Quail attended the announcements happily, thinking about the girl he had seen earlier and how she smiled back at him. He was relieved that there were nice people around and his earlier assumptions about the students were proven wrong. He was also proud of himself for interacting with someone first, even if they didn’t talk it was definitely a step forward. As the announcements came to an end Quail wandered away, unsure of where to go. Hearing how the tack was yet to arrive kind of annoyed Quail as it seemed to put an end to his plans for an evening ride.

Frustrated, Quail made his way to the barn once more, deciding even if he couldn’t ride Edgar it’d still be nice to visit the horse.

“Edgar!” Quail called as he approached stall 40. Once he reached the stall he entered it, sitting on the ground. Shortly after Quail sat down Edgar layed down, resting his largehead on Quail’s lap.

“The tack won’t be here until the morning so I guess that means no rides until then,” Quail sighed, explaining the predicament to the horse. The male fell silent for a moment, gears turning in his head. As he thought he pet Edgar gently, giving the horse some very appreciated scratches every now and then.

“What if we go bareback?” Quail asked excitedly as if he just had the greatest idea of all time. He urged Edgar to get up, standing up once the horse's head was off of him. He peeked his head out of the horse stall, trying to see if anyone else had a similar idea. He wasn’t sure if bareback riding was allowed at the school and he also wasn’t completely sure whether they can go on rides whenever they pleased or not.

Oliver continued to watch everyone for awhile, she liked peole watcing, it was great to get to know someones personality when they thought no one was looking and it caused for some funny moments. Eventually she got bored of it though so she had two choices, either hang out with Ace or unpack her bag, which obviously she picked Ace. -I can always unpack later tonight- Oliver thought to herself before walking out of the stall to grab Ace's halter, once she did she turned right back around and put the a dark brown leather halter on her then clipped a black lead rope to her and lead her out of the stall. Oliver decided to just march Ace aroudn the property so that she could at least get used to it before classes tommorrow. She lead the mare all the way out of the barn and towards the nearest pasture deciding to start there with their little walk.

Wyn stood up, he had been drawing small pictures of blade for a hour at least, and blade being filled with the excitement of being with his owner had decided he wanted to mess around, so now Wyn was decorated with bits of straw here and there, Wyn turned to blade and stroked his soft silver muzzle, "I am going to go now blade, I have to unpack because those bags aren't going to unpack themselves, right?" He said chuckling, Wyn said his last goodbyes as he clicked the stable door back into place, and walked out of the horse-filled barn, his drawing book firmly under his arm.
Wyn sucked in a deep breath and held up a piece of paper he managed to strangle from the office, it said:

Wyn sighed and slowly walked around, looking for his assigned dorm, Wyn was about to give up when he saw the letters: 70 carved into a wooden door, Wyn opened the door slowly, and stepped in, looking around to find luggage piled on the ground, Wyn didn't bring much, so he was confused why there was so much luggage, then Wyn realised that he was sharing a room with someone of the name: Quail yellowhead, Wyn sighed, he was hoping that Wyn wouldn't have to speak to anybody, that this could be a socialising free school, sadly it wasn't, Wyn hefted his backpack onto a bed as if to claim it, he looked at the luggage pile and sorted out what was his and what was quails, Wyn started unpacking slowly, then thought of quail walking in on him with his precious belongings, and doubled his speed, hampering away clothing and drawing sets, finally Wyn finished and sat on his bed, fetching a book from his backpack he hadn't unpacked, Wyn layed back and started to read, maybe this school would be good, maybe Wyn could have time to himself

Niko wandered back to barn, not sure what to do. He sat down in Q's stall, and watched him eat, while responding to texts from friends and family. All the messages said the same thing, "how was the trip?" or "are the other kids nice?" All the messages except for one, and that was from his best friend, who was if the school had any hot chicks. Laughing, Niko left him on read. After spending half an hour with his horse, Niko left for his dorm. He put his airpods in, and starting playing Morgan Wallen. Niko may be a city boy, but he loves Morgan Wallen just as much as the next person. He finished unpacking his duffel bag, thrilled that he got the room to himself. He had never liked sharing a room with anyone and liked everything organized a certain way. He made his bed, put his clothes away, and found a spot for all the little things like chargers, pictures, and books. You certainly wouldn't take Niko as reader from first glance, but he easily lost himself in a new book every night. As much as Niko wanted the room to himself, he hoped someone would join him later in the year, it was nice to have a default friend.

Eve speed walked in the direction of the stables, desperate to see Cobweb. The poor cob hated the trailer as it is, let alone on a couple hour drive, Eve thought. Smiling awkwardly as she passed some people with her speed walking, she finally made it to stall 45 where cobweb was half asleep. She booped his nose in the way she always does and he perked up immediately nuzzling up to Nieves face.
"I missed you too my little Webster" she muttered into his neck, wrapped her arms around him and squeezing him tight. Inhaling his lovely horse smell, she gave him a big kiss before breaking away. Glancing to her right, she spotted a guy leaving a stall with straw all in his hair and over his clothes. He was carrying a notebook that Eve got a brief look at as he passed, it was filled with drawing of horses and they were really good as well! Eve felt imposter syndome creeping in so she entered the stall, plopping down next to Cobweb, gazing up at him.

She looked outside the stall as she heard horses shoes clacking and saw a boy riding bareback. Eve shook her head in disbelief and despite desperately wanting to follow him, decided it was probably better for Cobweb to have a rest and settle in first. She gave Cobweb one more hug before heading towards the dorms.

Isabella quietly sneaked up to her dorm, scooting past the crowd. When she got to the dorm that read her name, she opened the door and put her stuff on the top bunk. So far, they hadn't thought to put up her roommates name, so, why worry about her roommates option.

Qibli startled awake, not realizing he had fallen asleep. He grabbed his cowboy hat and backpack, hopping off the bus and miraculously keeping his 6'3 frame away from the other scrambling people. He then ran a hand through his frosty blonde hair and snuck away to the dorm, dropped his stuff off, then ran to the stables where West was being kept. Qibli said hi to the horse happily, wondering what was happening since he skipped all of it

After seeing not many people shared Quail’s same idea to go bareback riding he let out a soft sigh. He returned to Edgar, giving him a few more pets and scratches before he turned to leave. It’d probably be better for him to get to his dorm sooner than later so he could unpack what he needed.

“Bye, Eddie,” Quail said, waving one last time to the horse before going back towards the dorms. On his way to the dorm he picked up a slip of paper from the office with his dorm number and Edgar’s stall number on it. The paper read, ‘Stall 40 / Dorm 70’. Quail headed to his dorm room, he was lucky enough not to get lost. The dorms were the only thing he really had a good memory of from when he had visited the school earlier that year for the orientation and tour.

Upon arriving into the dorm he was quick to notice Wyn, looking down at his paper slip with his dorm number he tried to see if he missed the mention of a roommate. He was honestly relieved he had a roommate, it gave him an easier chance to try and make at least one friend.

“Hey,” Was all Quail managed to say, giving Wyn a small wave before he went towards his luggage. He wasn’t much of a talker, starting conversations was never his forte so he often settled for one word greetings when talking to those he wasn’t familiar with. He had two big suitcases, one filled to the brim with mostly clothes and other necessities while the other was much more empty, it had a few shirts and other random things while on top of it all was another cowboy hat. Unlike the one he was currently wearing which was a darker beige this one was black with an eagle feather on it, secured by a thin black band around the hat.

The black cowboy hat with the eagle feather was what Quail wore to competitions and rodeos, it was his good luck charm. Quail set the black hat down onto his bed while he continued to unpack the rest of his belongings, neatly putting his clothes away.

Qibli took in a deep breath and stroked West's nose, thinking. He finally left the stall and went to his dorm, finding it again rather quickly and unpacking his small bag. He set the black cowboy hat on a hook before sitting down to observe the room. Thankfully, he did not have any other roommates. That was helpful for now. Qibli decided he wanted to go see what kind of riding grounds the school had. He strode out and back to West, succesfully finding the horses tack. Qibli tacked the stallion up, jammed a helmet on, and hopped on the tall boy.

Abby had only walked Rose for about 5 minutes before her phone buzzed. Oh, shoot! I was so busy getting off the bus and seeing Rose that forgot to tell dad I was here! Abby halted Rose and opened her phone. Her father had said: 'Hey sweet girl! Are you at the campus yet? I got a little worried when you didn't respond to my other texts, but I figured you were busy. How are you?'

Abby replied and shut her phone off. She walked Rose around teh campus for another hour before putting her back in her stall and finding her dorm. Abby sighed, remembering she had to share with someone she had never met. 'Nieve Steedman & Abigail Carlson' the sign on the door said.
