Frynn tilted her head slightly, flinching when thoughts started to filter in again. Huh. The boy thought she, of all people, was a good rider? Weird. Buuut then his mind went blank, which was always frustrating- some quieter humans had the ability to just... not think about anything. It was semi scary. In any case, she didn't care. After a while Frynn slowed Katana down and decided to go on a trail ride, angling towards the woods. They ride slowly outward while her mind darted around different things. When she was far into the woods, after glancing around to make sure nobody was there, she lifted a hand and formed an orb of fire, swiveling the burning ball. Frynn studied it carefully before sighing. She was different. But fireballs? Wow. She tossed it in the air before catching it and making it disappear, then mentally asked Katana how she was doing. She could communicate simple things with the horse. +good good trail ride fun Me hyper that other mare was beautiful and that boy was cuuute. You should try going after someone someday+ the mare thought, making Frynn roll her eyes.

Adrien thoughts began to come back, -Hey girl, jumping more or not?- He thought to Phantom. She seemed not to really know, halting for a moment and thinking. Adrien let her, as he stayed on, his own mind making few thoughts. He blinked and flipped his shadow power on, no one was around. IF anyone was listening to his mind, they would hear a loud static noise. Blocking them out. Of course, Adrien had no idea if anyone could read his mind. And really didn't care to find out. Then he heard, (So he has polyglot, which allows him to speak to Phantom because neighing is techinacally a language lol.) =I'm done for now. Can we go for a walk?= He smiled and nodded. "Sure." He muttered, turning her to walk down a trail, away from the one the girl had taken. Phanto had always talked like that. Normal sentences. SHe was pretty smart, and he talked to her a lot. He started rambling about how fun this would be, and Phantom listened, walking along the trail peacefully. - (Sorry if ths makes no sense!) Edited at March 14, 2024 06:00 PM by Oakwood Barn

(It's fine!) +++ Frynn winced as muffled thoughts from animals and humans everywhere shot into her head. She finally closed her eyes and put up a mental wall, patting Katana's neck. The mare snorted. +you are stubborn. Fine, have it your way. Even when cute boys start to like you+ the mare's thoughts echoed in Frynn's head. "Sh sh shhhh! Stop! He won't notice me!" She whined, shaking her head and flopping back on Katana's back ans staring at the bright blue sky. Suddenly the mare popped up on her hind legs and squealed. Frynn let out a small shriek and slid off the horses back, landing in.. water. She came up sputtering, her eyes wide. "Katana! Why!?" She berated, standing and squeezing out her shirt that now clung tight to her slim frame. +Ha! You should see how frazzled you look. C'mon, have some fun!+ The mare whinnied, making Frynn laugh. "Fine! Have this!" She chuckled, splashing the Mare. Soon a water fight broke out until they were both drenched, out of breath, and amused. +++ (Can Adrian start liking Frynn first?) (I guess, but definetly later on. He doesn't take a liking to ANYONE easily lol.) - Adrien and Phantom walked through the winding woods. Weaving through trees, wading through streams. By the time tey got the a small clearing, Adrien didn't know where he was. And neither did Phantom.Adrien looked aound, confused. "Where are we?" He thought aloud, looking around once more at the trees and brush surrounding the spot. He sighed and dismounted, hopping off of Phantom's slick back. She looked around as well before pawing at the ground anxiously. Adrien patted her gently. "Shhh girl, it's okay. We'll get back..." He muttered, taking a deep breaths. He rubbed his head and was then promptly soaked in water. He blinked as Phantom jolted back. "The hell?" He says aloud, lookingat his hand, where a small water bubble was floating. He stared at it a moment longer before throwing it, it splashed into a nearby tree and he grimaced. "Another one to keep track of..." He muttered, walking over to Phantom slowly and taking her reins. He looked back the way he came an dup at the sky, the sun was beginning to set, tinting the sky's an array of oranges and pinks. He sighed and mounted up onto Phantom's back. "Let's go girl..." He muttered to her. =Please. I don't like it here. And water now to? that'll be helpful for not having to pay for water or bring water at shows.= She whinned back, beginning to walk back the path they came. Sun setting below the horizon and the sky turning dark quickly.

(That's fine!) +++ After almost an hour they were both exhausted, so Frynn had laid down in the warm grass and stared up at the sky. A second later she jolted up with a yelp as the grass around her started on fire. "Aww c'mon!" She growled, stepping into the water as her body was engulfed in flames... then they quickly burned out. That ability was newer, so she was still getting control of it. Now her clothes were singed and soaked. Perfect way to end the day. Katana nickered, a horse version of a laugh, and Frynn rolled her eyes. "I wouldn't be laughing if you were me." She grumbled under her breath, snorting a little before standing and brushing off her clothing. She quickly mounted Katana and urged the mare back towards the barn, until they were flying in a gallop to streak across the fields towards the barn.

Adrien was still mounted on Phantoms back as they walked through the forest, the sun had long set below the horizon by now and he was getting a bit cold. He shivered slightly, continuing to have Phantom walk back. They swirved through trees and brush, following the street. Phantom whinnied in relief as the broke out of the forest, the barns lights shining in front of them. Adrien sighed in relief, matching his mares tone. He patted her neck. "Good girl...." He muttered, rubbing her neck. =Thank goodness.= Phantom replied with a snort, swishing her tail. Adrien vh8ckled lightly. "Yeah yeah. Let's go." He said, lightly clicking to her again as she began to walk. The got to the barn and Adrien dismounted, shivering from the cold and being soaked to the core. But he still made sure Phantom was alright, unpacking her, feeding her, watering her. He was going to stay with Phantom for a bit when she nudged him away. =No. You need sleep and a shower. Go. Ill be okay.= she snorted once again, pawing at the ground. He grumbled, waving his mare off. He was glad no one was around- that would be awkward. He then nodded. "Fine." He sighed, latching Phantoms stall, and slipping her one last sugar cube before walking off toward the cabins(?) He got to his cabin, fairly quickly, having long legs was good for some things he supposed. He rifled through his pockets, pulling out his key as he shoved it in the lock and turned, opening the door. He walked inside, looking around. His bags were already on the bed, as he had put them their earlier. The bedroom was pretty large, and the bed looks really comfortable- shower first. He walked to the bathroom, slipping out of his clothes and stepping in the shower. Washing his body and hair, hey no one likes greasy hair. The warm water ran over his body, rinsing away his chill. He soon got out of the shower, walking to his bedroom. He pulled on some shorts, not bothering for a shirt as he flopped in to bed, pushing his backpack off the sheets with a thud and pulling the covers over his body, curling up and closing his eyes. He drifted to sleep quickly.
