They're a premium feature :( Basically you can enter your horse for a chance at a boost in stats, but it's not guaranteed and your horse could lose stats as well.

Yeah what Bug said is a definite way of gaining stats but it'll def take longer than trail rides

You could start with only a few EEE+ mares so it wouldn't take too long to rate.
But colour or bravery seems like a good option

I'm not sure but from my experience typically beach rides boost strength the most! mountian trek and fox hunt seem to be more scope + heart

No, I don't believe you need a forum account any more, and to set up an art shop you, got to go to Forums > Art Shops and scroll down to the bottom of the page where it says create a new topic, and you fill that in with your new art shop info, don't forget to read the forum/art shop rules before posting ;)
