Nolhend ---X--- Winter age of darkness ---X--- Nol stood, a hand on lam for support and waddled over to his gelding, grateful that he could ride instead of having to walk all the way, Nol mounted the gelding and urged the horse onward, he had a plan to head to the Eastern side of the continent, but they would have to take a travel through the desert.

Zahra ---x--- Winter Age of Darkness ---x--- Zahra was concerned for the rider who fell off her horse, but she didn't say anything. Nol took care of it. All good. she kept telling herself. Zahra looked at Nol for the five-hundredth time. "Do you know where we're going? I have no idea where to head, but maybe you do." She asked. Nav had been quiet this whole time, sitting on Rose's back. Now he said, 'Maybe through the desert. Probably East.' 'Be quiet!' Zahra said back, barely tugging Rose away from a fallen log and almost cutting her leg. 'I asked Nol, not you.'

Nolhend ---x--- Winter age of darkness ---X--- Nol looked at Zahra, "I know where we are going" he said weakly, but he didn't bother elaborating, it cost to much energy. Nol urged his horse forward into a canter, coming to the outskirts of the desert.

Zahra ---x--- Winter Age of Darkness ---x--- Zahra nodded, and urged her horse into a canter as well, falling behind Nol so they couldn't see each other's faces. Zahra still didn;t know what to think about Nol. He was nice, friendly, and yet mysterious and secretive. They would have to get to know each other if they were to defeat the Dark Power. But the mood around here wasn't the best. How would they get to know each other if they all hated each other?

Nolhend ---X--- Winter Age of darkness ---X--- Nol swayed in the saddle, but managed to cling on. Lam jumped up from behind him and stood on the horses rump. Nol looked up at the sky, the stars were starting to rise, Nol urged his horse into a gallop, running into the red sand, he wanted to get through this desert as fast as possible before night, where the dark masses were stronger. Nol soon later stopped, the moon was in the sky, surrounded by stars, "we will camp here for now" he said, despite the sands flat look, a couple of large rocks peaked out of the sand, here and there. Nol leaned against one of the rocks that looked it could provide shelter from rain and storms, and found a dead branch, tying his horse to it. Nol gathered other dead branches and piled them up, as well as setting up his sleeping bag

A tan desert fox she had befriended years ago bounded up to her. Just by looking at him she could tell her family was gone, and she began to sob.

Nolhend ---X--- Day of first spring Age of darkness ---X--- Nol looked around, the fire was going steadily and strong, and he was warm. Lam layed in his lap, a heavy weight. Nol picked at his food, he had hoped their sources would last them the journey through the desert. Nol layed down again and stroked lam, falling asleep softly
