Ryker Rivera [] M [] 16 [] CR: Liberty (Eventually) [] Dashing to Freedom [] M: Liberty The usually quiet boy ate his meager plate of food silently, his eyes flitting around to look at the other students. He usually didn't eat too much- he didn't have the biggest appetite when he was at new schools and he wanted, however silly it sounded, to keep his muscle mass the same so barn chores would be easier. Ryker didn't have an ounce of fat on him, but right now he was a little skinny- he had adequate muscle but his ribs still showed. He couldn't keep an appetite whenever he was in a new place. After he finished his small meal he pushed the plate aside and decided not to move yet, crossing his arms and leaning against the wall behind him. When Liberty started walking towards him Ryker took his eyes off the ceiling, which he had intently been studying, and glanced at her, waiting for her to sit down and speak. He wondered what had been up the last time they talked, not that it was super long ago. "Hello, and you can sit wherever you want. It is America." Ryker responded with a small joke, tilting his head. |

Estelle Devereux • F • 15 • First Year • Aphrodite • M: none Estelle sat up and brushed the lint off of her jacket and slipped her phone into her back pocket. She yawned and decided she'd just call it in for the rest of the day. Walking at a midly fast pace she eventually made it back to her dorm. Unlocking it and slipped off her shoes and tucked them away in the shoe cubby. Estelle decided she'd again go hop into the shower for a couple minutes before heading to bed. "Is the water hot this time?" She touched it and it was semi-hot so Estelle took about a 12 minute shower and got on her pajamas and went straight for her bed, scrolling through her phone till she became to tired to hold her eyes open |

Keefe Sencen [] M [] 16 [] CR: Will Be Lisa [] Irresistible Little Devil [] M: Open Keefe spoke quietly to Diablo for a while, stroking the horse's neck to get the stallion to calm down. After checking the water was full and that Diablo had adequate hay, Keefe strode out of the barn and to the dining area. He sat down at a table by himself, not feeling attatched enough to anyone yet to want to sit by them. However, he had a feeling he might find a friend in Lisa someday. After grabbig his fill of food, Keefe ate there, enjoying every bite. He tried to decide whether to go up to his room, leaning on the table with a sigh. |

Alaska Devyn [] F [] 16 [] CR: Will Be Fox [] Sea Clown [] M: Open Alaska grabbed a small amount of food and ate it quickly, proceeding to sit in silence to observe everyone. She hadn't seen that boy come in yet- the more she thought about it the more curious she grew, which annoyed her. Alaska shoved those thoughts out of her mind and looked around the hall vaugely, finally letting her eyes rest on a window to view the forest outside. It was really the best she could do, since she didn't want to disappear to her room yet- there was absolutely nothing to do. |

Liberty Norris ✴ Female ✴ 1st Year | 15 ✴ CR: Ryker {eventually} ✴ Golden Dahlia ✴ M: Estelle | Ryker - Liberty waited as Ryker moved his eyes from the ceiling. "Ha-ha," She responded when Ryker answered her question. She set her tray down and slipped into the chair. Liberty looked into her bowl of soup, stirring it but not touching it. "So, um..." She didn't quite know how to start. Maybe another joke? But could that be going too far? Probably not. But what if it was? She decided to go with the joke. "Do you know what kind of soup this is? I thought it might be mushroom or potato, but I'm honestly not very sure." Liberty didn't take her eyes off the soup until Ryker answered. |

She definitely seemed tentative, but that made sense at least. There were people like Alaska, who literally seemed afraid of nothing, and there were people like Liberty, who were a little more careful. Ryker glanced at his empty plate, fiddling with something under the table. At her question he laughed, glancing at the soup. "I think those are radishes... but I can't be certain." He grinned a little, forgetting that he was talking to a new person. Ryker just had to joke around to be comfortable. |

Normally she just didn't care and walked away. But she supposed Ryker was different. When he said he thought the soup had radishes in it, Liberty immediately set down her spoon and pushed her bowl away from her. "Blech. I hate radishes. they're so... Weird." She shivered, and pushed her bowl a little farther. "So... *ahem*, what classes are you signed up for? I heard you say something about that, but I kinda forgot. I don't have the best memory." |

He was not that picky... he would eat just about anything. However, he didn't eat that MUCH of it, which was his problem. "Weird. Okay then." He joked a little, tilting his head at her question. "Darn, I didn't know when you came over here I'd have to think... I don't have the best memory ever." Ryker couldn't help but comment, a small smile on his face as he tried to recall the schedule. "Western classes, obviously... I think Cutting, Cross Country, and Roping." He answered. "What about you?" |

Liberty Norris ✴ Female ✴ 1st Year | 15 ✴ CR: Ryker {eventually} ✴ Golden Dahlia ✴ M: Estelle | Ryker - Liberty thought for a second or two before saying, "Well, I told you that I was thinking of quitting Endurance, but other than that I just have Barrel Racing. Dahlia loves a little speed. And I guess I do too!" She said with a little laugh. "Our best time on the barrels is 14.767 seconds. That was about a year ago at some semi-final or something. Do you have a fastest time for anything? I don't know much about cattle, so I wouldn't know if there is or isn't a timer." Liberty glanced at her bowl across from her, then grabbed it and started eating again. "I'm too hungry to care if this is radishes or not," she said, her mouth a little full with soup. |

Ryker Rivera [] M [] 16 [] CR: Liberty (Eventually) [] Dashing to Freedom [] M: Liberty Ryker nodded at her words, smiling at the thought of barrel racing. "I like barrel racing as well, I just can't do too much in it." He answered, understanding how most people probably liked more speed. He was that way when he as 11 and 12... but when he got Dash he realized that he was content with taking it slow-ish. Then again, cattle work wasn't all sleep. In fact, he found it much harder than barrel racing. Cutting took definite endurace, and a cunning, bombproof horse. Roping took even more bombproofing... the horse had to gallop out, wait while the human ropes the cow, then stop and hold the struggling animal even after the owner gets off and leaves the horse. "14.767 seconds!? That's actually really fast." He exclaimed, looking surpised at her words. "Well, they time both cutting and roping but roping is the more exciting one. My fastest time there was a rodeo winner, at 10.1 seconds. I swore I would've broken my legs if I jumped off any faster- and the cow's hooves were flailing like loose fireworks." Ryker smiled at the memory. |
