have used Harriet - she does get placed in the competition :) Why not use this coming week as competition week then we can see what horses were used & who is placed where instead of fishing through every individual's results. That way we can have a full week instead of amnesia over dressage.

I believe Bronwen has a Konik pony!
How do you both feel about including a zorse in the rare breeds? Zebra / horse hybrid? He could be disqualified for not being a pure bred. Edited at October 3, 2020 04:46 AM by Harmony

Good ideas Harmony!! Follyfoot, that could work, though what I've done before is kept a list saved on a word doc, so I can't forget. I usually make a list of every horse and rider entered and what class, then it makes things much easier. You can do what you like, but what we've done before is make a list of each class, then choose our horse and rider for each class. It doesn't take long. We usually have it done in a day. We could use your poll idea then to see who wins!! Shall I we start by making a list of classes that we want? I can make a blog with all the entries if you want, then all you need to do is look on my blogs if you ever forget. I'll put is somewhere easy to find, so you don't have to scroll through everything. List of Classes Dressage Cross Country Show Jumping Carriage Driving Rare Breeds Vetrans Youngsters Under 3 Triumph Through Adversity I think these are all the classes we've talked about so far. If you can think of anymore, I'll add them to the list. So we can pick 1 horse and 1 rider for each class, or we don't have to enter them all if you don't want. I'll try and do mine today, then you can start your stories if you want as I won't be on til Monday after today!!

This maybe a silly question, but what actually is Triumph Through Adversity?

All those classes look good to me Tredon. We'll make the driving just for beginners on this one. I think the poll is just for the veterans and under 3's where we can vote for our favourites. Tredon Mawr Stables said: This maybe a silly question, but what actually is Triumph Through Adversity?
I think it's a class for disabled people. Correct me if I'm wrong Follyfoot. Ouch... too much thinking there, I've got a headache now! lol

Triumph through adversity can be anything you want - I have used a disabled child who connects with a mare. you can use that scenario if you want or could use a horse with a poor start - like found in appalling conditions to grow up a superstar at something (Lady Wonder was a horse who could count!) or an accident followed by amazing recovery. The list is endless. food enough for thought?

I was looking at Zorse's for my brindles - oh dear. when would a breed come into it's own as have several contenders that I think are part TB & something else. No horse is pure apart from perhaps the extinct. Now there's a thought. Do you want biggest bum on a horse and I dont mean a rider :)

I was looking at Zorse's for my brindles - oh dear. We could have a special section for hybrids - are we talking just donkeys & zebras or going into horse hybrids as Lippizzaners would be in this category as descended from Murgese. when would a breed come into it's own as have several contenders that I think are part TB & something else. I think Ebol Wen means a cross of species rather than breed, as every breed has decended from other breeds. Lippizaners have only ever been bred with other horse breeds, not another species like donkeys and zebras. Moonacre Manor said: I was looking at Zorse's for my brindles - oh dear.
