ooh yes, that transitions always hard! I started with a mouse, now I use a wacom tablet with my laptop :D

I love it! One thing I reccomend is picking your light source(I like to do them from above like natural sunlight) and then figure out where all the big shadows will be :D
for example, I just sketched out in blue where big highlights would be, red is shadows :3

I do hair with a pressure sensitve pencil-ish brush at about 85% opacity, starting with the lines and do the base under it. I fin it easier than doing the base first :3

I lilove how you do the manes and tails! Mine look awkward still, haven't figured out how I want to smooth out the hair lines or leave them out all together

Copperhill Farm

A Premier Hunter Jumper Equestrian Center

Copperhill Farm is an equestrian 1x1 roleplay between Murderous Manor & Boulder Creek, exploring the everyday challenges of riding and working with horses. The main focus is on the English jumping disciplines - mainly the Hunter and Jumper divisions. Horsemanship and sportsmanship are also important qualities. The roleplay will be from the Human point of view in third person while the horses express themselves through body language and realistic equine behavior.

Located in the foothills of North Carolina, CHF has everything a horse and rider could want. A twenty-four stall center-aisle barn with large box stalls, each with attached paddocks, and a wide aisle-way. With four cross-tie bays for grooming, tacking, and bathing; there's also covered outdoor wash racks next to the equipment storage area. Facing the grooming bays are the Barn Office, the Feed Room, and Tack Room. There's a full bathroom with shower and half bathroom in the side aisle-way.

CHF has plenty of turnout areas - 16 individual sand paddocks, 12 grass paddocks, and two pastures. Each turnout has a water trough and spacious three-sided shelter. The indoor is 150'x300' with large windows lining the sides and skylights overhead. The covered arena is 130'x200' with half walls. A 300'x300' sand arena is the main riding ring for all fair weather riding. A low simple pole fencing separates the large arena into two rings. Bleachers and booths line the arenas for shows held at Copperhill Farm. A storage shed next to the outdoor ring holds equipment frequently used such as poles, jump standards, and fillers.

CHF also has a six horse free motion horse walker and a 90' round pen. A hacking track runs the entire perimeter fence and is a great place for warming up, cooling down, and conditioning sets.

By the hay and shavings shed, two covered bays are set aside for Farriers, Vets, and other service providers who prefer space away from the hustle and bustle of the stable. The nearby equipment building houses the two tractors, the two UTV with dump bed, golf cart, ATV, small trailers, and drags. There's also the farm truck, the semi-truck for hauling, large trailer, gooseneck, and bumper pull horse trailers. There's plenty of storage for extra barn equipment and a workshop.

Nearby is a quiet main street with a bookstore/coffee shop, grocery store, diner, nice restaurant, tack shop. A university is within a 45-minute drive and has a great veterinary hospital. The local veterinary practice has both small and large animals vets. CHF has a great relationship with two farriers in the area who are experienced with jumper horses as well as orthopedic shoeing. A body-worker does amazing therapeutic work for the horses with services including chiropractic, massage therapy, PEMF, and acupuncture.

The closest equestrian center is a thirty minute trailer ride and hosts schooling and B-rated shows. In just an hours drive is the nearest show facility for A rated hunter/jumper shows.

Copperhill Farm is home to a couple of top ranked hunter/jumper trainers. Occasionally they host a clinic bringing in world renown equestrians for the riders to learn from. Take lessons from our wonderful riding instructors who are prepared to teach beginners up to those riding in rated shows.

Whether you bring your own horse or wishing to use a CHF lesson or lease horse, everyone in lessons can utilize a CHF horse to ride - find what it takes to bring up a young horse or the precision of a proven schoolmaster.

Join the show team, ride under the supervision of top trainers, and have access to the best horses.

Follow the journey of the riders as they prepare for the first show of the season. They've been working hard over the winter and ready to show their stuff at Oak Hollow's Schooling Show. Some riders are entering the show ring for the first time, or bringing a young horse to their first show, and for some this is just a warm up for the upcoming rated show series.

Whether you're an amateur enjoying the ride or a professional building a name - Copperhill Farm is for you!
