Oh yes! I'm making a message right now. hehe

Need a hunting license and learn to shot first, before a bigger freezer! Or at least make a good friend willing to trade a hunting place for some meat. XD

And hopefully no jinxing!

Sounds like you might need a bigger freezer... breaded wild turkey breast is sooo good! My husband is Up North in a turkey blind as we speak, and I have the breadcrumbs all ready for his triumphant return...

Probably just jinxed him! XD

LMAO I bet we could too. I've counted well over 20 different deer in our yard in the fall. O.o And we have turkey too. And assorted things like squirrels and porcupines. Oh and too many bears! Keep getting to our garbage can, right next to the house.

And check the Ph of your soil - plants cannot take up nutrients if the Ph is outside their range no matter how much fert you dump on them. Or maybe compost is needed?
You got my plant-nut brain going now and I need to go to bed. O.o
Feel free to PM me on plant stuff!

XD Thank you! *sits down* And I'd love to get to eat more homegrown food too. Since we moved 3 years ago, our gardens haven't been big or done so well... And I'd like to grow my own meat. :D

And it tastes good, too! Pull up a chair, Snow!

I like to know where my food comes from so we hunt and butcher ourselves. The Garden is 36x52 ft and is half set-in already. We have had a warm Spring here in Wisconsin and I am taking full advantage! Potatoes are 6" tall and the indeterminant ones are ready for their first layering.

Hello!

I started out using GIMP to edit/create my manips. It's a free software, though some people do find it hard to understand. Personally I never had that hard of a time grasping it and can try to help you out with that if you need.
I now use PS (Photoshop) from Adobe and really like it. I can be daunting at first because there's a lot in the program for you to use. I learned it in a few classes so that exposed me to a lot of the different tools and workings of PS which helped. Plus GIMP I found similar so that helped my transition. For either I suggest YouTubing a bunch of how-to's and tutorials!

For finding stock to use, Unsplash is a great source. They have high-quality stock (all free to use and anywhere which makes it simple). I also use DA (DeviantArt). I mostly get my horse stock or other random stuff from here, I mostly use Unsplash for my BG (backgrounds) now. With DA though, there are some stock that you have to buy. Also not everything on there is stock. Even if you search for stock make sure that it says so in the title/description or whatever and follow their rules. And look at the crediting requirements for HEE. It's in the art forum pinned near the top.
Hope this helps :)

Edit: As far as how you do manips, that's a very lengthy discussion and each person does it differently and has there own style. Just give yours a shot and see. But also YouTube tutorials are helpful and sometimes artists will post JoinMe links in chat to let you watch them do art. There are also numerous guides in the art forums I believe, but I am not positive.

This is like the Adopt a Newbie project, but it’s for art newbies. There are a lot of people that are super helpful.
EDIT: I JuST now realized that I posted the wrong link. XD It’s fixed now.
