Please do not post unless you are listed in the title!TopicPrincessxDragon Tamer Plot In a realm where winged dragons, griffins, and other mythical creatures are real, young Princess Muse A is quite a rebellious young royal. Yet at the only child of the King and Queen she must be the perfect example. And as most things go, she did not want to be. The young princess wanted to be a warrior. Or better yet a dragon tamer, like the ones that trained and tamed the dragons of her kingdom and across the realm. However her parents refuse, keeping her under strict orders to stay far away from dragons and any other mythical creatures.
So rebellious, Muse A sneaks away from her guards one day while her parents are busy. Hidden by a cloak and dressed as a commoner, she manages to roam free for hours. Coming upon Muse B, a lone rouge dragon tamer/trainer. Having caught him just after he tamed a dragon, she approaches, intrigued and amazed. The two lose time talking to each other, only realizing when the sky became dark as the sun disappeared. Quickly, the princess apologizes and retreats home. When she arrives home, she has been caught, and her parents are furious. So they assign more guards to her. Giving her even more rules.
Muse A has become even more furious and chooses to run away. Her guard, Troy Aslan, who has always been more of a father figure to her then her own father, comes along to protect the princess. The two manage to find Muse B again, and Muse A manages to convince him to allow her and Troy to travel with him and to teach her how to tame and train dragons. And along the way, romance may just spark between Muse A and Muse B

Strengths
-Her swordsmanship and bowsmanship. As her parents didn't want her to be completely defenseless. While they also had her take self defense hand-to-hand lessons.

-The Princess is brave and not afraid to go to the front lines, even if her parents forbid her to.
-Willpower, because she is stubborn and wants to be normal and be with the soldiers or dragon tamers
Weaknesses
-Sometimes she is to addicted to trying to get her parents to let her have more free reins, which sometimes blinds her to obvious things.
-Pride, the Princess can be very prideful when talking to her parents and trying to make them see her side of the argument
-Eilika's biggest downfall is her greed. Her greed and want to be free of her title and just be normal.
-Her rebellious streak hurts her a lot, as often Eilika's parents put more guards and rules and punishments on her for trying to sneak out
-Aversion, Eilika has a great fear of snakes, spiders, tight small spaces, and heights and the Princess will do as much as she can to avoid those phobias.

For the most part, 50/50, Eilika is actually pretty good with social skills. As a Princess, future Queen, her parents make sure she is involved in almost every royal matter. Meaning Eilika has learned how to handle the royal court, royal meetings, and other things that involve her to speak and choose her words carefully. While Eilika does like trying to make friends, which is hard to do as a Princess since a lot of people treat her distantly since she is Princess.

"What do you mean, Prince Brandon and his father sent a marriage proposal?!" The Princess asks, glaring at her father. Kalamandat returns Eilika's glare, his black eyes a great contrast to his daughter's electric blue eyes. Even as they darken dark blue with anger, as the King responds. "I mean, that you have a marriage proposal to-" Eilika cuts her father off, barely noting how some of the guards around them shift uncomfortable with the fight. "To a prince who's kingdom is already allied with us, and not to mention. Prince Brandon is almost 30!" Her mother, always the calmer one, cuts in. "He's 28, Eilika." The Princess swings her angry gaze on Queen Natela,"Almost 29! That's pretty much 30!" Kalamandat snaps, his temper flaring,"Your duty as Princess commands you marry-" Once again, as Eilika's temper rises to meet her father's,"My duty as Princess commands me to be Queen as your only heir. Prince Brandon is heir of his kingdom, if I marry him I become Queen of his kingdom not mine." A heartless grin crosses the king's face,"So your finally admitting to being future Queen?" Eilkia pratically spats,"Yes. But that doesn't mean I like it!" Kalamandat only heard the yes, ignoring the rest of what Eilkia said.
"Perhaps that would be the normal circumstance, however within the marriage proposal. Prince Brandon offered to merge our kingdom's together and together you could rule the combined kingdom's." Eilkia glares at her father. Hissing,"Listen closely, Father. I will not marry Prince Brandon, and you will not change that fact!" Before Kalamandat could reply, Eilkia had spun and exited the room. Her royal blue dress sweeping behind her as the doors of the room slammed shut behind her. Kalamandat's temper rises again,"That little b-"
"Kal!" A cool small hand clamps down on the king's arm, forcing the king to meet his wife's stormy blue eyes. As Natela's voice soothes the king,"Calm down. She will come around to reason. Not from us, but perhaps from someone else." Kalamandat takes a deep breath, his temper calming. "Yes. Yes, you are right my dear." Before turning to one of his most trusted knight's. "Knight Aslan, as my most trusted knight, I trust you with this job. Please go after my daughter. See if you can convince her otherwises, make sure she stays safe, and do not let her leave the castle walls." Natela nods in agreement, as her fingers slip from her husband's arm. The knight bows, before sweeping out of the room, headed for the princess' room.
Little to the King and Queen's knowledge, their daughter had already slipped into the stables swiftly tacked her horse and was fleeing. Hidden by a hood which allowed her to easily flee the castle walls. Eilika hunched over Kit's neck as the stallion's powerful muscles propel him forward towards the town. The Princess' wolfdog, Reese, on Kit's heels. The three headed actually towards the forests that lined one side of the town. The Princess looking for an escape.
Hissing under her breath. "How stupid is he to believe I would actually marry some stupid Prince! Especially one who is at least ten years older then me! Combine the kingdoms for all I care, but I will not be the barginning chip!" Thankfully Kit and Reese stayed quiet, one reason being they couldn't talk, another is she was so furious that she would lash out with her words to anybody. |

Sage sat in the tree for a while until he decided to walk along the river bank instead of staying in one spot - he was getting too restless to sit still enough for hunting. He climbed down from the tree and walked along the river bank silently until he saw a small buck grazing. He lifted the bow he had and knocked an arrow, taking a deep breath and steadying his hands before releasing the arrow a moment later. It slammed into the deer's side and it fell, instantly dead. Sage walked over to the deer and took the arrow out and examined it. When he determined he could use it again, he wiped the tip on his pant leg and slid it back into his quiver. He kneeled down and pulled his dagger out, begining to skin the buck. He wanted to work quickly so he wouldn't have to deal with any forest predators. |

Suddenly Kit came to a stop, rearing up and striking at the air. Causing his rider to cling as best she could to the saddle and his mane,"Kit! What's wrong?" Her voice not anger, she never got mad at her animal companions. But the forest was within sight, and something had spooked the powerful stallion. As soon as the stallion's hooves touched the ground, he began to prance around nervous. His tail lifting slightly, and his ears flickering back and forth. Eilkia rubs at the stallion's shoulder, soothing him best she could. "Shhh. It's alright boy."
Slowly the stallion began to calm, but then suddenly he spooked again. Kit throwing his head and skittering back a few paces. While the Princess' wolfdog, Reese was growling and pacing around. Eilkia sighs, what was agitating the two? Finally she got both settled down, and looks up. If she didn't look to her right, and if her animal companions didn't spook. Eilkia would have never seen the looming dragon to the right a good distance away. But the angry Princess had been to caught up in her little spat that she had missed the dragon. Until now.
Even after seeing the dragon tamers and trainers back at the castle with their dragons, Eilkia would never get over the sight of a dragon. She wished she could own her own, but her parents would never allow it. Dragons were majestic creatures, and powerful too. Eilkia admired them and the way that they could just fly. Fly and escape high above the world, above the chaos, above anything and everything that could bother them. Eilika would often sit or stand and watch from afar as the king's dragon tamers worked with dragons in the nearby keep.
Kit and Reese had calmed down, but they were nervous. However Eilika murmurs soothing words to them as she stares up at the dragon. The large red dragon hadn't even noticed them yet, despite Kit and Reese's panic. Which was, of course, a good thing. Eilika was no dragon tamer, and she had no idea if this dragon would get mad just by seeing her. Eilika quietly directs her stallion into the safety of the woods, Reese on his heels. Once within the cover of the forest, Eilika dismounts, venturing just barely far enough to look out and see the dragon. Eilika smiles, she could stand here all day and watch the dragon. |

Sage finished skinning the deer and started to bring the meat back to his cabin. He pulled the corpse up and balanced it on his shoulders and stood up, beginning to walk slowly. He was partway back to his house when something caught his eye. He set the deer down and crept closer, and when he saw the dragon he sucked in a sharp breath and slid around the trees to get a closer look. The dragon was pretty close to the village, and it was agitated. He had heard a horse earlier, maybe a rider had come by and stirred it up. Sage watched the dragon for a moment and then reached down and purposely grabbed a stick and snapped it in his hand, watching the dragons reaction closely. The dragon jerked it's head towards him with a hiss, and started to run in his direction. When it was close, Sage stepped to the side calmly, knowing the dragon was large and would take a moment to turn. The dragon swept its tail at Sage as it turned, and he ducked before lunging up and running underneath the dragon, running a hand along it's side lightly and speaking in his tribal tongue to it. After more of an exchange of powers, the dragon had calmed down quite a bit and allowed Sage to touch it's head. Sage stroked it for a minute before growling and jerking his head in a way that meant 'come'. He started to walk away from the village, and the dragon followed calmly. |
