So from looking at other barns I notice there is a lot of things other people don't do like set an avatar (which is what I'll talk about in this post) so whenever I think of something ill come and post it or if you guys have some things you can post it here or pm me if its a basic question like how do I get more rerolls I'll just pm you the answer. So let's get started

So today I will tell you how to set your barn avatar so first of what is an avatar, it is the picture on your barn. It says the date the joined and last played right next to where it says that is a picture where the avatar is located

first off let me say If you don't have a horse pic you want to use (that is your own no copying other peoples pictures without their permission) pm me with

1. your barn #
2. Your barn name or abbreviation (i know some barns have abbreviations like mine is TVS and my other barn is SDS)
3. What color do you want your text in

And I will respond with a list of pics for you to choose from once you pic a picture tell me which one and I will do this all for you make it the right size, change the file type, etc…

so if this is your choice skip down to the very bottom

If you would like to do it yourself then just tell me so I know you're using my pic because I don't want 2 people to have the same picture.

okay, so the first thing you want to do is pick out a picture this picture either needs to be square or a rectangle going up and down.

once you have this picture picked out you probably need to change it to jpg so to do this use the link below

so then you just follow their directions drop the picture you want and it will change for you. after you change your picture you need to make it your own this means adding your name (abbreviation) and barn number, the most important part is your barn number cause then it just looks like you stole it.

so you'll want to drag it to your desk top after it changes and once there is a button that looks like a marker inside a circle (ill give you a screenshot of these buttons and where they are) press that and it should give you a little tool belt.

inside this tool belt is an A inside a bordered perimeter that will pop a text box up in the middle of your picture first do the barn number and you can put it anywhere and change the color by pressing the Aa button on the toolbar.

after you have both your barn number and name then go to the weird button that kinda looks like a square, this is where you will change the dimensions to fit

rectangle picture: so on height you will want to put 3.50 and the width should automatically change but if it doesn't put in width 2.63

square picture: if you have you have a square your width and height should both be 3.50.

so now you are ready to put it into the picture in the game so you will go to stables under that there are stable activities and there you should see a button that says Set Avatar And Banner.

there there will be a button that says choose file. this will allow you to pick your picture under this if you haven't added it to your pictures then just press desktop last step.

This is just a more complicated way of saying that the stable avatar can be no bigger than 300 x 300 pixels.

no, because it goes through step by step how to do it give the exact demension and shows you how to change the file. i know when i did it it was very hard to figure it out im trying to be helpful

You could also just link an image shrinker :)

Most artists witha few spare minutes will resize avatars for people if they ask nicely, or guide them through how to do it for themselves. It also helps screen imaging credits before Mods need to intervene which helps reduce the workload for said Mods.

Not saying, what you're providing isn't helpful, but it's not laid out very clearly and I know several players with visual impairments and others will have trouble with reading your block of text.
