Rider and Horse RP Active

It had to be the busiest time of the year at the local riding school. Local shows and Royal shows were apporaching, Lessons still needed to be taught right up til show day. Everyone seemed stressed out as of recently, making everything so perfect. The Arena seemed to always be booked out with lessons and training, Always a horse and rider in that sandy place.

Away from the madness in one of the paddocks near the property line, A Bay Blanket mare was enjoying her free time. Galloping around and bucking about like she owns the place while a young adult (21) lady sat in one of the corners of the paddock, sitting in a dirt patch where the mare could easily see the girl there so she didn't get run over.

The girl was Ivory Lovedale, She was the daughter of the owners of the riding school though you wouldn't think that of this tall, pale girl with a sleeve (Tattoos) her right arm, who seemed out of place in a poshy school. But She was always busy with trying to get everything sorted for the stable and the riders of her parents, just some usual responsibilities you get but right now was her peace and quiet time for herself and her mare, Di.

Ivory was drawing in a artbook, which she pretty much drew Di, on every page. Enjoying the light cool breeze that was brushing through her long blonde hair. She leaned back on the post and looked but up at her silly mare who was doing zoomies (going crazy) around the whole paddock, a little smirk appeared on her lips as she watched "you better not waste all... of that energy you got miss Di! We still have some training to do later" she laughed as she closed the book and stood up, brushing off the dirt from her black jodphurs.

Liam squinted a bit as he got out of his car. He was getting over a migraine but with show season fast approaching he really didn't want to miss another day at the barn. He hoped maybe some fresh air would help as well. He had barely left his bed yesterday, let alone the house.

He headed over to Rusty's stall to be greeted with a friendly nuzzle from the big chestnut. That put a smile back on his face, but as he said "I missed you too!" even his own voice still seemed almost intolerably loud and Liam had second thoughts on whether he was well enough to ride. Lunging in circles sounded almost worst so he put a halter on and led his horse out for a walk.

He smiled a little as he noticed a horse playing in one of the pastures. He had to admire how lively she was while he himself was far from at his best. Although definitely better than he had been feeling.

(Lol that's okay, I hate when that happens)

Ivory walked over towards the gate where a black leather halter and lead was placed on a post. She picked up the halter and the lead and settled down the artbook on the post as she turned towards Di, who was still having her crazy moment. She gave a sharp and loud whistle towards the mare "com'on you crazy lunatic!" she called out.

As if the mare just snapped out of her moment and settled right down as Ivory called for her, the mare snorted loudly as she caught her own breath. The mare calmly walked along the fenceline towards the gate. Di had noticed another horse with it's rider leaving the barn, her ears perked forward as she let's out a whinny to the other equine.

Ivory rolled her eyes as the mare eventually apporached her "about time miss Di! do you know how important time is missy!!" she pouted, jokingly placing her hands on her hips for a moment before slipping the halter and lead on the mare, quickly glancing down at her smartwatch "is that the time!?! oh dear!" she worried. She had to attend one of her cross country lessons which was very quickly apporaching. She quickly led the mare out of the paddock and headed back towards the barn "Quick Di! We gotta go! I still gotta brush you and tack up man!! I'mma gonna be late and they are going to kill me" she spoke quite rushed. But as she was rushing back she had left her most important possession, Her artbook!

Liam cringed at the sound of a whistle, then as Rusty neighed back to Di. Definitely not what his head needed right now. But of course the girl wasn't to know that and he realised the horse didn't mean any harm either. He watched with slightly narrowed eyes as the young blonde took the mare out of the pasture before slowly continuing their walk. He hesitated as he spotted something on the fence. He headed closer, realising it was a book. He glanced back but the girl was already out of sight, she obviously had been in a hurry.

As Ivory and Di made their way back to the barn, she led Di towards the mare's stall where she clipped the cross tie to Di's halter as she hurried into Di's stall where there was a tack storage cabinet in the corner where she kept all of her things. She grabbed her brushes and quickly returned to Di's side "gotta hurry" she repeated to herself quietly as she gently brushes the mare quickly.

After she was done she hurried back in the stall to grab the mare's tack as she went to return to the mare she got her led caught in the hanging reins. She stumbled but caught her balance on the stall door "Ivory.... This is not the time!" She groaned while she tacked up the mare.

Liam wondered if he should just leave the book alone, figuring the owner would return sooner or later but if the present breeze got any stronger it would most likely get blown from where it was perched. He carefully tucked it under his arm and set off back towards the barn after a pause when turning around made him feel a little woozy. "Guess I shoulda stayed home after all" He sighed.

Ivory still hadn't realised she had left her book out on that paddock post, she was just so worried about getting to her class before she was too late.

Ivory finally got Di all tacked up and ready to go, she returned to the stall one final time grabbing her helmet. Returning back to Do unclipping her from the cross tie. She turned the mare back around and started to lead the mare back out of the barn, fiddling with her helmet "sorry for all this rushing Di... You know what the instructor is like when we are late especially when show season is approaching" she spoke to the mare so gently as they walked to the barn doors which she happen to cross paths with Liam and his horse, Rusty. Di suddenly just stopped and looked towards Liam and Rusty, her ears flicked a little at their presence but she sensed something. Ivory didn't stop with Di but noticed she wasn't following when the reins slipped out of her hands, she looked back at Di then towards the man, who didn't look like he was doing so well.

"Hello, I think this is yours?" Liam said softly, although it still seemed loud to his delicate head. Not thinking totally straight, it took him a moment to click that she probably couldn't take the book when she was about to ride.

Rusty nickered another greeting to the mare and took a step forward. Liam watched to see how the other horse would react. He frowned a little as he saw that the girl had lost grip on the reins.

Ivory kinda just froze in time as she looked down at his hand that was holding her artbook, she kinda just went pale for the moment as a thousand thoughts ran through her mind but she snapped out of it, her icy blue eyes looked up at his. He was definitely not in a good state "yes... Silly me must of forgotten this silly old thing back at the paddock" she joked, trying to hide the fact it was a very important artbook to her.

Di pretty much remained where she stood, she was taught not to move an inch when Ivory was leading her. As if she was in work mode. The mare stretched out her neck to sniff his muzzle, her ears flicked back and forth while she nickered to Rusty.

Ivory looked back and grabbed the reins again "I'm so sorry but do you think I could help you out a little, grab you some aspirin or some water?" She looked back at the man, worried for his health "it's the least I could do in return" she smiled
