Personality:Dekota is quite anti-social person as she usually feels awkward in social situations but she can be nice to the person in question. Her stubborn nature sometimes gets the better of her when it comes to her animals as they're her responsibility to take care of and not anyone else's as she tends to keep it that way. She isn't afraid to speak her mind when it comes to certain topics but she's pretty mindful of what words to say or use in some conversations, and she'll be sometimes clumsy which she's triping over something/nothing or not paying attention of where she's going

Backstory: She was raised in the city before getting into trouble with the law and was sent to a horse farm to deal with the crime. She learns to ride after paying off what she needed to pay, then she took lessons to do dressage and cross country when she bought her first horse. She has no parents and was raised by foster family who was great parents to take care of her.

Appearance (with height): she is a beautiful mare, she is a 16.4hh and brown eyes, she is a buckskin paint, with a mix of black and white in the mane and tail. She has a black strip on her back to her tail and black socks with a black muzzle. Her hooves are blackish-brown, she has a brand on her butt that is a L mark. Her tack is a black saddle, red saddle pad, black bridle, and a red halter when not saddle.

Personality: Finca is a bit full of herself; from her looks to her skills, she knows she's hot stuff. Unfortunately she's rude and can be aggressive. She doesn't want hugs and cuddles, rather she wants to work or be left alone. Finca is a powerhouse type with a tendency to put her head down and plow on. She's never afraid of a jump (or doesn't let on about it) and truly enjoys the sport. When she's in a mood - watch out for her bucking ability or her clamping on the bit and bolting off. What usually ticks her off is the dreaded Dressage - collection and hindend engagement is hardwork and she's not a fan. While she can do the work and do it well, it takes a lot of effort on both the horse and rider's part to set her up in a proper frame and engaging back to front

Name: Quail Yellowhead

Appearance (with height): Quail is indigenous, specifically cree. Quail stands at roughly 6'1, he’s more on the lean side although he’s still quite muscular, it’s just mostly lean muscle. He has dark brown eyes and dark brown hair to match. His hair reaches down to his shoulder blades, it has a slight natural wave to it. Typically he always keeps his hair in 2 basic three strand braids to keep it out of his face. He has naturally tan skin and gets an even darker tan when he stays outside for long periods of time continuously which seems to be a common occurrence considering his love for the outdoors. Clothing wise what he wears really depends on his mood. Sometimes he has a more casual look wearing a shirt or sweater with sweatpants while other times he has a very typical country guy look going on with jeans and the long sleeved button up shirts. One thing you’ll never catch him without is his cowboy hat and a pair of cowboy boots.

Personality: Quail is quiet but confident. He prefers to keep to himself although if someone talks to him he’s more than happy to have a conversation. When you get to know Quail and/or he becomes comfortable around you he’ll become more talkative. Quail is a free-spirit, he loves going on adventures and doing things for the thrill of it and to feel free. Quail also likes to joke around and tease those he cares about. Quail isn’t easy to anger but when he is mad it takes him a while to calm down.

Backstory: Quail grew up on a reservation called Kehewin in Alberta, Canada. While growing up he spent a majority of his time on his grandparents ranch, the Yellowhead Family Ranch. It wasn’t hard for him to go there often considering he lived just down the road from the ranch and was able to walk there when he wanted. He’s been riding horses ever since his parents deemed him old enough to and it’s been a great passion of his. His family has an exceptional history in rodeo and other horse riding events, particularly western. As a result Quail was able to easily follow in their footsteps, having his family there to mentor him along the way. He’s been competing in rodeos since he was old enough to. He’s been trying different events out constantly and he’s found multiple that he enjoys and some he’s not a fan of. Shortly after Quail turned 12 his parents decided to move down to Oklahoma to a small ranch. Since they moved there Quail’s skills have furthered in both the rodeo events and non rodeo events he does. While he loves the Oklahoma ranch he does miss Kehewin greatly, especially his family’s ranch and he goes back to visit as often as possible.

Personality: Edgar is an energetic and friendly horse, he’s always eager to meet new people and other horses. He also loves running whether it’s during a ride or when he’s out alone in the pasture. Edgar is also a confident horse and tends not to spook easily.

Likes: Carrots, apples, sugar cubes. Edgar is just really into treats of any kind. He also love attention from anyone and will often pester those who purposely ignore him, running, jumping, rodeos

Dislikes: Being apart from Quail for extended periods of time, dogs, losing

Backstory: Edgar was bred back on the Yellowhead Family Ranch in Kehewin. He and his mother were transported from there down to the new ranch in Oklahoma along with Quails parent’s other horses. Edgar was trained almost completely by Quail himself although there were times he needed assistance from his father and mother. The two share an incredible bond. Edgar is what Quail considers to be his heart horse. The two have been riding together ever since Edgar was old enough to be ridden, they’ve also been training lots and doing some events and participating in rodeos and non rodeo western events.

Appearance (with height): Octavia is a slim, slightly thinner-than-average girl with a fit but not particularly toned body type – She has strong legs and arms from riding and barn work, but she isn’t a huge fan of exercise otherwise. She is 5’6” and weighs 125 lbs. She is of Turkish-American ethnicity and has medium-tan skin, with brown hair that has caramel-colored highlights throughout. Her hairstyle is of medium-long length, falling just at mid-chest level, and she has fringe bangs cut across her forehead. Her eyes are a dark hazel-colored shade, though they’re definitely more brown than green. She has a diamond face shape and a rather narrow chin, with thick eyebrows shaped into a subtle arch.

Personality: Octavia is a very passionate individual, but this can often make her seem like a stick in the mud to those around her. She takes her goals and her work very seriously, so she does not make excuses for herself nor does she like it when other people try to give excuses, she considers it a lack of responsibility. While she isn’t mean-spirited, her personality can make her hard to get along with, because people don’t always know how to take her curt, blunt honesty. Octavia is loyal, though, and incredibly dependable, so while she might not be the most social butterfly to be around, you can be certain that your secrets are safe with her and that she will always do everything in her power to get a job done correctly. She’s definitely a control freak like that, too, and has a hard time not being in a position of power and letting someone else take over. She isn’t known for her small talk abilities that’s for sure, but Octavia is willing to lend a helping hand when she sees someone in need – Just make sure you catch her in a good mood.

Backstory: There isn’t much to say about her history, as she’s had a fairly normal life. Octavia grew up on the East Coast in the United States, and knew from a young age that she loved horses and wanted to be around them as much as possible. She started riding when she was around 7 years old, and competed in very simple walk-trot or walk-trot-canter classes as a child until around 10 or 11, when she started to have an interest in jumping. Octavia took lessons and leased horses all throughout her early teenage years, focusing first in hunter-jumper training and then eventually branching out into cross-country. She graduated high school just a year ago, and quickly has taken all the steps possible into branching out into a more professional equestrian lifestyle with a passion towards eventing.

Appearance (with height): Daredevil is a 17.2hh, purebred Belgian Warmblood mare. She sports the typical warmblood build, with an uphill build, a muscular, sloping neck, and powerful hindquarters along with a somewhat refined head, and a deep girth/chest. She is a light bay shade with black points (legs, eartips, muzzle) and a wide blaze. She has high white stockings reaching her hocks on both hindlegs and one foreleg, with the other foreleg having a much shorter white sock on the front half of her pastern.

Personality: She has the expected traits of a sport horse, being high-energy and eager to work, but she isn’t unsafe. Daredevil certainly isn’t for the beginner rider, she has quite the engine to her and can be strong in the bit with a tendency to rush at fences at the beginning of training or during a trial, but she isn’t unpredictable nor too ill-mannered. When she’s particularly energetic, she gets very hot under saddle, but she isn’t known for purposefully throwing her riders nor for being too spooky – She has her moments, sure, as most every horse does, but for the most part Daredevil is an intelligent, resilient mare, who once you gain respect with can be a very enjoyable and trustworthy mount.

Likes: Peppermints (The actual hard candy is her favorite!), Gallops on the wide trails, Being curry-combed.

Dislikes: Being brushed with too stiff of a brush, Fly spray/Spray bottles make her antsy, and having to do slow work when she wants to go for a canter.

Is scared of: Extremely loud noises, tarps or tarp-like things being shaken around.

Backstory: Daredevil was born from a rather prestigious lineage at IronGate Stables, a Warmblood/Sport Horse stud farm located in the Netherlands. She was privately bought and trained under saddle by a woman in England, who began to focus the mare into a cross-country discipline. When Daredevil was around 8 years old, she was purchased and imported to the U.S. by Octavia’s trainer at the time, but when her trainer decided she had too many other young horses to compete with and move up the ranks, Octavia’s family helped her purchase Daredevil as her first horse. The two have been each other’s partners for about three years now.
