Dogs and cats have a stereotype, they are known to not get along, always in fights, disagree on many things, and almost always keep up the rumors. Truth be told they are polar opposites and a "slobby" dog could never get along with a "snobby" cat. But, there are exceptions. Within the confines of a human's home, cats and dogs have been known to get along, share their home, and even become friends as they live together.

Unfortunately, that's the life of a dreamer. Those that live on the streets, know far better. As strays may stick together, but cats and dogs do not intermingle. In Lidow, the alley cats on the North, and the street dogs on the South. Each keeping to their own area, separated by a river and the Central Bridge.

This has been a fact of life for these Lindow cats and dogs for years. But with the new animal shelter's appearance, the stray's way of life is being threatened. Can these cats and dogs finally get along, to preserve their freedom, or will their old history of conflict get in the way?


Lindow:

The small suburban town on the outskirts of the city is split into two sections, North and South. Separated by a small river that is bridged together, by the Central Bridge. It's an old town so mostly filled with single-story houses, a lot of local shops to the North, a few schools, and one large shopping center in the South. There are multiple strays, most from their old owners passing, some born stray and others forgotten. Cats and dogs have taken control of their own areas and are usually only seen in their areas.

North Cats of Lindow:
They control and own the upper part of Lindow, they are not in a pack per se but do live as a group. They are mostly solitary, living in their own areas throughout North Lindow, sometimes sharing hunts and places to sleep. Though one leader does take charge and all others look to when needed. Rules:
- Fights without reason are forbidden
- Entering South Lindow is at your own risk
- Avoid dogs, and inform the leader of those in North Lindow

South Dogs of Lindow:
In charge of the South, these pack of strays lives together in an abandoned warehouse. They have a hierarchy that they sort out themselves and work together for most things, especially searching for food. They too have one leader in charge of the pack, and the leader has rights to everything first, the sleeping spot, food, etc. Rules:
- Infighting not allowed
- North Lindow is forbidden
- Cats within the South are open to confrontation.

Appearance:
Saria is a tall and long cat, underweight and short hairs. She has a tortoiseshell coat colour, mostly black with flecks of orange, and then smaller patches of ginger on the face and neck. She has vibrant green eyes, with scars along her neck and shoulders, one down her right hip and the tip of her right ear missing.

Saria is a calm cat, she prefers to watch how things pan out, think about the situation before deciding things. She isn't physically the strongest despite her size but is incredibly quick and quite intelligent. She leads fairly, everyone can either live solitarily or as a group.

Saria was born on the streets, her father was the previous leader of the Cats of South Lindow before passing. She had two brothers, one deceased and the other had long disappeared. Saria took leadership on her father's passing, but not without a few fights with other felines.

Offspring:
Previously, a small litter. She failed to keep any alive.

Thanks for signing up Wild style! One thing though, as stated, characters must have equal strengths and weaknesses. "Not harming puppies and kittens" is more of a personal choice rather than a weakness. Weakness for example could be:
- Physical injuries, wounds, limps, etc
- Sensory Impairment (Blindness, deafness, etc)
- Lack of skills, slow, weak, etc
- Mental like fears, etc
The opposite could be said for strengths.

I will consider Raven to be Lead Dog, but will wait for more people before deciding. Thanks for applying.

Appearance:
Stock build and average size for a boxer, he has a broad deep chest, with visible ribs. His ears fold over naturally and has a natural tail with brown eyes. A course coat, that's usually dirty. Fawn coloured with a black mask and minimal white markings.
Personality:
Decon has a lot of energy, is very friendly and loves to enjoy his time doing whatever. He isn't very neat and is in fact quite messy, often playing in dirt or filthy surroundings that result in him coming home with a dirty coat.
History:
He doesn't remember much but he was abandoned by his owners when he was only 10 weeks old. Why is unknown. He has no known family but does consider the pack to be his family.
