All looks good to me Ebol Wen!! I've just been getting my stables up to date. On Tredon Mawr, its just a matter of finishing the staff blogs. On Ashwell, its all finished apart from sorting the riders. And on Chaddlefield, I'm sorting horses, and will have to sort riders!! I have the most to do on Chaddlefield.

Follyfoot Farm said: I think it should show as caves because the mines are not visible, being inside the caves. the links are better - as it saves space on the blog, and keeps us in tenterhooks just that little bit longer. Are we allowed to download it for reference? just stating having the brain block - released something so Marion is now talking 10/12.
Changed to caves. Yes, go ahead and download it. When we've done the last few names I'll post another set of pics.
I'm looking forward to reading your story, still haven't had the chance! :(

I'll have to come and visit your stables when I get a chance. Sounds like you're doing a great job on them.
I have lots of catching up to do on mine!

sorry to ask this again but was wondering about distance and time - just as hopeless with these as reading maps left right east west etc. thinking whether it would be possible to travel by pony from wwl to old mill in reasonable time so can send extra boxes to folly & MM for more horses to compete. i know its all make believe but this terrestrial girl can only take fantasy so far. (trying to do a bit preshow?)

Scale is probably a little off on the map, but I think we can estimate about an hours ride at a leisurly pace so the horses don't get worn out before the competition.

Tredon - this is what Harmony and have i been discussing over the weekend watching chitty chitty bang bang - hushabye mountain and dragons came to mind for near the college - extinct volcano??? Fire breathing dragons could eat limestone - thats why they are so jagged! Though he/she does eat other things maybe vegetarian? have some thoughts on that if you and tredon agree. could have a different rock for the cave it sleeps in. they are attracted to jewels & gold as are soft & warming from what I have gathered from other stories but not sure what the rock would be. my cat loves to sleep in different places so the dragon could also. re dragons: we could have a weekend trek. with a valley nearby for corraling the horses - see the feral band where stally gets his first sight of the mares he going to steal. do you know what an oxbow lake is? i wondered if one can be situated where there is a bit of a squiggle on the nine daughters river just below nans ceffyl? or just say it is there? To you both - plants possible for dragon to eat Draecana - part of asparagras family dragon fruit dragon arum lily - purple snapdragon = many coloured - could have different properties celosia - dragons breath bush red feathery flowers /burgundy leaves with pale spots dragons blood sedum in between rocks black dragon rose begonia - dragon's wing maurandya - magic dragon - fast climbing - could act as aphrodizzyac (I know it is spelt wrong) :P isopogon anemonifolius - type of yellow anemone Dragon willow Tree Fleeceflower plants

The oxbow should be fine to add.
We still need to name the main river and the triburary by Wyldewoodland. I'm not sure if we decided on 'Llif Gweryrad' / 'Neighing River' for the main one?
We also don't have a name for the mail valley, could be 'Cwm Gweryrad' / 'Neighing Valley' if we're going with that one for the river, but I don't mind what we have for either if you can think of something more suitable.
There's a town up by Pen bryn College that has yet to be named too.
I like the dragon idea but think it would be best kept as an old folk tale. Everyone can tell of stories about the dragon that lives high up in a cave in the Havenshire Hills. We could name the cave and put it on the map. 'The Dragon's Lair' or something similar. Students from Pen Bryn college could have a trail that takes them past the entrance and they could tell campfire stories about the dragon to try and scare their friends. What do you think about the dragon idea Tredon?
I love the weekend trek idea! Wish we could do it for real... and for a week! lol
I won't be here much on Monday, taking a relative to the hospital, it will be an all day thing as we will be 3 to 4 hours on the road, so I will get back to you both on tuesday.

some suggestions for village name Abraxan horse with bluish wings = Pegasus Granian – grey version of Abraxan Threstral = hpotter horse Skymma similar sounding to skoma island - also flying insect Pendik = place in turkey – Pegasus airways I thought we were using the Tiddy Mun as the tributary & I have used the flowing neigh as the main river in my blog but if that is not liked, thought of the river of life because that is what water is? it is easily changeable I like the Dragon's lair as the cave by PBC. As for the trek need scottie from star trek to build me a transporter, harry potter's flue network or Dr Who's tardis to come & join in the fun. as always none of the above of my suggestions have to be used.
