(Well why not? xD That's what I want after I die lmao
And there'd preferably be some form of party poppers so Glory goes out with a bang xD)
Lieutenant Dwyer
"Does NOT count, so I won't be doing any basking," Glory retorted. Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious was a big word too, but equally made up, so it didn't count either. MOST big-ass words were made up to begin with. She burst out laughing at his reaction, she'd done pretty well to say it with some amount of seriousness, but it was just too damn funny. "Well good. I almost want me to die just so you get to see it," She said, very much joking though. "Thanks. But don't you dare forget that - medium rare, not well done, not rare." Glory figured that well done would be an overstatement of how her life had been so far, and rare just wasn't all that appealing to her. "Still not how that works," She huffed. She scowled at his snicker and said, "Don't laugh at me or I'll whack you again." Not entirely bluffing, she'd been told once - and only once - in her childhood that she hit like a girl. The offender went home with a broken arm, courtesy of Glory. "Both, though the only important thing you've done is round up my froggies," She said with a hint of pride. She was still very pleased with how that whole thing had played out. "Well I did say you earned the nickname Prince Charming," She grumbled. "No no no, I'm dragging you to Scotland someday whether you like it or not." Actually, that did sound like a fun trip. If neither of them died, maybe she would take him to Scotland. "I ALWAYS add in extra- gotta give 110%," She retorted. She raised an eyebrow at his German word and asked, "Do I want to know what that means?" It wasn't an insult at least, or she'd've known it. She gave him a look that said, 'You sure about that?', but didn't speak. His somewhat drug-induced proclamation stated otherwise. "Oh yes, I outdid myself that day," She lilted. There was no way he'd EVER be able to top that. "I'm pretty sure I can," She said, grinning slyly. "Not that, this," She said, a neon pink fascinator- like the ones you'd see at horse races - appearing on his head. At the town, she frowned slightly at him and said, "Why would I know where to go? Besides, you're the one that needs to eat. I'm just here for the company."

"Does TOO count." Leo answered stoutly. It totally counted, and the mere fact he had spoken the word correctly was fascinating. As she burst out laughing, his amused grin only grew wider. "Don't actually die, comprendae? Maybe we should do a test run with one of the Corrupted. That way we both get to witness it." He offered the most amazing solution ever. "Well done would not work, and no one likes rare. So I guess I understand." He answered teasingly. "Still yes how it works." He chirped, then let out a couple more strangled laughs, not trying very hard to hide them. "I'll consider it a sign of your appreciation." He chuckled. However much he didn't appreciate being whacked, he would survive a couple more for the sake of some laughter. "I've done many important things, including saving this school once or twice." He sniffed haughtily. It had been slightly annoying to be yelled at because he kept missing frogs. It wasn't his fault they hid in the most insane places! "What was that? I don't think I heard you correctly. Was that a compliment?" Leo smirked. "If so, music to my ears." He added with a wider smile. "I wouldn't mind going to Scotland... it'd give me a chance to learn some more words, and maybe begin to understand your Scottish insults." He snorted. "Of course, extra trauma is always the better way to go." Leo agreed, then chuckled. "It's not that bad, chill out. I've called you it before, for one, and I'm not inclined to tell you what it means, for two." He grinned. "Im pretty sure you can't. Dream on." He scoffed, then glared at her As she snapped an illusion over his head. "I will scatter your medium rare body parts all over the ground sooner than you imagined if you don't get that illusion to stop." He growled with a huff, then snorted quietly. "Of course, the company. That totally seems like a Glory thing to do." He opened the door to the diner, waiting for her to go inside, on instinct, really, before following. And, on a mind check, making sure he had his wallet, which he thankfully did. After ordering, he went to the normal table that was wreathed in more shadows than the rest, and not in bright sunlight. Leo hated bright sunlight. Plus, Glory might appreciate it.

"Does not," She said firmly. "Only one? C'mon, where's the fun in that? We ought to fire their bodies out of cannons!" She said. Now THAT would be quite the spectacle, though Leo's suggestion was a pretty good one. Then nobody even the slightest bit important had to die. "Good. I don't like my meat to still have bruises where the jockey was whipping it, and I certainly don't want to be equally half-cooked," She replied. That was honestly one of her favorite non-insulting phrases, just because of what it implies. "No. It. Doesn't," She said sternly, frowning. His math was so bass-ackwards, he was almost definitely just being stupid on purpose. "Sure, appreciation- in Normal-Speak. More like 'lack of annoyance' in Glory-Speak," She said with a snort. Somehow she'd gotten her own language, though she wasn't complaining. "Yeah, saving it from Frogmageddon," She retorted. That was a damn good word, if she does say so herself. "No, it was a reverse insult," She said half-sarcastically. Technically, that's exactly what a compliment is. "Orrrr... you just hang out with me and I teach you all that, ya eejit," Glory lilted. "Exactly, 110% all the time." That was only good if you were the one dishing out the trauma though, not the receiver of it. "No, you called me schön before, not schatz," She corrected, though not mentioning she knew what schön meant. That'd REALLY kill his braincells. "Are you sure I can't, or are you hoping I won't?" She asked slyly. She laughed at his threat, knowing full well he wouldn't carry it out, but let the illusion disappear nonetheless. "Yeah, you're nice company," She said honestly. "Thanks, ionmhainn," She said at the diner as Leo opened the door. 'Ionmhainn' meaning 'dear' in Scots Gaelic. Chivalry's not dead, she thought with a small smile. After they'd ordered, Glory followed him to a table a bit darker than the rest, less sunlight. She sat down across from him, thankful for the shade. Light was quite literally the bane of her existence, which Leo knew.

"Fire their bodies out of cannons." Leo repeated. He stayed silent for a couple seconds, his face stoic. "You just seem to make every idea better. If only I had you when I put the plan Gastastrophie into action." He grinned slyly, his look indicating it was an epic time. He snorted in amusement at her words, though his mind was still slightly fixed on the Gastastrophie. It was one of the best pranks he had ever played, mostly because he got out of school for 2 weeks and never got caught. "Yes it does." He answered sweetly, snickering at her frown. It was totally working. "But still appreciation in normal speak, which is a win!" Leo chirped happily, chuckling quietly afterwards. Of course, she got her own language. Technically he had his own, but he shared it with everyone else in the south. Talking so garbled no one could understand a damn thing they were saying. "FROGMAGEDDON- I LOVE IT! You are officially named the name master- how the heck do you come up with stuff like that?" He exclaimed with a joking tone, though it was true. That was an AWESOME name. Anyone could see that. "A reserve insult it is. I'm honored to have gotten one." He grinned. "Calling me an idiot in a different language is still offensive." He huffed, but the twinkle in his eyes told a different story. "Fine, teach me. Scottish insults and all. Enlighten me, madam." He chuckled, then snorted. He wondered if those two poor souls she tortured were still alive. If so, he almost felt bad for them. "I have called you Schatz before in engli-" He stopped. Damn it. She knew. He could tell by her expression, the slight hint of her emotions he could feel, and the fact she remembered. If it was a random German word she didn't understand, then she wouldn't have remembered it down to the pronunciation- which she got perfectly. He slowly winced, blaming his many wounds. "It's true, but I was tired." He finally mumbled, then looked at her with a totally unconvinced gaze. "I'm sure you can't. Around 26 years of this can't be fixed with a couple words. Easy 25 bucks." At this, he gestured to himself, at just.. everything. As she gave another reverse insult, his eyebrows twitched up slightly. Was she delusional or just feeling really sappy? "If you're going to finally admit I'm amazing at responding to jokes with my own, then I will happily accept that reverse insult." He grinned, though tilted his head at the Gaelic word, really hoping it wasn't a horrible insult and he just didn't know. "Do I want to know what that means?" He asked with a joking smile. Glad to be out of the bright sunlight, he was immediately wondering how horrible it would be to NOT have sunlight. MOSTLY because of tanning. If he wasn't tan... eugh. As a redhead, his normal complexion could easily pass as a vampire, and that did NOT help or go with anything in his personality. He detested his Natural skin color, and was rather thankful for the tanning, at very least. Even though it kind of sucked to get, at this point, he had tanned enough that his arms and neck were just permanently brown. Really, most of his upper torso. Random thoughts, those were his speciality. "Does the sun actually hurt you? With your shadows and illusions and whatever other terrifying hidden powers you have, does it affect you differently than other people?" He inquired, randomly curious.

"I do, don't I?" She said, then looked at him curiously as he offered no explanation and asked, "What was the Gatastrophie?" Totally wouldn't top the frogs, mostly because they were the gift that kept on giving. There was no way anything could ever top Frogmageddon. "Does NOT," She huffed, raising a hand, threatening to whack him again. She dropped her hand as he spoke, however, as whacks were reserved only for when he deserved it. "Fine," She relented. "Appreciation." Maybe along with Gaelic she'd teach him Glory-Speak, which consisted of excellent insults, subtle compliments, and the occasional double entendre. Or, knowing Leo, he'd end up deciphering Glory-Speak on his own. "It's the side effect of the other stuff I come up with," She replied, then chuckled. "Hey, how come you get to name the Name Master?" Actually, she was fine with that title. Could definitely be way worse. "Good, that's all I give," She said. Reverse insult was a much better way to describe them. Or her occasional backhanded compliment. "Alright then. You can say 'Wheesht' to tell someone to shut up," She said, pronouncing it like 'hweesht', with a soft 'h' sound at the beginning. Glory knew of some pretty bad ones, but telling someone to shut up would likely prove the most useful for the time being. She racked her brain for a moment before guessing, "Oh, it's 'sweetheart', isn't it?" Sometimes paying too much attention to everything all the time was useful. "Aww, you're sweet," She said, momentarily docile before her natural joking nature came back. She grinned slyly and said, "Who ever said words would be my choice of weapon? Easy 25 bucks for ME." Granted, she never said she'd fix anything, just that she'd kill his braincells. "No, but I will admit that you're good at responding to problems with jokes," She retorted, though sometimes comic relief was necessary in stressful situations. "Umm, sure. Just means 'dear'," Glory answered. Well, she could've called him something much worse, and then had to either answer or avoid his question. Though worse in what direction, she wasn't sure. She tilted her head at his question and thought for a moment before answering. "Yeah, actually. I can't really see all that well on sunny days," She said, "Most bright lights leave that annoying afterimage thing - y'know, when it feels like it's burned into your retinas? - but REALLY bad. Like, to the point I'm almost blind for a little while." Glory'd learned that there were downsides to night vision, namely a severe sensitivity to light. It wouldn't be too big of a problem back in Scotland, with constant overcast and foggy days, but summers just got too bright here for her liking. It wasn't very advantageous to be half-blind in the middle of a fight because some clouds moved.

"The Gastastrophie was an amazing event. Not as amazing as Frogmageddon, but still awesome. I went out and spent 4 weeks gathering a specific plants juice... mind you, this was when I had just joined the school and was still looking for trouble.. and then I put it into the food at the cafeteria. However, only the food the adults eat... since the students and adults ate separately, it wasn't hard. They all got mild stomach cramps and diarrhea for two weeks, and every student on the campus got to do whatever they wanted for two weeks. No one knew who it was, and I bet no one knows to this day, apart from you. It was one of my better pranks." Leo grinned. "I spent the entire two weeks planning more pranks, which I carried out later. There were a couple more instances with poisonous plants... I know a lot about them because of my fascination of using them to make everyone else miserable." He finished with a chuckle. "Does toooo." He whispered in a sing song voice, quite enjoying her grouchy look. His smirk grew even wider as she agreed to call it appreciation. Even if it was something else in her language, it still translated to that, sooo.. it was that. "Because I DO. You're not allowed to name yourself. You must admit, though... for it being a name I made up, the Gastastrophie is a pretty great name." He looked extremely proud of it, MOSTLY because of how he pulled it off. Nowadays, he hated planning, but back when he boiled up some great pranks... he spent 5 weeks just getting everything he needed for the Gastastrophie. That's more than a MONTH. To him, it was forever. Now, a reverse insult was just a compliment in a bad disguise, but he would roll with her ways of making it seem not as nice. "H-what now? Wheesht-" even he could tell he pronounced it wrong. "Wheesht. German is so much easier." He snorted, but on the third time, he sort of got it. As she .. far too easily guessed the word, he nodded. "So you DO pay attention to the words I speak. Impressive." He stated with the slightest bit of sarcasm. It was a normal way of speaking to people in the south... it's not like you could say 'hey you' and they rarely used names. Pff, names would be helpful, why would they ever want to do that? He needed to be more hidden with his German compliments from now on. He could tell the momentary softness of Glory's expression would last about as long as... a millisecond, apparently. It was gone as soon as the thought entered his mind. "Wull- now I'm a little worried. No torturing- that won't help." Leo snorted, though still confident in the fact that he would win. Honestly, he had so many emotional scars, he didn't think it was possible to dig through the shell and slip into the pudding like underside. A big softie would describe him at times. Or a teddy bear. If only he wasn't a teddy bear stabbed so many times by real claws that he looked like a pincushion of danger. "Hey, that works! Still admitting I'm good at something, which is still a win." He grinned triumphantly, then made a mental note of what it meant. "I was just joking, but thanks for the information, I'll attempt to remember that. Which might be hard, as sometimes I walk into a room knowing exactly what I want, pass through the doorway, and have already forgotten." He snorted quietly. It was true. Short term memory loss in the worst of times. As she began to answer his question, he tilted his head slightly. "Hm. It makes sense. Kiiiiind of like if someone has really strong emotions and I'm way too close to them- it gets overwhelming." He mused. "Going blind at random times doesn't sound like fun. Makes me glad I just have the normal human sensitive eyes." He chuckled lightly. When the meager amount of food came, of course he had another random thought- he was always slightly hungry, but when he did get food, he barely ate anything at all. He didn't think he had ever experienced being full in his life. Then again, he always ate far and few in between, and the hunger was just annoying. After finished the meal- if it could be called that... it took about 7 seconds, eating normally- he paid (no running away without paying this time xD) and was already thinking about the best route home, wondering if the lake was worth it or if he'd make it that far, and wondering if walking made her shoulder hurt. Hey, it could happen. A lot of the time, his brain was like 35 tracks, all with trains running at full speed towards each other while the conductors screamed. Chaotic.

Glory listened with awe as he described the Gastastophie, then said, "Wow. I was so sure that wouldn't come anywhere CLOSE to Frogmageddon, but damn that's a good one. Evil..." The fact that he was able to get into the kitchen and poison the food was impressive enough, but that he never got caught made it all the better. Maybe she'd underestimated him, though she definitely wouldn't admit that. Frogmageddon was still better, both in name and effect. Fast acting, long lasting. "Does. Not," She growled dangerously. He was totally just being stupid, but even so, Glory wasn't one to back down from, well, anything. "Yes I am! I already have," She retorted. Technically true, since her given name was actually Gloria, though it never really felt right. Since 'Glory' was obviously way cooler and better fitting, that's what she went by. "Not bad," She agreed, though translated to Normal-Speak, it was more like 'Pretty good.' She smiled at his valiant attempt at her language, and said, "Not bad. Hey, I never said it was easy." He actually got it better than most, but it wasn't like Glory'd admit that. "I do. You never know when people might drop the smallest morsel of information," She replied. It was very important to always be listening for the smallest little detail when interrogating someone that they might let slip, and Glory couldn't seem to shake the habit. Another tactic she used was just to repeat what someone said back to them, but in the form of a question, like, "I went to the park the other day." 'You went to the park?' "Yeah, the one on insert street names." People always felt the need to provide more information than necessary when asked like that. "I didn't say that, either," She retorted. She already knew that torturing wouldn't do diddlysquat, plus there was no way her consience would let her. "It's a win about as good as a participation award," She said with a snort. She shrugged and said, "Ask and you shall recieve." Ask for the meaning of a word, you got it. Ask for a whacking, you got that too. "Well, you can wallop them real good and knock 'em out, can't do that to the sun," She countered, though his issue didn't sound any better. "No, it's not. Especially when you need to see." As the food arrived, Glory learned that Leo at just about as quickly as her, which was almost amusing. Whenever she did eat, she ate like a starved animal, and often used her hands.

(Guys, you better be proud of me. This took a lot of my emotional energy *sobs*
I'm going again tomorrow and should be able to post again later today before i go. Most likely back in 2 days.)
General Wallis
Flash was just about to finish work for the day when he got an urgent message from a reliable source of his. As he read the contents of the dossier his brain started to fire up, a feeling he was familiar with. Flash called for a messenger. 'Hello,' Flash told the first year. 'I need you to find me three scout teams.' Scout teams consisted one one pair. He started to think strategy, how he could destroy these small corrupted camps near Libobon. 'Hmm,' he uttered. As he was thinking the scout teams approached. As they saluted he gave them their orders. He showed them the contents of the dossier. 'I need you lot to confirm this,' Flash ordered. 'I want eye witness confirmation. Scour the entire woods. I want to know the excact number of these camps and what they look like.' As Flash dismissed the scouts he decided that is these camps were real they had to be taken out. He would leave, or try to leave Glory and Leo here to defend the base in case it was a diversion but had a feeling it wasn't. Flash Wallis had a feeling in his gut, one that was not good, one that meant that Ammit Wonder was back ready to go again after her defeat. He spend the entire night planning at his desk. As the sun slowly rose Flash heard from the leaders of the scout teams. 'It's true,' they told him. 'There are three camps. All small but many more scents then there should be for such a small camp.' Flash nodded his dismissal of the men. This wasn't suprising, he thought, but it needed to be done right. After many plans, so many plans, he settled on one. First was to assemble the large army that he would lead.
This paper it said three camps, the scouts that Flash sent out confirmed it so he would need three lietuenants that he trusted to lead the individual forces. His original choice would automatically be Glory, but he wanted to keep her out of this, especially with whatever it was with Leo hapenning.
Third their attacks would need to be at the same time so as to not raise alarm and readiness in camps yet to come under attack.
And finally he would write a letter to Glory and Leo to come back to this base, to his desk, to see him for an important matter. This would lead them on an scavanger hunt, finding notes, piecing information together, for the entire day, long enough to keep them out of action so as not to add to their injuries.
This decided Flash assembled his army. He read the dossier to them, telling them his plan. He told them which lietunenants would lead it, choosing them based off calm leadership skills and experience. 'Some of us may not make it in this battle,' he told them. 'However, I believe that we will outnumber them significantly and that they would not be ready. The plan is to send in a quarter of us for the first three minutes of this battle. After this time the force will be drawn out of their base and the rest of us will pour in. We will also attack each camp at the same time.'
This done he wrote the letter, the final piece of the scavenger hunt set for Glory and Leo.
Glory and Leo,
I'm sorry that i didn't let you come with me to the battle, i couldn't put it upon myself to add to your injuries. If I don't come back go to Simara, there is a letter for each of you.
Flash placed it in the middle of a bush that he and Gloy had planted when they first came here and were on landscaping duty as punishment for one of their pranks.
He walked off to get kitted up. Fully armed he looked at his assembled army and felt pride. Pride at what they stood for, for their courage.
He gave a first-year a message, with directions to Leo and Glory and told him to give go and give them it only after they were gone.
Flash led the charge to the sky, everyone following. They made up the distance in no time, the cool 2am air refreshing during the flight. 'On my count,' Flash whispered. '3... 2... 1... GO!,' Flash screamed the GO. He then pulled out an 3 minute sand timer he used for these operations. As the time trickled down the sounds of battle reached them, high in the sky. As the final grains ran out Flash screamed again 'GO!'. As he lead the large remainer of the army to the three seperate camps he saw Ammit, increasing speed to a speed that nothing, even he, couldn't see. He hit Ammit in the middle of her back, almost cutting her in half. He then un-sheathed his long sword sinking it into her chest as she flipped over, falling. 'Why hello again, Ammit,' Flash said cheerily. 'Are you finally ready to face your death? Or will you continue running away?'
As he waited for Ammit to recover he bellowed an order to all his troops. 'Take ten prisoners from each camp for interrogating, preferabbly high-up ones,' Flash ordered. 'And bring in an elite team to help me take Ammit back with us!'.

"Praise from Glory about a simple prank? My oh my, I really must've pulled that one off." Leo grinned wryly. It was one of many pranks, but would always be one of his favorites. "Reminds me of the time I happened to 'accidentally' twist a couple emotions and disappear for weeks without anyone noticing... amazing what you can do when you have the time to do it." His wry smirk said there was probably much more to that story, and much more stories to tell, as well. "Does too." He purred, quite enjoying her irritated glances. He knew she knew he was just saying it to make her angry, which made it all the more hilarious that she still responded anyway. "That doesn't count. You barely morphed it, from what I can gather." He referenced the fact he somehow knew her name had been Gloria, or was, but she just called herself something different. It was fascinating what you could pick up when no one ever paid attention to you. Which, of course, made him wonder why they hadn't spoken before. Now his mind was racing with questions. Had she been a student, or had she joined as an adult? If she had joined as a student, why didn't he remember her? She would've joined a mere year after him. On the other hand, if she had come here as an adult, why hadn't he noticed her then, either? He became a Sector Leader as soon as possible, and climbed the ranks rather quickly, which meant he got to know just about everyone. Why not her? Annoying thoughts, really, as he wasn't in the mood to ask them. "Yeesh, you meant it WASN'T easy. Scottish Gaelic must be right up there with English on the difficulty scale." He snorted. "I'm sure you knew, but German is one of the easiest languages to learn. Mostly one of my favorites because everything you say sounds like an insult. Such a growly language." He grinned. For the same reason he disliked French, Italian, Spanish... the 'romance' languages. They were all so soft. You could say 'I hate you' and it would come out sounding like you just asked them on a date, or complimented how pretty they looked. He would much prefer everything sound like an insult. Even Schöen was a harsh sounding word. "Of course you didn't. You would never try and torture anyone. How cruel." He drawled sarcastically. "Forgive me for ever thinking that. It's not like you were just talking about shooting bodies out of cannons or anything. Medium rare or nothing, eh?" He continued with a snort. "Hey, a participation award is still an award." Leo chuckled, then paused. "Soo what was the meaning of the slew of Scottish Gaelic words you spewed out last night?" He asked jokingly, knowing he wouldn't get an answer for that one. "You need to help me piece together this puzzle. When did you join Libodon?" He finally inquired, as the question was gnawing away at his mind. It did bring up another. Had she always been one rank behind him? One rank, one year, he guessed.

"Well, I have a very particular ranking system. Basically, the longer-lasting the effects, the higher the score. And how well you get away with it. If it only bothers people for a day and you get ratted out, it sucked," Glory said. "But, if it leaves traces of chaos behind for weeks... well that's top tier." 2 weeks was good given how risky it was to poison the adults' food, and not even be suspected. "You have to tell me about that one now," She said, grinning. Emotional and psychological pranks were always the best, especially since people remembered them better. "DOES. NOT" She hissed quietly. This was a hill she'd die on, regardless of how he was just being dumb. "No, I lopped off a syllable," She retorted. Nothing else really had changed, other than the fact that it felt more like her name. Apparently, he paid more attention than Glory realized. "What do you mean English is hard? It's your first language, isn't it?" She asked. Technically, it was partly Glory's first language too, as she'd used both English and Scots Gaelic until her father decided he didn't want to stay in Scotland anymore. Too many memories of her mother, Glory figured. "That's why Gaelic is great, it always sounds like a threat or a slur," She said. Especially when shouted. She found French to be a nice language and had learned some just for the heck of it, but overall it was too... gentle. Soft. The cadence was pretty, but it was hard to sound exactly as pissed as you were. "You're forgiven," She said. "Shooting dead bodies out of a cannon is WAY different from torturing someone," She huffed. Besides, Glory preferred hurting their minds more than their bodies. It got you better information quicker. "No it's not, because you didn't earn it," She said. How can you win anything by just existing? It was pointless and devalued the actual awards. "Okay, ask and you might receive," She said. He could just sit there and ponder. "Another question..." She started. "Well, I was 16, so almost 10 years ago." Wow, had it really been that long already? Did not feel like it...
