Ven,
That really stings and I'm not even within colour theory anymore. But at the same time... It being printed in black and white kind of made me giggle. It has an awful irony to it lol

I also turned in my final design project for an event poster here at work and spent a good amount of time on color theory, as one does, and they had it printed in greyscale. Why. Just why?

So I've just started doing manips and by no means anywhere near perfect, but I thought I'd ask about my first completed piece. It's also a realllly big piece, so I'm already having trouble resizing it without losing most of the quality lol
Here it is:

It's looks good! however i would proably thicken up the tail where it joins to the body. other than that it looks pretty good! I would ask somewhere between 15-50k for it

this is really well done for somebody new to art!
i have been doing manips on here for a while, so here is some advice <3
i feel like the horse is FAR too contrasted to the background, lower that contrast and up the brightness just a bit.
also if you understand how lighting works and if you are able to do that, it would be really nice to see a litthe bit of a lighter part around the horses back, because you can see in the background the sun shines through.
also it could be really nice to see some ripples in the reflection, you can do this by grabbing the smudge tool and setting it to high, and do some straight, curves or squiggly lines across the reflection to make it seem more realistic.
if you do all that, id say its probably worth 20-45k!
super well done, great job!

The horse feels really flat/2D and I think adding a little rim lighting or some very soft highlights could really make a difference.
I'm borrowing CC Knabs' piece from the Official Critique thread for an example:
