Looking for a little critique and help with pricing. I've been told I should move up but I'm not so sure. Currently I'm in tier 2 and I have my art priced at an average of 10k per piece. Please feel free to give me some feedback :) A few examples:

Awesome work! I love your work and hope to order again sometime in the near future. I feel like you should stay in Tier 3 and keep prices the same. However I see a future Tier 1 artist skills in your work! Edited at April 26, 2020 10:33 AM by Sunstone Eventing

Agreed I'd stay in tier 3 for now I'd charge like 20k for horse avatars Your muscle definition / shadows / highlights are way to 'out there' try using soft light layers and blend then in more On the art help. Section of the forums there are a ton isf tutorials listed in vellum forum that can help out with prep Your hair is quite good so far, I'd worn on adding more flyaways and worn on shape more And as a whole work on your lighting :) Also try working on blurring the horizon a bit on your backgrounds to add more focus on the subject (eg the horse) Edited at April 26, 2020 10:19 AM by Sunset Grove Farm

I do think you should stay in the tier you're in. You could raise your prices though to maybe 20k-30k. My recommendation for your art overall is to not be quite so severe with the highlights and shadows. Maybe try making them a little gentler to add more realism.

I think you should stay in Tier 3 and keep prices around the same. Nothing too grand but be sure to raise a couple thousands! Your manes are nice but I agree with Gem and Sunset on your highlights and shadows. Hope this helped! Edited at April 26, 2020 10:21 AM by Moon Shadow Ranch

I agree, stay in tier 3 for now. You show really good promise, as well as being comfortable with animals other than horses. So many artists aren't, so great job on that! Although your prep is amazing, you tend to sometimes over-muscle. Muscle is needed, but maybe try to make it less hard and sharp. You're comfortable with tack, and know how to edit it slightly without completely re-doing it.

I don't think this is what she meant by feedback. From what I'm reading, everyone is just telling her to change her style, which isn't feedback. Where the problem is, is that everyone on HEE tries to go for the same look on art and copies other peoples style. Emerald was asking for feedback on HER style, not for everyone to tell her to change it. She is aware that everything is "bold" as you guys are putting it, and she does that for a reason. Just because she doesn't try to make her art look exactly like everyone else's doesn't mean it needs to change. I can tell whenever a piece is by Emerald because of these things you guys are telling her to change, and she's probably the only artist on HEE I can actually tell what work is hers due to this. I'm not trying to come off as rude but there is a fine line between feedback and telling her to change her style. And I know some people will also try and take advanatage of her pricing (Just by checking her forum you can see people taking advanatage of it) and she's just trying to help people out by offering quality art at lower pricing. So in my opinion, you should move up to tier 2, for one, people in your shop taking advantage of you/ being greedy, and 2 your art is well worth it, and I would pick over a lot of other tier 2 art any day. When someone asks for feedback, look through their style, not yours.
