Spirit woke up from a long sleep, allowing himself to stretch and yawn before blinking his eyes. The soft jingling sound of the bell from his brown patched snow-white collar was only heard along the aisle. His heart stopped, 'What happened to the rest?' Spirit took a glance at the clock and saw the time, half past ten. ~ He padded softly to the cold grounds of the little shed, and sniffed. He then looked up and saw a beautiful brown patch snow-white harness of his, hanging on the rack. 'Probably the musher had just scrubbed it.' He thought. Spirit stood for a while admiring before realising that that was the only harness hanged up. 'Where's the rest??' he whined softly. He pulled his harness down and brought it to where the sled would be placed. He stared at the pawprints made by the rest that morning and whimpered sadly. 'Had I mistaken the time? No, I haven't, it was meant to start at half past ten! Even though I loved sleeping, but I enjoyed working! Haven't anyone reconized my passion?' He sighs, brushing his harness against the snow wondering what he could do. ~ Little did he know, his musher haven't woken Spirit up as he knew he had woken up too early and needed rest. By not knowing this, Spirit decided to go get his little blue bucket. He dropped his harness in the musher's hut before waddling back to his kennel. In a while, Spirit was in an ice rink near the camp, in search of fishes underneath the ice. He caught a few big silver-blue fish and decided to give it to June and the others, and ofcourse his musher too. ~ While Spirit was bringing his freshly caught fish back to the camp, he heard a familiar bark and gave a happy wag of his tail in reponse. Sky was beyond happy when they started off. She pulled with all her might, as she had trained for so many years. The snow stuck in between her paw pads, but Sky didn't mind. Snow was her favorite. Icy winds whipped against her face, flopping her ears about wildly. The foreset was singing, and the dog sled team was singing with it. ~ Sky listened to the conversation when Raina fell for Mz, and she wished she could notice things like Raina could. Raina was the Swing dog next to Sky, so when she fell Sky just about tripped over her. She yelped a 'sorry!' bt no one seemed to notice. Of course, Sky thought, No one ever pays attention to me. ~ When they were up and running again, Sky tried once more to apologize to Raina. "Sorry I almost tripped over you back there..." She said, biting her lip to keep it from quivering. "I wish I was as noticing as you are, though. I didn't even know that something was wrong with Mz! You're very... Quick-thinking, I guess. Good job." Sky ended up whispering the last part.

"Sky, You are sweet caring and funny, I just hope you are okay!" Raina whined. Then looked at the two males. "Hey! Knock it off! The musher is already mad at me for slowing us down!" she nipped at bell and mz. "Oh and Sky I was wonder if you'd wanna be my friend!?"

Mz sunk back onto the sled, his body strangely depleted of its energy, he layed there feeling not only tired, but nauseous.

Raina kept pace but looked backevery so often. Being mentored by June she learned to make sure the team was going steady and calm. "Everyone okay?" she panted.

Bellamy let out a growl as Mz nipped at his tail, turning back with teeth bared. "Wait until I get out of this harness, old man." he barked loudly before turning back around to focus on running again. His tail was throbbing slightly from the bite, but it was nothing that Bellamy couldn't handle. Turning to Sky, he gave her a concerned look. He relied on Sky almost as much as he did June, since she was his partner swing dog. She was also the easiest to work with, in his personal opinion. "You okay Sky??"

Denali felt left out that all the dogs had all their conversations going on, she had enjoyed the little bit that they had run so far. She moved her shoulders around a bit in her snow white harness then continued running strongly. She turned to Mz and nudged him with her muzzle to try and distract him so the beefing would cool out with him and Bellamy. She said, "C'mon, fighting won't help much, let's just go a bit slower." She was hoping to strike a friendship with one of the dogs since she hadn't yet really and they all seemed to have their own elbow buddies already, so she had been pretty much just acknowledged by everyone for 2 years, not really getting an opportunity to bond with anyone in those years since they were all busy running and prepping for their races.

Mz blinked at Denali and then closed his eyes, he felt worse, he growled, why did this have to happen to him? Mz appreciated it when Denali said let's slow down

She noticed that he was getting worse so she started barking and howling, then she started slowing down to a stop, flinching as the whole weight of the sled and the force of the dogs pressed against her harness. Once they slowed significantly she said to Mz, "We need to head back so you can properly rest." She then shouted to the others, "Guys, we need to go back Mz isn't feeling good at all, quick!"
