Lieutenant Dwyer Glory had started to search for her missing dagger before Anubis could respond when she heard a thunk into the trunk of a nearby tree. Acting without thinking, she grabbed at the tendrils of darkness and threw them down, plunging them into total darkness as she looked around for who threw it, following the angle of the knife to find its owner. Spotting a colorful-haired first year, she called out "You there, did you enjoy the show? I think you've dropped something." Glory released her grip on the darkness, feeling her control over it slipping away as exhaustion slid in. She made her way to the knife and yanked it out of the wood, tossing it at the feet of the younger student. "Careful with that, it's rather sharp." She quipped.

General Anubis +++ Leo slowly let his smile grow as Glory totally believed he was actually done. "Patience is an important virtue in battle, as if you rush in headfirst you can make a fatal mistake." He said sweetly, spinning his ax and he jumped forward and made a clean slice across her neck. It drew blood, but was not deep enough to be critical. "Believeing the enemy is also a silly idea." He smacked the back of her knees with his ax, then shoved her shoulder back. "And being hesitant is all part of the game." Lastly he kneeled on her neck, not putting his full weight on, but enough to leave a bruise, and enough to make it extremely hard to breathe. He knew how much pressure would cut off her airflow, however, and he just put on the amount before that. "Don't underestimate your superiors, Glory Dwyer." He smirked, letting the ax blade rest on her stomach.

Lieutenant Dwyer Glory was definitely not expecting the surprise attack, and a grim smile grew across her face as Anubis pressed his weight onto her throat. She tried to draw a breath slowly, carefully. The cut across her neck oozed blood as he pressed, and she was certain it would reach the collar of her tunic and stain it. "That's not very ladylike of you, ma'am. Perhaps you need a refresher course on your manners. However, this time, I admit defeat. You're pretty good, and I'd appreciate it if you got off of me before I shock you again." She whispered, unable to muster anything louder.

General Anubis +++ The general smiled, looking just the slightest bit smug for a moment. "Sorry for the cut, but I had to prove a point." He said cheerily, standing up quickly as to avoid being zapped again. It didn't feel very good the last two times, so he decided it would be a bad idea to retry it. "I'm glad we could entertain each other for a little while. Good fight?" Leo grinned widely, his red hair standing up even more than usual as he stuck out his hand to help her up. "It was a pleasure to work with you. And, also, this is yours." He fished a slightly bloody dagger out of a pocket, giving it back to her. Overall, Anubis had gotten many more bad bruises than wounds, but with one wild dagger throw Glory had managed to slice it all the way through the vest, shirt, and into his chest. Well, really, the meat and muscle on his chest, so it hurt to breathe a little. However, he was pleased with how this had gone.

Lieutenant Dwyer Glory propped herself up on her elbows and smiled at Anubis, "No hard feelings, I should've known you'd pull something like that." Glory accepted his hand, allowing him to help her up before taking the dagger, wiping the blade on her pants before clipping it back into place on her belt. She looked him up and down, carefully looking for any major injuries before her eyes settled on the wound in his chest, drawing in a sharp breath as she spotted it. Glory shifted her gaze back to his eyes and said, "Well, looks like we really are even. Want some help cleaning that up?" Feeling a little guilty for her impeccable aim for once.

General Anubis +++ Leo chuckled lightly. "Hey, I couldn't just let my pride die with giving up. If you would've known me any better, you would've known that." He winked, helping her up before stepping back, his eyes flitting to the first years. It was a good thing to show them to help your opponent after a friendly battle. He glanced back at Glory, who only had a couple small scratches... mostly... save for the one on her neck, which was a little bigger, and one on her leg, which he had gone a little too deep on. ×Whoops× he mentally winced. He only really had one big wound, the one on his chest, which had stained his flannel red and was making its way to his vest, slowly staining that red as well as the blood leaked out. Other than that, it was just the two bruises from the spear and her elbow. Both were going to hurt for a while. "Naw, it'll hopefully clot in a couple minutes. If not, I can treat it. I have a feeling your answer will sound much the same, but do you need any help with your wounds?" He inquired, stepping away and bending down to pick up his precious sword. Since a part of his shirt was already slightly tattered, he ripped it off the rest of the way, just from the very bottom, and gently wiped the blade clean. Leo always took good care of his weapons, especially after a fight. His golden eyes then returned to Glory as he waited for an answer.
