't always bought food though. In her first 40 years, although she had never liked it she had been very much a hunter, but over the years, as human settlements started popping up more, she had started taking advantage of their own hunting skills and bought their own foods.

As Avian promised he didn't set any fires or cause any trouble, Amethyst couldn't help but smile. "Alright, alright and I believe you. Lets let it stay that way for the next few days, huh? Then you can go back to whatever you do. Speaking of, how exactly fo you manage to get into a position to do such a thing?" She questioned, chuckling under ber breath before rolling her eyes slightly.

Amethyst watched his expression go from cheerful to straight faces in a matter of moments, waiting for him to say the upmost worst of things. He seemed a little cagey but she didn't want to push for more that what she had been offered. "I see." She said simply before examining the area surrounding them. "I'm really not sure, I'm afraid. I know this part of the woods is man made, probably for fire wood in the next few years. All the trees were only small when I first came here, it's actually surprising how fast things have grown. But I don't exactly know what kind of trees they are." She shrugged, "Perhaps birch wood?"

Eventually, they made their way to the little clearing where they had landed in the first place, where she shifted back into the colourless white dragon. She spread her wings and shot up, straight towards the sky, not really caring to straighten up. Once she was above the clouds where the wind was at its absolute strongest, then she let the wind catch onto her wings and flew flat against the clouds. She seemed much, much more comfortable up here, where she didn't even really have to use her wings. She stayed silent for a long time, her expression thoughtful. "Avian, what do you want to do now?" She asked simply, her eyes glued ahead of her.

As soon as Amethyst heard the sready double wing beats behind her, she also heard Avians complaints. "Yes, for a matter of fact, I actually do have to go up. It makes things easier for myself- if thats an issue, your highness, I can always stop." As a dragon, he seemed much more comfortable talking wise. Maybe comfortable wasn't the word she was looking for... More like Confident. Perhaps it was an uneven mix of the two. She couldn't really decide. "And pixie? I thought we dropped that? I'd love to know where you picked it up in the first place." She rolled her eyes with a small smile, almost reflecting the one he had given. "And that hobby of yours, the one I'm keeping you from? You know, the whole burning houses down things? I do apologise that I'm stopping you from doing the one thing you're amazing at- however I'm internally grateful, that you've stopped for a few days, as I'm sure are the local villages and towns." Amethyst noted, putting on a sarcastically old privileged accent before doing little twist in mid air. She thought to herself about what they could possibly do, but no matter how hard she tried, she just couldn't think of anything. "You have a very twisted idea of entertainment, Avian, but I'm afraid I can't think of anything to top it... " She murmured, her features staying rather thoughtful.

She couldn't help but be a little disturbed about his thoughts on revenge and protecting his own. She wouldn't ever think of causing harm to someone on purpose, even if they had caused her a wrond doing. "Avian, you can't go around doing that kind of thing. Do you hear yourself? It doesn't matter how well a population replenishes or how a settlement can put up defences, the thing is, they shouldn't have to."

"Small....and shiny? Like a fairy?" She repeated with a slightly confused laugh. "Yeah, sure, if you say so then I suppose it must be quite true." She offered him an easing eyeroll and an amused smile. "But, you know I have other nicknames...That have more to do with my name." She noted with a gentle laughter, shaking her head slightly. When he tried to make a case of what he was good at, she just nodded along, "Mhm, yep we've established you're quite good at flying! Or maybe at least better than me." She shrugged, "And I'm sure you are good at sleeping- actually, you must have had lots of practice I'm sure." Amethyst mocked him, her wing beats speeding up as the wind started to slow down. "But I suppose you're moderately funny.... Maybe."
