Thunda, I feel that pain of being too busy to play and having horses die off.
I had 18-23 yr olds left when I logged in again to try and actually play again last month

Hello! I'm here to sort horses. My bravery testing just found a dud. lol

But the hustle is paying off. We're buying our first bit of real estate. Kids are going through prek. The dog training business is taking off and thriving.. sometimes the game isn't as important as RL stuff.

Willow,
If you goal is to provide feed formyour own horses, I would probably go with hay first.
And for the time of year after hay is harvested, you can use the pasture for emergency horse housing.

Just be careful to not get in a bind where you cannot plant hay again the next spring 😉😉
It is a common trapÂ…haha

Being completely full was an issue, BUT that was because I didn't play for, I think, almost a full RL year. I logged in every now and again, but not long enough to clean out.

Thunda I often use Horse Search for my own horses and I have never had that many as you do. It is a very handy page 😉

Willow, yes, regardless of what crop seed you plant, the process is the same for each variety .

Did you have any other specific questions not covered in the guide?

But on the other hand, I love it and it comes in handy for capture days!

I downsized from 1300 barns/pastures ;)

Sometimes the long list of barns/pastures gets annoying. And horses get lost.. that's where the horse search comes in handy.

Art pricing Help: What would be a fair price? August 9, 2018 05:10 AM

Hi, I used to do custom horse art on here, but closed up my shop a while back. I am interested in opening back up for a limited time, but I am lost on what a fair price would be. I see lots and lots of photo manips which are great, but my art is custom drawn. I do not use photo manips for my horse arts. I plan on working on a better resolution for my images (idk why this one turned out so pixilated) But anyway, here is one of the most recent works I completed last month.

https://horseeden.com/horse.php?id=16319460

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Also if you know what would be a better size+resolution to work at to avoid the pixilated curse, please let me know!

Do you recall or have an idea of what you were charging before?

I was charging only 15k per horse for my art back in the day. But, that was a long time ago back when art prices were much lower. lol

I was thinking between $50k and $75k/each would be reasonable - especially since it is all custom. Your art is fabulous!
