Lately I've been struggling with some really tough art block. I just can't seem to find any motivation to do the art, which I know needs to be done. I've opened up PS countless times, but have never managed to do anything. I've had so much free time that i can do art in, but again, just never find the motivation. How do you all get through and "defeat" your art block?

I go out on walks. I usually see something I want to draw/paint so do it right away. Same thing happens when I watch movies. I'll all of a sudden want to draw so I'll just stop and do it right away. Resumed: If you evewr feel like doing art, do it RIGHT away. Don't feel like doing art? Go do something that will possibly inspire you

Well, simple. I dont do art and just find other ways to occupy my time. My art motivation always comes back whether it be a day later or a month later. Sometimes we all need a break. Don't force it. :)

Though I am far from an expert at art, I suggest looking through some art examples. You can often find a piece and think "I want to draw/manip something similar"! Or, like what Jello said, take a break. Maybe you'll feel refreshed and ready to go afterwards ^^
