Well then just an Other King which was promised to Nora but Nora refuses and so she had to leave with Alec and Eric to new Lands and maybe to form her own Armee to kill the King

Nora's father is so uncaring after The Incident that he makes a deal with a really mean king and betroths her to that king. She finds out, and knowing that the king will make the situation in Gwenore way worse, she gets really angry at her parents and runs out to the (I forgot the word where the Knights all sleep and do stuff together blah blah) and then insectoids attack. (just another idea using your ideas) (Also, I really love insectoids because they're super creepy)
