Personality: Catherine is a very type-A personality. She enjoys being around others and thrives off of social interaction but prefers her friends to be as goal-oriented and organized a she is. In the times where she is not riding she is painting or working on her musical talents. Her background as a socialite in Germany led her to be artistically and musically inclined though these are not talents she likes to admit to publicaly. She jokes around quite often and enjoys those who can understand her dry sense of humor. Catherine is not one for confrontation or admitting to how she feels, she has always found it hard to open up to people about herself and her emotions. She can be very blind to how others feel and process emotions which can make her come off as cold and rude though she tries not to be. She is a hard worker and devotes herself to her riding and academics.
Background (Optional): Catherine grew up rather wealthy on her father's estate in Germany. She has been riding since she was six and has been showjumping since she was ten. It was her mother's dying wish that her father kept her active in equestrianism. Her mother died when she was rather young and the only memories she has with the woman exist in polaroids taken by her older brother. She has a half-sister named Trystan who was the product of an affair her father had before her birth. Trystan and Catherine grew up closely despite the awkward circumstances between their father and Trystan's mother. In the summers they would spend together the girls would go on circuits together and play make-believe in the rolling fields of their country home. As they grew up however the girls grew further apart, their bond weakening when Trystan was sent to a boarding school in Virginia. Seeing how well it did her sister, Catherine's father eventually decided to send her to one in America as well, hoping the time away would improve her skills academically and as an equestrian. Although she is a German native her English is well developed and her accent hardly exists due to her time in study with English Tudors. Catherine hardly speaks to her eldest brother and does not know much about his life now, a truth that pains her greatly. (WIP)

Appearance: 16.3 hh dapple grey with a peculiar smudge on his poll. Tamlin's mane and tail are long yet well kept as his girl tends to spend most of her time perfecting it. It is often braided back in whatever style Catherine learned that week.
Personality: Tamlin is a well-adjusted and laid-back gelding. He prefers work over leisure time and is just as hardworking as his rider. He loves children and does not spook often.
Background (Optional): Tamlin was bought as a going-away present by Catherine's father when he was four years old. In the two years, he has spent with the girl they have developed a strong bond. He is a talented showjumper but it is evident that Catherine still has some trust to gain with him in the arena.

Appearance:

Ryker stands at 6’ 2” and sometimes 6’3 if he is wearing his boots. To add his frame, he has more of a stocky build. Years of working with horses and on a farm, he built up a lot of muscle. He has dark hair that he enjoys keeping short on the sides and slightly styled on top, but he usually keeps it in his hat. Speaking of hat, it is sacred to him and you’ll learn why its important to him. His eyes are a medium shade of blue with some green mixed into them. He does have a short length beard that he keeps groomed.

Personality:

Ryker is the kind of guy where he wants to get his work done before even thinking about going out. He enjoys working with horses and helping out around the ranch. When you first meet him, he might come off a little rude and just dismissive but if you try and interrupt him during work or while training, that would be why. Don’t take it to heart as its him in his zone. When he is not working and actually having fun, he does smile and knows how to have a good time. Usually it includes riding his best friend (Horse) Akuma, sitting around the bonfire, and stargazing.

At the young age of 5, Ryker was taken away from his mother. When she was pregnant with him, she was using illegal substances and when he was born… something in his brain wasn’t wired right, but they didn’t know that till later in his developing life. His mother did care for him, but loved the substance more. When he was taken away, his grandfather took full custody of him. Taking him many states away, his grandfather brought him to his ranch, Timber Horizons. There he was raised right, learned many life skills and lessons, learned everything about Horses and other livestock. Although, during his puberty years, he started having uncontrollable rage and ended with him and his grandfather fighting constantly… and it sometimes got physical. Yet, the police were never called and his grandfather found ways for him to chanel his anger. It helped him so much but sadly, at age 17… his grandfather developed cancer in his heart, which soon spread to his brain. He was lucky and lived for another 2 years before passing away peacefully in his sleep. Ryker was 19 and took over the ranch for 2 years with the help of the other ranch hands, but Ryker was young, had no idea of everything and soon, was forced to sell it. Now he moved away and owns a small cabin by the Academy.

Personality: He is very defensive over Ryker and will put himself between. Akuma is very disciplined but can be sassy when he wants to be. Most of the time he is trying to find ways to get a second treat in, or some good scratches. Be warned, he has the tendency to nip those who try and be near him if he doesn’t know them.
