I love it! One thing I reccomend is picking your light source(I like to do them from above like natural sunlight) and then figure out where all the big shadows will be :D
for example, I just sketched out in blue where big highlights would be, red is shadows :3

She has scars on her back from a flogging she endured once. She is slim but strong with soft curves. Parents Dennis (deceased: died from a fever when Madrigal was 15) Rosalie (deceased: shot down by a Ciradellian city guard when Madrigal was 17. She was a healer and she was out after curfew so she was shot on sight.) Personality Madrigal is very watchful and calculating. She's blunt, but generally likes to talk to people she's comfortable around. She prefers being by herself most of the time but does enjoy the company of others in smaller doses. Extreme sense of loyalty. Does not enjoy killing but she won't hesitate to do it, but she does love to jump into a fight, crescent moon blades in hand. Weapon of choice Madrical carries a set of crescent moon blades, which she guards with her life. Each knife is made up with two curved crescent-moon shaped blades interlocking, hence their name. They are small, their grips in the middle, requiring one to get close to their opponent. The knives provide a number of slicing points and blocking points, and are the perfect weapons for one against multiple opponents. Madrigal also carries an array of throwing and carving knives. Strengths She's a great thief, so she often steals clothes and other things from vendors. She's really good at slipping into the shadows and disappearing, blending in. She has great skills when it comes to blades of most kinds. She carries a set of throwing daggers, and her crescent blades are her most prized possessions. Weaknesses Extreme self-consciousness (Because of her past, she overwhelmingly feels eyes on her when she's out, especially in open spaces, which is why she's really good at slipping away so she can get away from the feeling) Fears She is scared of being caught by her old kingdom. Backstory (WIP) Madrigal was a soldier for Ciradell. Other She owns a black cloak that she has altered herself. It has a good, three straps on the front, and has a number of pockets she has made for her blades. Whist Ceri was by the paddock fence watching the horse, her father explained their situation and that Ceri had just lost her horse and the man sold Nitid to them. Ceri took Nitid home, where she just did ground work with her for a year, and then she started riding and flat-work as a 5 year old. Now at 6, Nitid is established on the flat, has done some pole work, and Ceri is planning to start some work with the jumping soon.
