Art Mentors GIMP: Still looking Feel free to PM any of the above with questions related to their program, or ask a question here <3 Artsy Evenings Every weeek or two, a Join Me link will be sent out for club members only. A few kind members (who will be determined before the JM starts) will do 'Tutorial Nights'. E.g. one night, the topic could be Manes. Then two or maybe three different members will all show their method, pausing every now and then to answer questions related to their art. While they art, the viewers can converse through the Join.Me chat, about anything and everything that comes to mind. On other evenings, two members will work on a collaboration piece, which would then show the viewers the whole manipulation process. The entire piece might not be finished just then, but as much as possible will be done. Another idea: Again, a small group of members will do a Tutorial Night. This time, however, they will split up different parts of the manipulation process. E.g. Sunset starts with body prep and explains the process as she goes. Then Fleur (either with the prepped horse of Sun's or her own cut-out horse) does the mane. And so it carries on for various parts of the art piece. Interested in helping out? Interested in helping out in any way with the club? PM me with the subject 'AA | Help' and say exactly how you would like to help. Open positions in the club: Prize manager The prize manager would be responsible for A) sending out prizes for contests. B) Organising donations and replying to offers. C) Help divvy out prizes into 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for our various contests. Star Catcher Estate has kindly offered to do this :) Art mentor (see above) Art mentors are responsible for replying to questions regarding their program (when possible) and helping out with art tips in general. Mentor sare not limited to the programs listed above, those are simply the first ones that came to mind. Artsy Evening host Hosts are responsible for starting the Evening JM (As I am not always online, I can't always do this) as well as moderating the Join.Me chat. They will also have to be able to be on at their slot fairly consistently, and be able to know their way around the JM system. They must also have a Join.Me account. Host slots: Evening Host #1: OPEN Evening Host #2: OPEN Note: More than two hosts per time slot are more than welcome! Edited at June 20, 2020 06:51 AM by Tanglewood

As said in my application, I'm good with being an officer, Tangle. -- Hey y'all. Guess I'll give little introduction for my art.
As for manips, I've got lots of improvement that's gotta be done. Actually frustrated that I've been making no progress lately... >_> Anyway, I'm a lower Tier 3 artist. I'd love assistance in improving these works.
For digital art, I'm pretty new to this. I've just gotten a sensor and stylus so I'm only now getting into drawing this way. Haven't done much yet, but I've been working on creating backgrounds. I'm getting happy with my skill in that area. I'd be glad to help you guys out with that sort of thing.
Now for traditional art. I'm also sort of new to this, but I've had more practice here. I'm rarely happy with my work, but I guess I don't give myself credit or praise in literally any aspect of life, so I guess I shouldn't be the judge of my level. I mostly draw horses but am getting into other things too.

Hallo peeps. Seeing as how I'm one of the officers, I should introduce myself :) I'm Fleur. I've been doing traditional art ever since I could pick up a crayon, and I absolutely love taking classes and continuing to doodle. I've gotten up to Art Major in my HS classes, and I would be taking AP Studio next year if not for dual-enrollment at a local community college. Where I will, of course, be taking art. For my digital art experience, I started in.... oh lordy, 2016 on dA, doing HARPG. I dropped it in 2018 because it got to be too distracting, but I loved doing art for it. I've since been doing commissions for friends of their OCs, and it's lots of fun. My digital art supplies currently encompass my Chromebook and Photopea :) It's a painstaking process, but it's worth it until I can get a tablet. As for photo manips, I started doing them in December? :) I pick things up pretty quickly, and I think I've improved quite a lot. I did do a tiny bit of photo editing in my graphic design class last year, but that was just to flatten my muffin top for a design project lol I'm currently undecided whether I'll pursue a major in art for college, but it's a very strong possibility. Hello art friends <3 Would love some tips for outlining hair traditionally. Preferably short hair, as most of my characters are short haired dudes. Thanks in advance!
