Welcome to Kastonn Farms, the place to go to become the best rider you can be. Located in Salem, Oregon, Kastonn Farm is the most prestigious farm on the West Coast covering 325 acres of lush land. Throughout the farm, you will find two barns, five arenas and six turnouts. A large pasture fills about five acres, and the rest is dedicated for trail rides. Kastonn Farms' barns are labeled 'A' and 'B'. The 'A' barn is down the hill, hidden from view. Most horses who stay here like the peace and quiet, but this barn is open to any and all riders at Kastonn Farm. This barn also has direct access to the Performance and Dressage arenas, not to mention the Redwood Trail. The 'B' barn is n a plateau the hills provide, the spotlight of the farm. The horses who stay here are mainly green, but once again, Kastonn allows 'B' barn to any and all riders. This barn may be farther from the Jumping and Cross Country rings, but has direct way to Banavill and Etton Trails. Not too far away from the 'A' barn, stands a beautiful estate. Complete with six bedrooms each with their own en suite, the mansion is home to the staff and some riders of Kastonn Farm. Not all staff and riders are required to stay there, however the gracious owners of the farm, Betsy and Arnold Kastonn, leave it open. Betsy and Arnold live off the farm, and hired a barn manager to make sure everything goes accordingly. You'd applied around July, and are excited to hear that finally, you were accepted. She is quite leggy and is muscle-bound and her face is a rounder heart. She has a heavy lower lip. Her nose is small but defined, and Rose also has some scratches from falling off of horses previously. Height: 5'7" Likes: Rose likes horses, training, equitation, and the technical side of riding. She also enjoys being around horse people. Dislikes: Rose dislikes reading, confined spaces, and people who are too stubborn to learn anything. Our Lesson Horses/Lesson Showhorses . Here at Kastonn Farms, we offer a variety of lesson horses/showhorses for the beginner program, or people who need a horse to show while they are looking for one to possibly purchase. You can even lease these horses, and if our BM thinks you fit the horse and can do well showing, even buy it yourself. . Diablo is our eight year old AA lesson showhorse. He is great for most Western disciplines, however we reccomend reining. He can take on two riders. Diablo can be a bit strong, but most riders can handle him. . Penny is our fifteen year old QH lesson horse. She is usually used for equitation lessons, or lunge lessons. She can take on any amount of riders, but three at most in each day. Talk to your trainer to schedule a ride. Penny can go slow, pack spurs! . Lastly, we have Jax. He is a three year old Arabian x Saddlebred and needs to be trained. Our Equitation trainer is to start him and will pick someone to begin lessons on him. She plans to train him in Performance, specifically Saddleseat. |
