Astrid Elliot | Bjorn, Raven | XC/ D | M: Dash Astrid focused on the flickering of the flames, smiling as she noticed it was like they were fighting each other. She wiped a bit of ash of of her face and turned to the man who had suddenly sat beside her. `` Oh, hi!`` She exclaimed happily. `` Astrid Elliot, Cross Country.`` Astrid smiled as she took his hand. After shaking it she resumed her normal position, hands in her hoodie and a small smile plastered on her face. `` How are ya Dash?`` Astrid asked nonchalantly. Her eyes remained on the fire as she listened to the man. Every now and again she would steal a glance of Lorenzo, mentally scolding herself each time she did. |

Aria/Liz | 17/22 | M: Payton
The teen followed her aunt up the small incline to the bonfire, grumbling all the while. Liz noticed her niece's irritation and sighed. "C'mon Aria. I know you miss your city slicker friends, but can you stop being a moody teenager for five minutes and make an effort? Im sure you can find some nice people here.What about your roomate? Savannah?"
Aria simply glared at her aunt before replying in a cold tone. "Oh, yes. The roomate who barely talks to me." Snorting, she watched her aunt glance toward another, quite pretty young woman. Aria rolled her eyes and pushed her aunt in the woman's direction. "Aunt Liz, go get your date. I will be fine over here." Smirking as she observed her aunt flirting with the woman, Aria marveled at how the petite woman was more like a sister to her than anything else.

Liz made her way to the two-tone haired woman, smiling as she sat down. "Payton, right? I love the sweatshirt. Im a big fan of Spider Gwen. Plus I love a girl in a Spide-y design." Glancing over to Aria, she caught the girl's eye and winked, earning a grin. Bringing her attention back to Payton she herself grinned. "I thought I saw you when you first got here. Athens | M: Judea, Open "You can't just take a wild rabbit." "But I did." .... "Go put it back." "No! He's mine!" "No it's--" "Sir Hoppington The Third is my best friend! He's my child! He's mine!" And just like that, Judea scampered away through the dark, seemingly toward the bonfire, with a terrified rabbit hugged close to his chest. Athens hesitated a moment, baffled by the teen's actions and response. Though dreading dealing with the inevitable trouble making that was bound to take place, he soon followed after the teen hurriedly, and while doing so couldn't resist calling out in confusion, "Why 'the third'?!" The red-brunette spared only a moment's glance back. "Because it's fancy!" He shouted gleefully, immediately returning to a sprint over to the gathering by the fire. Oh gods... Athens internally sighed with a slightly amused look of concern. Slowing to a normal walk, he decided against trying to catch the untamed teen, figuring that a little annoyance was better than a boy and a bunny tripping into flames. This child, I swear... He did his best to keep a watchful eye on Judea as he approached, but as he took note of him simply hiding behind people at the bonfire, Athens began to think that there'd be no success in monitoring and gave a dismissive look to the teen when he caught him staring. Unsurprisingly, Judea giggled with an "I won" expression before going on to bug people with "Sir Hoppington". Taking his mind off of the kid's antics, Athens gazed around the scene thoughtfully, taking in everything that he could see by the fire's light. People were gathered around-- some standing and some sitting-- all seemingly enjoying themselves. And it seemed near to unanimous that the crackling sounds from the center of it all were soothing, to a certain degree. Most if not all of the faces he saw were familiar, though few really known. Everyone appeared comfortable and glad. As much as it was all pleasing to the eye, Athens disliked being in the midst of everyone like this. He was perfectly content being involved, but he didn't want to be just right there. So he stepped away from the people and the warmth of the fire, going on to comfortably drift on the darker outskirts of the circle gathering. Maybe, he hoped, having lots of people situated in one general area would help keep Judea distracted and nearby. |

Dash | 26 | M: Astrid, Lorenzo,Athens
Dash smiled at Astrid's enthusiasm and grinned. "Dearest Astrid, I am doing absolutely fabulous." Watching her stolen glances toward Lorenzo, he gasped dramatically. "Oh honey. Who is he? And why do you keep looking at him like hes poison?" Realization dawned on him, and he wrapped part of the blanket around Astrid. "Did he do something? You best believe you deserve better than him."Giving the woman a squeeze his gaze moved to another figure and he smiled. Doing a little wave and blowing a little kiss to Athens, he grinned at Astrid. "Girl, we're gonna find you a man who's the nicest thing ever. Abd if Mr. Handsome over there doesnt realize how wonderful you are, he was never right in the first place. Now tell me, do any of these other guys catch your eye?" |

Astrid Elliot | Bjorn, Raven | XC / D | M: Dash Astrid smiled as he gently placed the blanket around her. `` He's just a guy who I thought thought differently of me.`` She let out a sigh. `` I know how he feels... and.. I just want him to admit it. So.. You remember the gala thing we had the other night? Well, we danced, he kissed me, he ran off and left me to feel like he didn't mean it. `` She grumbled. Astrid looked around and shook her head. She wasn't interested in any guys, not even the one the man beside her called poison. `` No, not really. No one at all. I- I don't tend to get many feelings like that.`` Astrid explained to him. `` It just doesn't happen.`` |

Dash nodded as Astrid talked. "Then I say have fun with being single. Theres nothing wrong with exploring your options and having fun. You're young." He watched the fire, rolling up the sleeve on his bandaged arm, the inside of the cast getting warmer. "Let me pick your brain for a second. Where are you from? Why did you come here?"

They must have seen me at one of my competitions and were impressed. How about you Dash? Why are you here?`` She asked kindly. Astrid looked down at his cast then back up at the fire, the sparks keeping her interested. Various conversations could be heard, as could laughter, music and footsteps. |

Dash sighed. "Im here because... I needed something different. I needed to be away. Im probably not the most talented rider in the world, but I suppose I have something to offer." Going back to Astrids original reply, Dash grinned. "Denmark, huh? That must be a culture shock, being here." |

Astrid | 27 | M: Dash Astrid shook her head. `` No not really. It was when I first moved here but I've been in America for 4-5 years now.`` She said happily. `` Look, I need to go check on Bjorn. I'll see ya later Dash.`` Astrid smiled as she stood up. She slowly walked into the barn where her horse was situated and smiled when the large bulky buckskin stuck his head over the door. `` Hey boy.`` She exclaimed as Bjorn stuck his head on her shoulder. Astrid scratched under her forelock and wrapped her arms around his neck. `` Hows my number one.`` She asked in a baby voice as she played with his halter. |

"Well it was nice to meet you!" Dash yelled to her retreating form. Getting up, Dash walked over to Athens, smiling as he approached the blonde. "Hey. I wasnt sure if you were going to be here. I just want to say thank you for what you did last night. It means a lot to me." Dash looked vissibly happy, as if his complete and utter breakdown the night prior had helped him recover himself. Which it had. |
