Myth in my experience it's only EEE+ KNN that are 'weak' because they're been inbred to the point that certain weaknesses are crippling them. Most PPP-EEP KNN, which it looks like they're using, are equivalent to those of other breeds.

Ceci I just started my first gen so their parents are TBs and KNNs but then eventually I will breed them to each other but create fresh crosses to keep from inbreeding too much

Hey everyone !
I signed up a few days ago and I had some questions. (I played the game a few years back but stopped quite quickly, so I have limited experience).
- First of all: Are the ratings and color genetics the only thing I should worry about when breeding my mares ?
- What are the difference between championships, futurities, world games, horse of the year, and futurity ? (A general explanation would be welcome, I'm a little lost)
- How does the training levels work ? I noticed there was the Training Gauge, and then the Dress/Eventing/Jumping/XC levels, what is the difference ? What should I most pay attention to ? I feel like some of my horses progressed more than others (for example the foal's training gauge hasn't moved).
- If my aim is eventing, is it faster to do one discipline at a time or "all disciplines" ?
- How do the years work ?
- What is the principal way of gaining money ? I read showing but at my level it seems like I can't win much or enough...
- On what should I concentrate to get a good start in the game (should breeding be a priority, or is buying horses best, ...etc)
Thank you ! :)

To start and to answer all your basic questions you should go and start reading the game guide https://horseeden.com/help.php
Additionally you can find a lot of helpful threads at the "guides forum" - maybe you want to take a look there, too.
There you should find almost all your questions answered. And then you can start to build up your stable depending on your goals. At the end, HEE is an economical game and there are more than hundred ways to play it - and each one if the right one ;)

1. It depends on your personal goals. 70% of players breed for ratings so that is what they pay attention to, the other 30% look at the genetics when breeding. There is more money in breeding for ratings but like I said, do whatever you want to!
~
2. Futuirites are for baby horses. You enter them before you even breed them and it's a gamble. Federations are what get you into championships and world games. The top 12 horses every year from the feds get entered automatically by the game into championship shows. Then when they reach 20 fed points they can be entered into the world games. Both of these are for premium accounts only
~
3. This is a long one so I will definitely suggest reading member guides, but this is a crash course.
AD horses take longer to train but you train every trait every week. In general, you want to see improvement Wk 4, Wk 7, and Wk 10. Horses will start to level up every 7 weeks. The eventing level is decided by the average of their jumping, XC, and dressage levels.
SD is what I personally breed. You want to see them move up training bars every 3 or 4 weeks. An average horse will go up all 3 on week 4, but a very strong horse will go up training bars on week 3. They will also level up every 7 weeks but strong horses can level up every 6 weeks. They definitely train faster because you are only training 3 traits opposed to 6
~
4. Train in AD from week one!
~
5. One real month is a game year. The first of every month is Rollover and the beginning of the year, so horses age up and LB reset etc...
~
6. Unfortunately showing is your best bet. Just buy a barn full of SD geldings and they will eventually bring something in. You will be surprised how quickly you get an income from it. I definitely recommend reading Eury's show guide under the link Kuewi gave you
~
7. I would start by establishing an income with show horses. Once you can stay over 100k most days then you can start to focus on breeding. But this is just my advice so you don't go broke. You won't be able to fund your breedings if you don't have an income
