It really depends on where you live what the regulation is. Oh. And they let me know in email that it has increased to 50$ per cat. So yeah I have no idea how we are gonna do this
anesthesia is expensive. And alot of clinics won't use if it the producer is low cost. Because then you need to intubate and all that. The clinic I worked at. Low cost spays/neuters was a injection of sedation and a pulse monitor
They do use anesthesia as the animal has to be fully sedated however they don't necessarily do blood work or provide pain management afterwards. But the animal does have to be fully sedated for those surgeries as it's done by a licensed veterinarian
Oh yeah. It gets expensive. And then if there is complications my local low cost clinic will act it was not their fault and will not fix it. Even if it just needs antibiotics! So I have to take those cats as well to my own vet. Which is absolutely why I am paying over 300 for my small dogs neuter with them.
The other three we had to locate the kittens first and bring them in for socialization and then catch the moms to have fixed and then released back out
