Name: Crimson Sunset "Crimson"

Appearance: Crimson stands at 90 cm (3 feet) tall at the shoulders, making her a relatively big female of her species. She is a muscular cat with a dark red pelt, where she got her name. Lighter patches sprout on her haunches, back, underbelly, and throat/chest. With glowing amber eyes she is a sight to behold, a truly stunning specimen. She has big paws with razor sharp sliding claws that tend to glint in the sunlight. Scars marr her atheletic, lithe body to show she was in fights- but the fact that she was still alive and healthy meant she won every one. The most ditinguishable is a long scar down her back right leg, that twsist around her pastern like a vine. The tip of her tail, tips of her ears, and back legs/haunches are marked with faint black points.

Personality: Crimson is a battle-hardened female with enough sass for 4. She tends to not like males because they mistreat her, and dare say, pay. She does not take kindly to anyone that insults her, annoys her, or irritates her, and will tend to snap and growl. An excellent hunter, she has learned from many fails how to get it right, and it now more of a Leathal Weapon than a cougar. She will not hesitate to jump into any fight she deems neccesary for her expertise, and while fighting she is very determined. Courage and braveness are unboundful in Crimson's personality, and she will stand up to any stuck up cat, showing them who is boss. (her). Sometimes being a little too quick to anger and judging, she tends to push friends away. Yet, when one sticks close enough, she will be loyal to them for life, protecting them in the good and the bad, and stick by their side as long as she lives. Crimson is hard to get to, and has thick outer walls, but on the inside she can be a sweet loving cat... way down deep.

Family: Mother poached, no idea where father went, all siblings died either before birth or near after.

Backstory: Crimson was born to the queen of the cougars in the mountains. Her mother was a strong, independant cat that was very determined, like her, and didn't take well to strangers. Crimson had 2 siblings but one, a runt of a male, died before birth and the other, another smaller female, died right after. Honestly she was glad because they looked like puny little things and probably wouldn't have survived, from what she could remember. As she got older and matured, her mother taught her everything she needed to know, and how to fight anyone that stood in her way. The one enemy her mother told her they had were the humans, and she got warned about them over and over and over. After Crimson was almost full grown her mother was on a hunting trip when her mother was taken by surprise by a group of humans, who killed her.. with a big fight. Three of the humans got viciously mauled and one died in the hospital days later, but they had a cougar pelt to show for it. After that Crimson mourned for a minute, but hardened her outside layer and moved on with life, rising to the position her mother once had- top puma.

Name: Ares (Meaning: War, Strength, Courage [Greek god of war])

Species: Jaguar

Age: 5 years

Gender: Male

Appearance: Ares is a simply astonishing 351 lbs, with a height of 3.4 feet at the shoulders. He is a humongous muscular brute of a male with an extremely dark red pelt and lighter spots with black circles around them. Scars marr his body, the most distinguishing being one that goes straight through his left eye- thankfully he was not blinded when he got the scar. Long scars stretch across his flank and down his haunches from many, many won fights. Using his size and sheer terrifying looks, he has won his fair share of fights. Being named correctly, Ares is definitely a killing machine. He has a robust body and great strength, with giant paws and sharp claws. Long fangs sprout from his mouth, stained red with blood from prey and his victims. Coppery eyes shine out of his dark red face with a fiery look.

Personality: Ares is a quiet brute, one who doesn't like to interact with others as much. He has a joking streak and likes to tease others, but otherwise he wouldn't talk at all. He is a determined individual but doesn't really need to press to get what he wants. Most of the time he looks at whatever he wants and the animal that is hoarding it either dies from fear or leaves, shrieking bloody terror. Ares doesn't particularily like that everyone and everything seems to be terribly afraid of him, but he has learned to accept who he was. It would take a lot of convincing from someone he really cares about to tell him he's not a monster. Ares is brave but he doesn't really have to be. He has a daring edge that comes from being in his prime, always wanting to get something more.

Family: Father, obviously left- or got chased away by the mother. Mother kicked him out as soon as he grew old enough to live on his own. He had one sibling, a sister, who he never saw after he got kicked out.

Backstory: As said above, Ares was born with one sister. He was taught how to hunt and the basics of life, then got kicked out as soon as he knew enough to survive. He wandered all the way up, away from his home territory and to the north more, trying to find a territory of his own. After finding a little slice of heaven, he used his size to steal it from an older male jaguar and won the battle. With plently of prey, shelter, and water, it was the perfect place to live. Ares has been challenged many times for the land but no one has succeeded yet.

Name: Diablo

Species: Puma

Gender: Male

Age: 4 years

Appearance: Diablo is a tall puma, his withers around 3.2 feet at the shoulders. He had wiry muscle but was still very atheletic, more slim than most. Strong haunches pushed him along the ground quickly, and sloping shoulders provided a slinking, sly look. With his dark brown, almost black looking eyes and mask looking thing around his face where the shadowed fur got lighter, he looked almost like an overgrown racoon. Lighter brown streaks of fur showed on his haunches, back, hind legs, chest, and underbelly. Diablo had unsual coloring, being born with too much melanism with in turn turned most of his pelt black. Part of his ear had been ripped off by a close call, and he had various small scars. (But nothing like Ares).

Personality: Diablo is a hard-headed male that will stop at nothing to get what he wants. He is a bit rude at times and likes to tease and joke around. He has an extremely short fuse and gets angry quickly, though when he is not angry he seems rather laid back. He loves to tease and joke around with everyone, seeming too forward sometimes. Never once has Diablo held back, and never once has he backed down. He is a determined, stubborn male that hasn't gathered too much wisdom or knowledge from his short years. However stupid he seemed, inside Diablo was rather cunning.

Family: Diablo never met his father, like most. His mother raised him and his 1 sibling, a female that was much bigger than him at birth.

Backstory: When Diablo was not even halfway grown his mother kicked him out for being the runt. He went to search for food on his own, increasing his talents quickly to avoid what would've been certain death.
