![](./images/menu2/treesfall.jpg) 01:26:14 McFossil Yes, under the stable tab click Reports and from there Show Results |
01:25:16 Is there a way to see what the exact results are from the shows I entered my horses into yesterday? |
01:19:58 Ru Oh I see now. That makes sense! |
12:57:27 McFossil Sorry Asfa. Glad the cat had a soft landing. |
12:56:25 McFossil My E mares I set aside the WK3 mares, all other mares have to be up all WK4 and WK7.
As the whole herd improves I will tighten requirements. For now I'm just taking it slow with my stock. This way I can get color in, increase my geldings, etc. It works well enough for me. I already have a few LB mares and potentials gracing my stables now. |
12:55:29 Ru Asfa He stayed with you for a while and then found good home. That's not bad at all |
12:53:09 Asfa Just found out that the cat I was forced by my landlord to surrender has already been adopted. I'm happy for him, but there's a crushing sense of finality. As long as he was there, there was a chance I could get him back if I could change my situation. But now he's gone. |
12:49:01 S҉ Sem On a Thursday in the middle of the month, every 3 months. |
12:47:48 Hay when does capture day generally happen? |
12:46:30 Ru How do you manage your E mares? |
12:46:00 McFossil Yep. So if they produce more than one W I know they are special and worth it |
12:44:36 Ru With E mares they're lucky if they can manage one W |
12:43:17 McFossil LOL I'm mean, my freshman only get Elite mares. |
12:40:21 Ru If he can't produce a W with 5 W mares, he's out, that's pretty simple |
12:39:43 McFossil That's good. I used to be able to tell with just a few mares if a stallion was worth the 10 to see if he would make the LB. |
12:36:14 Ru Got him like 5, that should be enough. Gonna save like 300k for top stalions |
12:34:27 McFossil Can't blame you there, I'd go ahead and test him. Definitely get him some W mares. His dam did good I would take her to the top of the LB. |
12:31:14 Ru Still amazed at how cheap WBs are. I'm used to 20k+ mares and not a lot of them, it's like Christmas on WBs side, 10k per mare. Here went my profit haha |

Darren Lee Greyson | 28 | M | Ignited Sage (Sage) | Mentions; Sage . The wheelbarrow full Darren put the pitchfork back where it belonged and made sure Sage's stall was latched proper before he wheeled the wheelbarrow away to the compost, Tipping it out Darren left the wheelbarrow in the state it was before he used it then made his way all the way back to Sage's stall. . Making Sure her hay net was full and plenty of water in her bucket, Standing outside the mares stall Darren stroked her dark fur once more as he used his other hand to pull out his phone and scan the screen for the time. reading that it was late enough he should prepare the mares feed, "Are you hungry?" He spoke to the mare knowing full well that she couldn't verbally respond but she looked eager. . "Alright i'll prepare your dinner before i head off" In a sweet tone as he made his way to the feed room to prepare her grain. . Ruth Carling | 20 | F | Dancing Haze (Haze) | Mentions; Luvaine & Mist (Briefly) . Heater on full blast Ruth's conversation with her mother came to an end as they arrived rather late at the Mallow Grove Stable, "Thanks mum" Hopping out of the rented two horse truck Ruth got onto letting Haze out. Undoing the latch and pulling down the ramp you could spy a palomino rump against the rail, coming up the right open stall she got a hold of Haze's lead rope. . Undoing the rail Ruth backed the 16 hand stallion out of the truck, Ears pricked and eyes wide he was taking in his surroundings. His travel outfit consisting of a puffy peach colored blanket and a matching set of four travel boots secured to his palomino legs, Fixing her hold on the lead rope Ruth began walking Haze around to stretch his legs. Trying to pick up a trot Ruth put him through a couple circles to get the energy out of him . Coming upon Barn B where Haze would be staying Ruth could hear some people chatting but at the moment she had her hands full settling Haze in, Walking the stallion into his stall she'd already stripped him off his travel tack and had it sitting outside for her to pack away in the tack room. Unclipping his halter she slipped it back over his ears and watched as the Palomino made use of his water bucket nearby to drink out of

Louis Wright | 19 | M | Conquer Nought (Statis) | Mentions: Peter It was well past five, when a sleek sports car pulled up to the main house, the gentle roar of its engine having been long heard alongside the crunching of gravel. The black exterior gleamed under the setting sun, dragging attention to its presence. The windows were all tinted black, masking its occupant. Having parked, the rumble of the engine continued for a while longer before it was cut, and a gentleman stepped out of the vehicle. He was a young lad, tall and undoubtedly good-looking. For someone who was running late, he stood rather relaxed and unbothered. In fact, he stood by the car for a while, the sharp green eyes prowling over the cabins and barns, pastures and forests. He stood out for more than just his physical features. He was oddly dressed for someone who was coming to a stable; he wore a pressed white shirt and formal trousers. And yet, there was a kind of youthful defiance and carelessness laced into its seams. Directing himself into the building he had parked in front of, it was not very long until he had befriended the kitchen staff. It was them who pointed him to Peter’s office, down the corridor and off to a more secluded quarter. Louis politely knocked on the door thrice, before looking in and greeting the older gentleman, who was sat behind the desk. “Hey, is this bad timing, or am I alright to sit down?”

Peter Nevernight || Male || 37 || At the Firelight (Desti) || Mentions: Louis Peter clicked through some paperwork, pulling up some tabs when he needed to and checking finances before moving to the next paper he had to review. He perked up when he heard a knock on his door, and spun his chair to face the new person who had walked in after pushing himself slightly away from his desk. Peter smiled when he saw who it was, beckoning them inside and standing up himself to properly greet them. "No, not at all. Sure thing, plenty of chairs open." Peter sat back down again, posture relaxed as he addressed who he assumed was Louis, one of the riders who said they'd be late getting here. "I'm glad you could make it, isn't easy getting here. Not much to say really. I'm the owner of the stables, Peter Nevernight, but you can skip formalities and just call me Peter. Basic rules here, keep professional, any quarrels or issues you can bring up to me and I'll try my best to help solve them. We have vets on site and stablehands that can help you as long as they aren't doing everything. Lights out are at 10 PM, and we'll provide all meals until it's your time to leave. The arenas aren't open to use until 9 AM, and are shared spaces. Don't hog one to yourself, but also respect the people already there. At the end of a six month period we'll hold a competition to measure everyone's growth, it's up to you to set your partner up for success until then. As such, planning times to work together and teach are up to the both of you. This, however, doesn't mean you can't hang out with some of the other people or even do some practice of your own. That should be everything." Peter took a moment to try and think if he forget to tell him anything, before deciding that yes, he had covered everything he wanted to. "If you have questions I'd be happy to answer them, and there's still some food in the dining hall if you're hungry." Edited at August 15, 2023 06:35 PM by Ink Splash

Mist Chandler || 16 || Female || Angel's Dance(Angle) || M: Luvaine, Wistira As Chant came over Mist briefly focused all her attention on the horse. She ran her hand down the side of his neck as far as she could reach. After a moment she remembered that she was in a conversation and turned to Luvaine. "I use she/her pronouns, you?" She turned back to the horse before a rumble in her stomach alerted her to the fact that lunch had been a long time ago. "Well, I am headed to dinner. It was nice meeting you." Arriving at the dining hall, Mist grabbed a little bit of everything. She was a picky eater and she knew if she didn't have enough opinions for food then established then some days she just wouldn't eat. Besides, she could always go back for seconds if she liked something. She sat down at a table near the wall and positioned herself in a way she could see as much of the room as possible. Then she dug into her food.

Cade |:| 17 |:| Male |:| Jazz Town (Jazz/Jazzy) |:| M : Drake - Cade woke up a little while later. He picked up his phone and checked the time, he had slept for around two hours. Drake was still asleep so Cade made sure he still had his airpods in and watched some youtube videos. In all reality it wasn't that late but him and Drake had gone to bed early since they were both decently tired from traveling. Cade sat there for a little while longer before he felt restless. So he quietly tip-toed over to the cabin door and unlocked it. He tried to open it as silently as possible and stepped out onto the porch. Cade cringed as the boards creaked under his feet and looked back at Drake to make sure he was still asleep. Then Cade closed the door but made sure it didn't close all the way in case it locked when shut. Cade climed on the railing of the porch and sat down on it. He closed his eyes and breathed in deeply. He loved the outdoors, especially at night. Cade found it very calming. Technically it wasn't night yet but the sun had almost set leaving Cade to sit in the golden afterglow.

Luvaine Pride || Male || 23 || Call in the Cavalier (Chant) || Mentions: Mist, Adelle (briefly) Luvaine listened to Mist intently, making a mental note of her pronouns before nodding. "Ah, he/they, either works for me." He smiled before bidding her goodbye when she went to leave. Chant snorted a little, watching her go before Luvaine checked his phone for the time. 9:15 PM. Now would probably be a good time to finally do his rounds for the night before heading home. Luvaine grabbed Chant's halter from the fence before entering into the pasture and whistling to ask the palomino stallion to come a little closer to him. Easily, he managed to slip the halter over his head with some help from a peppermint before getting his lead rope and guiding the stallion back to his stall. It would be a little cold tonight, so Luvaine slipped his blanket on before checking that his water was amptly filled before heading to check the other horses. Seeing that he was in barn B, he walked down the aisle and made sure the doors were locked and everyone had water and clean stalls for the night. Satisfied, he said a quick goodnight to everyone before turning off the lights and closing the barn doors, heading towards Barn A and C to do the same. If he saw Adelle he'd wish the girl goodnight, but if he didn't he hoped he would run into her tomorrow so the two could catch up, regardless of how grumpy she seemed. Everything seemed fine in all three barns, so Luvaine finally texted Peter, letting him know he was heading out, before getting into his car and going home for the rest of the night.

Darren Lee Greyson | 28 | M | Ignited Sage (Sage) & Dun Been Cursed (Ciel/Lease) | Mentions; Sage . Stepping inside the feed room of Barn C, Gathering the supplements and grain Darren began preparing the mares nightly grain. The mare was currently on pregnancy, joint/arthritis and other supplements to help with Sage's needs. Mixing it all together in the gray pan he picked it up and carried it out to her stall after tidying up. . An excited nicker from down the lane told him that she was well and truly excited for dinner, Unlatching the door Darren stepped in and placed the pan down letting the mare begin eating. Deciding to get two birds with one stone while he was here he grabbed the grooming box and began grooming the mares coat while she was occupied, With the soft brush he gently swept away the dust that was resting on her coat. . Going over her flank and to her belly he noticed it was finally starting to look a little more bloated, A sure sign Sage's foal was growing as it should. Smiling he continued brushing away . Ruth Carling | 20 | F | Dancing Haze (Haze) | Mentions; Haze . Stepping out of Haze's Stall she latched it well and picked up his travel tack to put away, Travel tack put away she quickly made her way out to grab the rest of his tack out of the truck before her mother grew impatient waiting. Dressage saddle, Girth, Bridle, Wraps and pad over her arm it was the last of the tack she needed for right now and quite frankly it was extremely heavy to hold all at once but Ruth didn't want to do multiple trips. . Ruth gave a rushed goodbye to her mother as she scurried away to the tack room of Barn B, finally able to put down the heavy tack. The tiredness was starting to grow upon her as she was busy sorting the tack into its rightful spots but she fought against it knowing she wasn't done yet, It had already been a long day for her with the stressful process of moving Haze. They did prepare for weeks beforehand on trailering but he still was a bit of a pain to get in before they left, Ruth could at least be grateful she'd already eaten dinner at her mothers so it was one less thing to worry about.

Avalon Carson | 17 | Female | Kondo Slide (Baby) It was already quite late into the evening when the horsebox arrived at its allocated destination. The sun was already at the very fringes of the horizon, screened off by the incoming clouds. The purr of its engine disturbed the otherwise silent air, and the odd equine plucked up their head to observe the object of the sound. By fortune, somehow, the mishap with the transport company had been resolved with much more swiftness than expected. And still, Avalon did not expect many others to be out at this hour. Due to the nature of how late she had been expecting to be, Peter had sent over an e-mail, outlining the same rules that he had verbalised just earlier that day. So, with lights out at ten, it would make sense if everyone is already in their cabin, ready for bed. With the vehicle at a stop, the small red-head dropped out of the passenger side, and extracted the lazy sorrel from where he had been dozing. “Baby!” Her soft voice rang out as she rubbed the equine’s nose. He huffed and slowly blinked at her, as if to say that it was too late for her energy. The girl laughed at him and placed a kiss on his cheek. The driver, insisting that he was already late on schedule, helped pull out the tack and gear into a pile on the side. Well, on her own, moving it all was going to be an effort, but nothing she couldn’t manage. Leaving all of that to wear they were, she led Baby into Barn C and sought out the stable that had his name etched in.

Wisteria || 17 || Female || Take a Little Chance(Chance) Wisteria finished up her food with a small yawn. It was definitely time to get to bed. She got up and put her dishes away and then wandered back to her cabin. Today had been a long day and tomorrow was sure to be another. She made her way to cabin C2 and stepped inside. Everything was just as she had left it. The photo of her parents rested on the bedstand facing slightly towards her bed so that they could watch over her as she slept. Wisteria grabbed a set of pajamas from her wardrobe and headed to the shower. After a quick rinse to get all the days muck off her she slipped into her PJs and made her way back to her bed. She made sure that her phone was plugged in and then turned off the light and slipped into bed. All in all her first day had not been all that bad. She turned to face the picture of her parents and whispered "I love you guys, I hope you are happy wherever you are." Then she slipped into a peaceful sleep.
