Flowers, on the other hand, are almost non-existent, which is hard to tell, as many fungi species can be confused for flowers due to their shapes and colors, especially when looked at from a distance. But not all fungi species are small and colorful, some can reach incredible heights and may on occasion even surpass the height of the local trees.
Hidden among the countless of species lacking any form of advancement beyond their basic forms, are a few hidden gems beginning to show the first steps to more specialized species. The beginnings of thorns and specialized leaves can already be seen in a handful of species.
While the underwater world on this planet might not have any advanced plants or corals, their sheer numbers are astonishing. Almost everything in the shallower depth is covered in weeds, soft corals, hard corals and anything in between.
